“ My name is Catherine Davidson. Caleb's finance. I would just like to ask you some questions ” ,She said smiling ,if she was pretending she was friendly her smile said differently.

“ Of course".I said, I stepped aside so she could enter.

I closed the door and took a seat. I called Caleb's phone. He answered immediately.

“ What can I do For you Ms Davidson?”

“ How long has Caleb been in this town and how often has he come here?” She asked me.

“ Mr Cross, well he showed up in Payson specifically about three days ago , I think ” ,I said looking to the top left as if I was trying to remember.
