Chapter 59

IAN was drying his wife’s hair as Emily was sitting at the vanity. She was silent before Ian was kissing her naked shoulder that was not covered by the towel. She giggled before she turned as Ian finished with her hair.
“So, are you ready to tell me to make me understand?” Emily asked him as Ian was looking at his wife. How can I be so lucky to have her? He mused before he was kneeling in front of Emily as he was sighing.
“Well, first of all, you need to understand that I have Porphyria was not my choice and it has never been anyone’s choice to survive it. But I did and I think I have to make sure that you understand that I need blood constantly throughout my whole life,” Ian started as Emily was staring at him. She nodded before he was kissing her knuckles.
“Then, what happened after you survived it?” Emily asked him as she was caressing his hands with her thumbs. Ian sighed before he looked at Emily. They were staring at each other.
“After I was 15 years old, I felt that my body wanted something else. I would always feel like I was still hungry, even after I was eating a whole lot of food that day. Then, when my late father told me that I needed blood to function properly, I immediately understood that I am a changed man,” Ian said as Emily was nodding at him. He continued.
“At first, we only needed a pint, but we kept building on the craving that I would eventually need an anchor that could provide blood for me without exposing the secret to the locals. It would freak them out if they knew that their gentries were monsters,” Ian said as he chuckled lightly before he sighed. Emily was gripping his hands.
“But you’re not. You are not a monster, Ian. Don’t say that you are,” Emily said before Ian was looking at her.
It is time to tell her the truth, he mused before he was taking a deep breath.
“There is something else that I should tell you as well,” Ian said, as Emily was nodding at him.
“What is it?” She asked before Ian got a telegram from the Baron of Fell. It was sent a few days ago by him before Ian was giving it to Emily. His wife furrowed her eyebrows before she was reading the note and that’s when Ian saw her face turn white.

EMILY was reading the dismissive message that was given by her husband as she was looking at the telegram. It was nothing much, just a few sentences. But those sentences made her catch her breath.
Lord Moore’s son is alive. But he did not want to go back to Royal Molftus. He said to take care of his sister on his behalf as well ~ Fell.
Emily was reading it again and again as she was taking a deep breath. She cannot breathe as it had been years since her brother, Edwin Moore, was missing when he was eight and ten, a young lord who went out on his own after the tragic death of his parents, leaving his only family and little sister alone at Moore townhouse in the capital. Emily was five and ten at the time. She felt the tears stream down her cheeks.
“Hey, are you alright, my love?” Ian asked her before Emily shook her head. She was giving a dismissive back to Ian before she was taking a deep, shaky breath.
“So, is my brother alive? After all this time? But I thought he was being attacked by someone—”
“He recovered but he did not remember you at all, at first. Mostly, he believed that he was Edwin Ortiz, a villager from Cantersea where he was raised by a fisherman named David Ortiz, but the old man passed away 2 years ago,” Ian said as Emily was looking at him.
“Then, where is my brother now?” Emily asked Ian as he sighed.
“He was in Betown Port, working as a guard to the young queen. He remembered you again after he arrived at the port but he did not wish to meet you. He said that he was a failure to let you down and let you do nothing,” Ian said as Emily was sniffing quietly.
“Can we go meet him someday? When was he ready to meet me?” Emily asked her husband as Ian was nodding before he was kissing her forehead.
“We will. You don't have to worry, my love. I am here now, and I will be with you as long as we can both live,” Ian said as Emily chuckled at his statement.
“That will be a long time for us then, since you’re a Vampyre,” Emily said before she furrowed her eyebrows.
“What is it?” Ian asked her as Emily was staring at her handsome husband.
He is handsome because he was a Vampyre and I was not. I would be old and wrinkled all over before I eventually died. I don’t think I can see myself being with him without feeling conscious of my appearance, Emily mused before she sighed. Ian arched his eyebrows.
“Emily, tell me what’s wrong,” Ian insisted before she was biting her lower lips. Ian growled.
“You little minx,” Ian said before he was about to kiss her. Emily stopped her husband.
“Wait,” she said, as Emily was looking at Ian. He furrowed his eyebrows before Emily was breathing hard.
I have to tell him, I have to speak my mind, she mused before she closed her eyes and opened them to look at her husband. Her handsome husband, Marquis of Kain, Dorian Hassildor, the one that will never get old like her in the future.
“Emily?”
“What will happen to you when I die later on? Will you find another wife?” Emily asked Ian as her husband was arching his eyebrows. Then, he chuckled. Emily glared at him before she narrowed her eyes.
“You do like it when you can marry someone else, someone that was younger than me, someone new after I was—”
Everything died on her lips as Ian was kissing her lips. She wanted to protest but she was gripping his broad shoulders before Ian broke the kiss. Emily breathed hard.
“I was about to get to that point. I want to ask for your consent to be like me,” Ian said, as Emily was blinking her eyes at her husband.
“Someone like you?”
“Yes, Emily. I want to change you to be a Vampyre. Usually, when a Vampyre takes a spouse, they will be together forever as the Vampyre will change them. I was hoping that you would agree to it. Not that I want to force you, but I thought about it and—”
“Yes,” Emily replied as she was pulling Ian closer to her. Ian was looking at her.
“Yes? Yes, as if you mean you agree to be changed?” Ian asked her as Emily was smirking wickedly at him. Then, she moved to put her mouth next to his ear.
“You will never get the chance to marry another then, husband, for I will be with you for all eternity,” Emily whispered to his left ear before she was looking at his face again. His amber eyes were changing to the black pool as she knew that his Demon was controlling him now. Ian smirked.
“Then, let the ceremony begin,” Ian whispered before he pulled Emily to his hard chest before he wrapped her legs around his torso. Ian was moving toward the bed before he dumped Emily on the bed as she was chuckling lowly.
Then, Ian was on top of her as she was looking at the familiar amber eyes that took her breath away for the first time. His obsidian eyes were taking in her figure slowly as he was smiling happily for the first time after they had met.
It took Emily’s breath away.
“You will be the mother of my children and you will be my anchor now and forever,” Ian whispered to her as Emily was angling her neck for his easy access.
“Yes,”
“You will be my wife, Emily Hassildor, my only wife, and I will be your only husband,” he said, as Emily was feeling his lips on her neck. Emily smiled before she felt the slight pain as Ian was punching his teeth into the same spot that he was sucking earlier.
Emily was turned on again and again as she was moving her pelvis to Ian’s hardness. He growled before he was spreading Emily and then aligned his cock in front of her core.
“You belong to me, Emily, and only me. I love you, my marchioness,” Ian said before he slammed into her core as Emily gasped. It was more intense than before as she was gripping his hair. Ian was kissing her shoulder blades before she was moving with the rhythm of her husband. The familiar sensation was coming into her toes before it moved to her stomach. Ian was moving in and out of her core as she was pushing his buttocks for deeper penetration before Ian was grunting on top of her.
“Come for me, Emily, my love,” he gasped as Emily was gripping his hair again and kissed his lips. He was groaning before he jerked hard on top of her as Ian was spewing his hot seed into her womb.
Emily smiled as she hoped that there would be their child later on, but it would be okay to wait for a while. Besides, Ian did say they would be forever for eternity now.
“I love you, Emily Hassildor,” Ian said after his breathing returned to normal. Emily smiled dreamily at her husband.
“And I love you, Marquis of Kain, Dorian Hassildor, my husband, my love, my life,” Emily whispered as Ian chuckled.
“That was a long description.”
“Only for you, my lord,” she said. Ian smirked before they sealed it with a kiss, a promise that they would be together and nothing could stop them.
