Sorry Mom, I'm so sorry for using your name like this. When we walked out of the Office ,he was gone.

“ Where did he go ?” ,she asked

Everyone looked at her. Mrs Winston looked at her.

“ Dear old Caleb just told us who you are. You're a Bitch that's fucked in the head and you won't find him in Payson. He's already left ” , Gertrude said laughing.

She walked out the Cafe slamming the door. Everyone was looking at each other.
I did not expect this to happen today. I went back into my office and Holly followed me.

“ He's at the police station, he's waiting for you, ” she said, looking at me.

“ Why ?” , I asked her.

“ Just go. Chief Mathews will come get you on the pretext of your house burning down. He has to leave now” ,She said looking at me.

The minute she walked into the Cafe I knew I had to make a move. I called Ryan to get my stuff. When she walked after Aria, I couldn't say or do anything that would only give everything away. When that door closed, I saw her call me.

I stood up and looked at Holly.
“ Explain it to everyone here” I said, grabbing my laptop and walked out. The minute I got outside, Max pulled up.

“ Sorry sir,I didn't see her,” he said.

“ That's okay. Take me to the police station. And get me a registrar for me to get married. I'm going back to New York, I need some that you trust to come here and watch her” ,I said

“ Okay Sir. I have just the person ” ,He said speeding down the road .

When we got to the police station, I got out and Max left. I walked in and asked for chief Mathews. I was shown his office.

“ Mr Cross What seems to be the problem?” ,he said

“ Can we speak in private?”.

He nodded and led me to his office. Once there I explained the entire situation to him.

“ Okay, I'll go get her. And Mr Cross , make sure she doesn't get hurt. I'm here where I am because of Angela Garcia and I promised her I'd always look out for her daughter ” , he said

“ I won't. I'll be leaving Payson as soon as we're married ” , I said

“ Okay I'll go get her. Stay in here”. He said walking out. God Dammit this is such a headache. Why wasn't Catherine stopping? . I called Holly and explained everything to her ,she said she'll let her know.

Ryan was calling.

“ Where are you?”. He asked

“ Police station ”

“ Good ,I see Mathews about to get Aria. Catherine is looking for you. I already Explained everything to Josh at the construction site, he'll tell his guys. He promised no one would say anything “ he said

“ Thanks” , I said into the phone.

“ I'll be there in a few ”. He said ending the call.

I was sitting there for about ten minutes when Chief Matthews walked in with a man and Aria behind him. I walked over to her instantly.

“ I'm sorry baby ”. I said holding her.

“ It's okay ”.She said smiling

We heard a knock on the door ,so I pulled away from her. The chief opened it and Ryan walked in.

“ We got twenty minutes, Caleb. The private jet is already on the way. I sent your stuff with max”. He said, handing me the box with the rings.

Chief Matthews looked at the man.

“ Arch, you're here to marry Aria and Mr Cross. You owe it to Angela to make sure her daughter stays safe. No one out of this room can ever know this” ,he said looking at the man.

“ No one will. She won't sign her full name, just her initials. I'll do all I can to keep it hidden but Mr Cross will need to do his part ” ,he said looking at me.

“ Don't worry I will" .I said looking at him.

He pulled the licences out and we both signed it. Ryan and Chief Matthews were our witnesses. I pulled the ring out and placed it on her finger. She put mine on.

“ Sorry baby,but when this is all finished you'll get the wedding you deserve “ , I said looking at her.

“ I never thought I'd see this day. Congrats both of you. We gotta go Caleb ” ,Ryan said looking at me.

“ We'll step outside and give you two a moment ” , Chief Matthews said.

“ I'm going to head back and register the marriage. Mr Cross you can contact me personally on this number ” ,He said handing me his card.

“ Thank you ”I said .

When they walked out ,I grabbed her and kissed her.

“ I love you baby. I'm sorry I am. I know you won't be able to wear your ring so you'll Wear it on this necklace ” ,I said, giving the box to her.

