Caleb

I was on my balcony, staring at my phone, waiting for a call. just one call or a message for someone to tell me she's okay. My phone started vibrating and I saw it was Jason.

“ Did they find her?”.

“ No. My father knew about her. He always has. He doesn't know Why Cassandra ran and she wouldn't tell him. He's making some calls. Henry Davidson, Catherine's Father, knows who She really is. Do whatever the Fuck you have to or want to. We'll cover everything up but find my fucking sister”.

“ Good”.

I ended the call and grabbed my keys. When I walked down my parents and Cindy were in the living room.

“ Nobody leaves this house until I find her. Especially you Cindy. Stay at home where you'll be safe “.

“ Caleb? What's going on?.”

“ I'm going to find my fucking wife,and if I have to kill someone then I'll fucking do it”.

I walked out and got into my car. I heard them yelling for me but couldn't give a fuck. I stopped at the security gate.

“ Mr Cross “

“ Dan,Give me your gun” , I said looking at him. He looked shocked for a second but snapped out of it and gave it to me.

“ Open the gates “.

“ Yes Mr Cross”.

I drove out and headed out of Manhattan. It took me one hour to get to the Davidson residence. When the security guard saw me he Did a double take , but he opened the gates. I parked the car In Front of the door , I didn't even bother switching it off. I didn't bother knocking either. I opened the door and walked in.

“ Serves that bitch right. Thank you daddy”. That was Catherine. When I turned the corner and they saw me, they looked shocked. I pulled the gun out and took a seat.

Her mother said she was no longer a part of the family but here she was sitting as comfy as can be.

“ Caleb,you came for me”. She said, scrambling up and running towards me. I pointed the gun to her head which had her backpedaling.

“ What the hell do you think you're doing?”. Davidson yelled. I pointed the gun at him.

“ Where is Campbell's Daughter?”.

“ What ?”.

“ Come now Henry. You see , Jason Campbell and I called it a truce. We put our personal differences aside because he needed my help in finding his sister and because I've spent time around his sister and I'm already here and I know this Crazy bitch of a daughter you have,he asked for my help. So where's his sister?, Where is Aria Garcia?”.

Catherine looked at me then At her Father.

“ What ?She's his sister?”.

“ Apparently so. She's his half sister and he's on a mission and so is the senator. “

“ Isn't she your wife?”. Catherine asked with confidence.

I couldn't help but laugh

“ You actually believe she's my wife. Aria Garcia is already Married. My wife is tucked away in a very nice, small and quiet Country in Europe. Aria Garcia isn't my type ”, I Said looking at her. It hurt my heart and burned my tongue just saying those words.

“ So Henry, your choice. If you know where the senator's daughter is, tell me or let her go right now . I'll walk out of here without hurting you or your fucking insane daughter. I'll tell Jason you're not involved in this. Or Say one word I don't want to hear and I'll shoot your daughter and keep shooting her until you tell the truth”.

“ You'll go to jail for this Cross”.

“ Yea , I don't think so because if killing someone helps Find the senator's daughter then I don't think the senator would let me go to Jail. So , I'll ask again, where is she ?”.

He kept looking at me ,so I shot Catherine in the leg, she fell to the ground and started screaming, holding onto her leg. He ran over to her.

“ CROSS “.

“ I'm waiting”. He wouldn't answer so I stood up and walked over to them.

“ Last Chance “. I said pointing the gun to Catherine's Head. My phone started ringing. I saw it was Jason.

“ Cross we found her ,well. They dumped her outside of the Cafe. She's alive but in bad shape,get down here now”.

“ Okay “. I said ending the call. I saw Athena Davidson walking in ,she stopped short at the scene before her.

“ They found her , lucky you “. I walked out the door and got into my car. The minute I was on the road I called him back.

“ Fuck. I had a gun to Catherine's Head. Where is she?.”.

“ She's being Airlifted to Phoenix. My father is losing his shit”.

