Caleb

I kept myself busy all morning so as to not think about her and our situation. I was just about to head into a meeting when I saw her call coming in. Something had to be wrong for her to call me , after declaring she wanted a divorce. The minute I answered I knew she was scared. I walked back to my office and Texted Nathan. I texted Jason and the Chief. I heard the glass breaking. Shit.

“ Are you in the room?”.

That's when I heard her screaming.

“ Aria?Aria ?”.No answer, the line went Dead. Shit. I ran out of the office heading towards the elevator. I was already calling Ryan.

“ Hey dude what's up?”

“ Someone is in Holly's House with her ,She's screaming and she's scared, She's in trouble Ryan, Let Holly know I'm on my way”.

“ Caleb Stop.”

Did he just hear what I said?

“ Did you hear…’

“ Yes ,I heard you. I'm already in the car. I see Jason and the Chief too. If you Come down here everyone will know. Trust us , I'll keep you updated . Let me get there and I'll call you back “.

“ Okay”. ,I stopped In Front of the elevator. I ended the call and walked back to my office once there I began berating myself. Shit ,shit,shit. How could I let this happen?. We still couldn't find out who was doing it and now Benson and Catherine are in the picture which makes this More complicated. I shouldn't have let her leave, I shouldn't have let her go . I should have stood my ground and locked her ass up in the room. If I had refused this shit wouldn't have happened.

I paced my office like a caged animal. I was worried for her. I kept checking my phone, waiting for a call or a message saying that she was okay. Fuck it. When they find her I'm bringing her ass back to New York and locking her away in that damn house,she can be as mad as he wants, but at least no one would get to her.

Ryan

The minute he called, I ran out. I saw the Chief speeding down the road and Jason's Car was behind him. When I pulled up to Holly's House and ran in ,They were Just standing there.

“ Where is she ?”.
“ She's not here. There's broken glass by the back door. Her room had been tossed upside down ”. The Chief said .
“ Fuck. He's going to lose his shit” , I said pacing the living room.
“ I've got Pete Doing recon. Her security detail is also checking around ”. Jason said.

We all heard the car, When Holly ran in, she stopped in her tracks and looked at us.

“ Caleb Called me. Where is she?”.

I looked at her. “ Someone took her”.

She sank into the chair. “ I'm going back to the cafe. I'm telling everyone, "They'll start spreading the word “. She said standing up. I saw Nathan Walk through the back door along with The other Guy.

“ Boss you gotta see this”. Nathan said, walking over with the laptop. He set it on the table and pressed play. We watched the video from across the street. The neighbors had security cameras. Jason left around twelve thirty. Fifteen minutes later we saw a van pull up at the corner and Four men came out. They were dressed in black and wore ski masks.

We saw them Walk up to the house and walk around. They began knocking on the doors for what seemed like minutes . We saw two of them bringing her out from the back of the house. She was unconscious. They put her in the van and drove off.

“ There's no license plate Boss”. Nathan said

“ We tracked the Van all the way out to the creak. We found it but it's empty. Nathan said they probably had another vehicle waiting or went across the creek. Or they used the creek and came out further down to hide Their tracks “. Pete said.

“ What the Fuck am I going to tell Him now?. He already wants to come down here,if he does then everyone is going to know”. My phone started ringing.

“ Shit , he's calling “. I answered the phone and put it on speaker.

“ Where is she ,Ryan?”. I looked at them,I knew the tone of his voice. He was pissed and worried.

“ Someone took her”.

“ WHAT ?. I'm coming”.

“ No you're not. Look, we don't know Who took her. If you come down here and people see you looking for her They'll start putting the pieces together and that May put her in More danger. I can't be seen looking for her either. You're got more security,send some of them down, Pete will get some of his guys and they'll search for her quietly ” , Jason said.

“ How The FUCK CAN I NOT DO ANYTHING WHEN SHE'S MISSING ”.

I looked at Jason and shook my head.

“ Caleb Just trust us. We'll find her”. I Said. He ended the call.

“ He's pissed and that's not good. The last time he was this pissed was when you took Cindy and when he's like that , he's liable to commit fucking murder “.

“ I'm heading back to the Cafe. I'll start searching”. Holly said walking out.

“ I'm going to File a missing persons report and inform the deputies. We'll start searching “. Chief Matthews said as he walked out the door.

“ My parents are still here. I can't let them see me being involved in this. Pete get some more guys and Help Nathan and remember no one should know about this. Hurry up find my goddamn sister and fast”.

“ yes boss”.

“ Nathan,Call Max,find her . You know how Caleb can get . Do whatever you have to do. Find her and make sure she isn't hurt “

“ Yes Boss”.

After they both left , Jason just stood there looking at me. “ You're in a relationship with her friend. At least that's your cover story. Do you know they own a company?”.

“ Yea I know. Caleb knows too. Lacy is out of prison and no one can find Anthony, her ex. I don't know where Benson is , nor Catherine “.

“ I'll let Pete and Nathan know. I have to Head back”.

After he left,I just sat there for a second and called him back.

“ Nathan and Pete are out looking for her. Ask Nathan to send you the video. The neighbor's security camera picked it up. Just trust me. Trust us . The entire town of Payson will be looking for her in a matter of minutes. If you come down here and anyone is looking they'll realize that something is going on between the two of you “.

He didn't say anything,he just stayed quiet.

“ I know you feel fucking useless because there isn't anything you can do. Send Max down with some more guys. As long as they haven't taken her out of Payson we'll find her”.

“ Okay. Just Find her for me , Ryan. Please “.

“ I will buddy “.

The way he spoke,told me everything I needed to know. He was terrified that something may happen to her and she would get hurt. He was scared.

Caleb

I sat in my office,lost. I couldn't think clearly. I sent Max a message and he replied saying he was on it. Who took her and Why?. I left the office and headed straight home. I couldn't Deal with work at the moment, my mind was too messed up.

“ Caleb What's Wrong?”. My mother asked me as soon as I walked through the doors.

“ Aria's gone. Someone kidnapped her” , I Said sinking into the chair.

“ What ?. Then Why are you here and not there looking for her?”.

“ Jason,and his men, Ryan the police chief,Max, Nathan and the others are looking for her. I can't go there or the secret will be out, if people see me rushing there to look for her”.

“ Do they have any idea as to who it is?”.

“ No ,none. I'm heading up “.

When I got to my apartment, I just stood there. Catherine. It had to be Catherine or Benson. If Benson so much as fucking touch her I'll forget everything and become a murderer. I'll fucking kill Both of them.
