“ wow so that's why she was at Cross’ s place Last night?”. I said looking at them

“ WHAT?” They both shouted in unison.

“ Well yes, yesterday after you guys left the hospital I got discharged . Holly took me back to her place ,I still wasn't feeling up to it. Holly made some calls to the insurance company but we were having some issues with them . Holly said that she would take the initiative and she would speak to Mr Cross and ask him if he could help us , so Holly left to go to Mr Cross place . I drank my medication and I fell asleep . This morning , Holly told me that last night while she was there she and Mr cross and his friend found Lacy sneaking around his place and when they questioned her she said she was there to see me as if I would be there” , I said looking at them.

“ Jesus Christ what the fuck us wrong with that girl ?” Grace said .

“ God, talk about desperation. Cassy is another one. How can she act like nothing happened or she has no idea when she was sleeping with your boyfriend”.Mya said.

“ I have no idea. I've already told Lacy, I have nothing to do with Caleb Cross but she just doesn't seem to get it. ” , I said.

Just then Josh walked in with a few others.

“ Hello ladies, we're here to get you back together again ”. Josh said, smiling.

“ Then let's get to it. This Cafe Is gossip central and we can't let that stop” ,Grace said standing up.

“ Ahh so that's why my Missus is always here ” , Peter said laughing.

With Their help we started. Grace decided she'll take the kitchen. Mya and I continued outside, Halfway through by two in the afternoon Holly showed up.

“ Damn ,you guys are fast. I brought food and drinks”, she said. Setting the boxes on the table “.

“ Don't mind if we do ” ,Josh and his workers said.

By five that afternoon the cafe was back to normal. The displays and oven came around three. Josh and his guy's installed it for me. I told them for the next two months all dessert and coffee were on me. I could afford it. I thanked Mya and Grace.

Holly and I were sitting in the cafe, having a few beers. I told her everything Mya and Grace said. She was shocked. We were on our third beer when we closed the shutters and doors. We turned on the music and relaxed.

We sat there for almost two hours drinking when the front door for the cafe pushed open and Caleb walked in followed by Ryan. He was wearing a different shirt from this morning. Maybe it was the beer but suddenly he looked hot. He had a look on his face and Suddenly I remembered last night, I felt that twing deep in me and I felt the wetness in my underwear. God damnit.

“ Well well well it looks like you ladies are having fun without us. ” ,Ryan said, walking over to me.

“ There's more beer if you want ” ,I said.

They both pulled a chair and sat down. Caleb took my beer.

“ Oh yes Caleb you mentioned. Catherine Davidson. I know someone by that name well I don't know her personally but had an altercation with her” ,Holly said.

I looked at her.

“ It was around the time your mom Passed away. Remember the crazy girl I told you about?”, she asked me.

“ Oh yeah, That was her?” ,

“ Yep” She said. I looked at Caleb and Ryan

“ So here's the deal , No one in this town knows what we do ,no one knows that well we're millionaires. Everyone thinks we run this cafe alone. I never told The asshole ex of mine either, just my mother ,Holly and her parents. If people know then they're going to want something and we like the quiet life. ”.I said, looking at them both.

“God damn you're both Rich?” Ryan asked, looking at us.

“Yes .So Catherine. I know her because during the time Aria's mother passed away. We stopped taking clients and I received non stop calls from Richy Davidson for a contract. I refused but he kept uping the price he would pay. Aria told me to do it so I did. The day I went to upload the software to the company system I ran into Catherine in her father's office and let's just say Catherine had a few choice words for me . she said some things and pissed me off so I walked out cancelling the contract and returning the money. However Richy kept calling and begged nonstop until I got annoyed enough and went back again. He paid double the second time” , Holly said

“ When I returned Catherine was there and the abuse and cursing started again until Richy came in Slapped Catherine and chased her out apologising profusely to me . Aria doesn't know this because She asked me to take care of it. She wasn't in the right headspace to work”. She said, looking at them.

“ Fuck. Catherine would have had to have been a real bitch to you in order to leave such a long lasting impression on you”. Ryan said while drinking a beer.

“ She was a Bitch ” , Holly said

“ Well you know what she looks like. If she ever shows up at least you know what to expect. Ryan will show you a picture of Jason so be careful ” ,Caleb said.

“ Any news from the police or fire department baby ?” , he asked me

“ No nothing as yet. If they find out anything I'll know , Raphael will let me know”. I said, looking at him.

I guess I was looking at him in a weird way because he would raised an eyebrow looking at me. I just smiled. I wanted him and I wanted him bad.

Okay I didn't expect Holly to know Catherine but that was good . She was staring at me . I guess the alcohol was getting to her. I went and grabbed a few more beers. I was about to walk back to the table when I noticed it through the shutters.

“ God damnit this fucking girl won't stop” , I said

“ She's outside?” ,Ryan asked

“ Yes ,Call the chief ”,

They were looking at me.
“ When we left here this morning Lacy was following us around so I went to the police station and made a report. The chief said to call him if I saw her again” , I said looking at Aria.

Ryan was already on the phone. Fuck first Catherine and now this. The only fucking normal part of my life is Aria, Ryan and Holly.

“ They'll be here soon “ , Ryan said, putting his phone back into his pocket.

We sat drinking until we heard a knock at the door. Ryan stood up.

“ I'll handle it “ ,he said walking to the door, Holly went after him. I looked at her.

“ How much did you drink before we got here baby?”.

She shrugged her shoulders ,she got up and came over to me. She put her legs over me and straddled me. Fuck.

“ Aria ,Good evening. Mr Cross, I'm sorry about this nonsense. I've spoken to Ms Andrews and explained if she doesn't stop you'll be filing for a restraining order. I'll speak to her parents about this and get them to try and make her understand. Aria, Raphael called me a few minutes ago. The fire at your house was started by someone. They poured gasoline all over the house. The back door was jimmied, someone broke in and did it. Also the number the message came from was a burner phone” ,he said looking at her.

Shit . I stood up and looked at her.

“ That's it . Both of you are staying at my place. When we're gone both of you will go to Holly's place until the chief or Max finds out who's doing this shit to you ” ,I said.

The chief was looking at me then her.

“ Well with his reaction, I'm assuming you're together?. Don't worry I'm not a gossip. Wherever you're staying if Mr Cross doesn't have someone watching you , I'll have an officer checking in with you. I owe it to your mother ” ,the chief said, looking at her.