“ Umm ,I shot Catherine. The Davidson's know something about this. I'm on my way to the airfield. Make sure Holly is with her”.

“ I'll deal with Catherine. Holly is with her”.

Holly

We were sitting in the cafe. I was lost. It was eleven o'clock and there was no News. Gertrude and Ryan were with me. We were sitting there just quietly praying when Jason walked in.

“ Apparently my father knew. He always knew about Aria. Cassandra was running from him but he doesn't know why. He tried to ask her but she didn't and wouldn't say anything “. He said look at us.

“ Then Who was she running from?”. Gertrude asked .

“ That's a good question “, Ryan said. We were all startled by the Van that pulled up in front of the cafe. When the door opened and they threw something out. I started panicking. I ran to the door immediately. When I rushed out. I couldn't move.

“ Aria, Ari. DO SOMETHING “.

I grabbed onto her, she was covered in blood,her clothes were ripped and she was barely breathing. I held onto her, I zoned out all I saw was my best friend, lying lifeless in my hands. When I came to, Ryan was tugging me. Where did the helicopter Come from?

“ Hey Look at me. Come on Holly look at me”. I looked at him.

“ We'll be right behind you. Go with her, she's going to be okay “.

I nodded as he helped me up into the helicopter. I just kept looking at her. What did they do to you Ari?. Who did this to you?.

Jason was in my car , Max, Nathan and Pete were in the car behind us. Gertrude was with chief Mathews ,he was leading us.

I listened as he told Caleb.

“ He shot Catherine “ ,

“ Is she Dead?” I asked

“ No”.

“ The I'll kill that fucking bitch myself”. These people were pushing it.

“ I need to let my father know but I can't risk my mother knowing “.

“ Caleb's going to lose his shit. He's going to Kill someone. I've known Caleb all my life and not once has he ever been this invested , interested or in love with someone like the way he is with her. People are going to die and as fucked up as it is , I just hope your mother has nothing to do with this because Caleb will do anything to protect her “.

“ I know. I hope my mother isn't involved either because I would have to Walk away and let him do whatever he has to do”.

When we got to Phoenix it was One Am. When we rushed into the emergency room Holly was pacing back and forth. I walked over to her.

“ How is she?”. She shook her head, No.

“ What do you mean?” , Jason asked

“ She woke up and started screaming,she didn't want any of the male nurses or doctors to touch her. When she saw me she grabbed onto me and started crying. They had to sedate her to take care of her” ,She said through tears.

“ Fuck . I'm going to make some Calls”. Jason said walking out. Gertrude sat with Holly. Chief Matthews and Jason were pacing the emergency room. It was around three Am when Caleb rushed in.

“ where is she ?”.

“ Caleb, There's people Around” Chief Matthews said.

“ I don't give a Fuck Who knows, she's my fucking wife”.

I looked at Jason and shook my head. He was about to go off the deep end and it wasn't going to be good.We saw the doctor walking towards us. Holly rushed over to him.

“ How is she ?”.

“ Family members only ”, He said looking at us. Caleb grabbed him by his collar.

“ Where the fuck is my wife?”.

Jason , Chief Matthews and I grabbed him.

“ Cross Relax “.

“ Very well , Follow me to my office “ , the doctor said. We followed him and he stood looking at us.

“ You're the police chief of Payson so I'll hand the report to you. The young lady, your wife has been raped multiple times, from the internal abrasion I would say repeatedly over the last twelve hours. She's suffered a few broken ribs, Both shoulders have been dislocated and Broken wrists. She's been choked with Something, probably a rope or something of the sort. She is traumatized,he absolutely refuses to let any male next to her “.

“ A rape kit has been done, I'll hand that over to you Chief “.

Fuck, I was looking at Caleb and I could see every single word taking effect. The door burst open and a nurse rushed in.

“ Doctor, Richard the patient in room seventeen is awake and screaming “ ,
