Aria

Holly and I were looking at each other. He was lying through his teeth.

Interviewer: Can I ask where ?.

Caleb: I can't tell you that Jacqueline.

Interviewer: Okay,okay.

We saw a man Walk onto the set and spoke to the woman. She looked at Caleb.

Interviewer: We have a caller on the line right now and this individual is currently in the same place as Ms Davidson. And Ms Davidson is insistent that she and Mr Cross are together. Shall we put the call up on the screen?.

Caleb: Do it

Holly and I were looking at each other. When the video came onto the screen,you could instantly tell the person was recording her in secret. She was sitting with two other women.

“ So you and Caleb finally got married, but why in secret?. You were always saying Caleb would give you the grandest wedding” ,one of the women said

Catherine just smiled, “ it was a spur of the moment decision. We'll have a wedding later “ , Catherine said looking at the ring.

We heard someone in the background.

“ Hey Catherine Davidson,We all know Caleb isn't Married to you, you're a damn stalking psycho “ ,the man shouted.

Catherine turned to look at the man.

“ Excuse me,do you know Who I am ? I'm Catherine Cross , Mrs Cross, how Dare you call me a liar?” ,she said.

Caleb : Is there a TV there? Have someone turn it on so she can understand it's all out in the open.

Interviewer: Ronald, get someone on the line right now.

“ That idiotic girl has done it now. The entire world Will see how wicked she is ” , Gertrude said.

We looked back at the TV. We heard the same man again.

“ Hey Davidson, smile you're on tv” ,he said laughing.

On the TV ,we could see Caleb and the woman. On the screen Jasmine was looking at the TV seeing herself.

Caleb: So I married you?. I wouldn't touch you again for a trillion dollars. You're wicked, manipulative, spiteful and downright nasty. There isn't a person in the entire tri state area that doesn't know how mean and nasty you are.

Catherine: Caleb how could you?

Caleb: How ? ,yes or no. Did you not find me in Payson Arizona?.

She was quiet.

Caleb: Did you not hit my sister?.

Caleb: Haven't you been stalking me?

Caleb: Haven't you hurt every single woman after you?.

Caleb: Haven't you been lying that we're together?

Caleb: didn't I end our relationship two years ago?.

She was quiet. One of the women sitting with Catherine looked at her.

“ Mr Cross, if what you say is true then Catherine you are a very deceitful woman. You faked pictures of yourself and Mr Cross, also phone calls and videos and showed them to us” ,the woman said looking at her.

Caleb: See that is what I meant. She's vindictive and deceitful even to her friends. I have nothing to do with Catherine Davidson, I even hate saying her name. I will say this now Catherine. If anything happens to my wife you'll be responsible.

Catherine: Caleb please, I love you.

Caleb: Well I don't,grow the fuck up and act your age.

We saw the women that were with her Walk away. Minutes later she ran out of the restaurant. The call ended and we were left looking at Caleb and the woman. Some of the girls in the cafe were cheering.

Interviewer: Well ladies and gentlemen, we've seen and heard it all. It seems Mr Cross is right in his accusations. Only time will tell if Ms Davidson understands. Mr Cross Thank you for your time.

Caleb: It's no problem Jacqueline.

When we were off the air. Jacqueline looked at me.

“ Is she really that crazy?”, she asked me

“ Yes she is and now that everyone knows what the truth is , she's going to up her crazy. My wife isn't in the country at the moment and she won't be returning not until I get this matter handled “ , I said looking at her.

“ Well hopefully you're able to protect your wife”.

“ Oh I will. When Catherine starts her shit be prepared. You'll get the first scoop”. I said standing up.

“ Thank you Mr Cross. Hopefully everything goes well and you and your wife settle this”. She said, shaking my hand.

When I walked out of the News studio and stepped outside. Reporters were waiting. Max cleared a path for me and we headed back to the company. I was going over some documents when Ryan walked in around lunch and sat down looking at me.

“ I just heard from a Very reliable source that Davidson has his daughter at home and has locked her in her room “ ,he said

“ That's not going to stop that crazy bitch. We both know that”. I said

“ Holly called me a few minutes ago. She's headed to New York. She has a meeting with Aius Incorporated. They need some software. Holly decided she would send her. She's leaving at five , she'll be in New York by midnight. I already told Max. Keep an eye on her without making it obvious. She doesn't know Holly told me“. He said, looking at me.

I sat back in my chair.
“ My mother wants to meet her. Can we get her into my place without anyone seeing her?”, I asked

“ If we do it the right way then Yes. Her meeting is tomorrow at two. Let the chopper pick her up after she gets off and take her straight to your place. When she's ready to leave . Take her back to the hanger and then she'll go to her meeting. Or have her go to the mall and have a car waiting for her. Have Cindy go over and wait for her.“, he said leaning back.

“ No, I don't want anyone seeing them together “. I said

“ Okay then tell Max what's happening and get him prepared “. He said

“ Okay “ , I said.

I ended the work day at three and left. On the way home I explained what I needed Max to do. He assured me he could get it done and no one would see. When I got home and my mother saw me She thought something happened.

“ We're having a guest, she'll be here after midnight “ , I said looking at her.

“ Your wife?” ,she asked me

“ Yes “. I explained why she was coming to New York and how she'd get here. After that my mother left , running around the house. When my sister came home at five she found my mother going all over the house. She sat next to me .

“ What's with her?”,

“ Aria is coming” , I said , and she jumped up and ran too. What the hell was wrong with them. Were they really that Happy.

Shortly after Caleb's interview we got a call from a Big company in New York. I didn't want to go but Holly said it was my turn. I didn't tell Caleb, I told Holly when he called to explain it. I left the burner phone with her .When the place landed in New York it was past midnight. Thankfully my meeting is in the afternoon.

I waited until everyone left, then I walked out . One of the air hostesses stopped me.

“ Ms. Kindly wait, someone wishes to speak to you” ,she said looking around.

I stood waiting. I saw a huge guy walking towards us. He came up to me.

“ Mrs C please come with me” ,he said, handing me a phone. I took it and looked at it. All it said on the screen was boss.

“ Hello?”,

“ It's okay baby, Max will bring you to me” , I let out a sigh of relief when I heard his voice.

“ Okay” , I said, handing the phone back to max.

“ This way” ,he said, taking my travel bag. I followed him through the tunnel then he turned. When we reached the end we were in a hangar. There was a helicopter in the hangar. He opened the door for me.

“ Please get in Mrs Cross and strap yourself in. It's a short flight “ ,he said, placing my bag inside. He helped me up. And locked the door. He got in and sat next to the pilot.

Within minutes were in the air. New York always looks amazing at night from above. What felt like fifteen minutes, we were in a less crowded area. I saw the house.

“ That's the Cross Mansion, “ Max said.

Why was he living in a mansion?. The helicopter landed on a landing pad at the back of the house. I undid the straps. Before Max could get out the door was thrown open and he was standing there smiling. He threw a hoodie on me and covered my head. He wasn't taking any chances.

He helped me down and Max grabbed my bag walking towards the house. He held my hand and led me towards the house. I kept my head down all the way to the house. The minute we walked in he took the hoodie off and looked at me.

“ There you are,"he said kissing me.