“ I'll send a package for you, it'll be in Max's name. Until then don't call, I'll send a burner phone and always leave that hidden at home. I don't want to take any chances, I don't want anyone to know we're in contact with each other ”. I said looking at her. I heard the knock on the door.

“ I love you Aria, you and only you. I'll see you soon baby ” , I said kissing her hard and deep

“ I love you too Caleb ” , I said looking at him.

When he left I felt a sense of loss. Chief Matthews walked back into his office.

“ He really loves you. I checked on Anthony about your house and he said he was home around that time. Be careful Aria please ” ,he said looking at me.

“ I will ” ,I said. I opened the box he gave me and took the necklace out. It was a gold double linked infinity chain with a heart pendant. I removed my wedding ring and put it on the chain,then placed it around my neck. I hid it under my shirt.

Chief Matthew was looking at me confused.

“ It doesn't matter that he's gone. if I'm going to start walking around town with a ring on my finger people are going to know I'm married and when he returns to New York he's going to be in the eye of the public and they're going to see the ring that he's wearing and people from around here if they see it online they'll start putting it together I just don't want anyone knowing for now. Holly knows., you and Arch and that's about it, Lacy can't find out” I said looking at him.

“ No one will, that's Why I sent everyone out on patrol. Come on I'll take you back to the cafe ” ,he said standing up.

When I got back to the cafe Holly looked at me. I just smiled. Everything was back to the way it was. Before Caleb ever showed up in Payson. Holly and I were sitting talking with Gertrude when a tall strapping Guy with a backpack walked in.

“ I'm looking for Ms Holly Simmons ” He said

” That's me ,what can I do for you?”, she said standing up.

“ Hello ,can we speak in private?” he said, looking at her and then me. I touched Holly's hand letting her know it was okay.

“ Sure Follow me," she said, walking towards our office.

About ten minutes later they walked out. He left and she came and sat next to me.She began speaking quietly.

“ His Name is Nathan, he's your bodyguard. Cross left him to keep an eye on you. He sent Burner phone,he said Cross already explained it to you “ , she said

“ Yes he did” , I said

“ Okay, he also left the keys to his place and all the keys to the cars he has” , she said

“ Why would he? , never mind “. I said , the cafe door opened and Lacy walked in.

“ Didn't I tell her she's fired, you're forbidden from entering my Cafe” ,I said looking at her. Everyone in the cafe was looking at her.

“ Bitch please. So Who was it ? , which one of you fucking bitches in here is screwing Caleb?”.She yelled.

After Catherine showed up, word got out and by the time I left and returned the cafe was full. Everyone was waiting for some drama. So they were all looking at her.

“ Answer me ” ,she yelled at the top of her lungs.

I saw the look on Mya's face.

“ Hear ye hear ye the people of Payson. This slut asked a question? ,This slut has fucked half the men in Payson including her EX-Boses boyfriend. She was pregnant but had an abortion , she stalked Mr Cross by sneaking around his house, She was even reported to the police and this slut still stands here as if she's a saint asking questions ” ,Mya said smirking at her

I guess Lacy didn't expect that.

“Who the hell did I sleep with?” Lacy yelled

Grace came out of the kitchen, I guess she heard the yelling.

“ Bitch you fucked Aria's ex ,Anthony , You fucked all the guys down at the firehouse, James told me before we got together. You fucked Marcy's husband Dean at the fair. Marcus , Alisha's husband should I continue?” Grace said.

Now I saw Alisha and Marcy standing up

“ Grace is that true?” ,Marcy asked

“ Now don't Beat her ass up in the cafe. Wait until you Catch her outside. Lacy you've been accusing me of being with Mr Cross Non-stop and I've told you I wasn't involved with him. You're sick in the head for sleeping with other women's husbands and boyfriends. Ladies I suggest you all go get yourself checked out because if your significant other slept with this whore then you'll never know because God knows how many men she slept with ” ,I said looking at her.

“ Wait until your Momma hears this Lacy she's going to be so disappointed in you and I'll make sure to tell Anne myself ” , Gertrude said sipping her coffee.
