Chapter 59

Viper

I was watching Sabine and Ice dance while I was talking with Merigold to make sure everything was ready for me to claim Sabine. Merigold assured me it was done but I was only half paying attention. I was watching Ice. I knew he was up to something. I could see it written all over his face. They were just talking and laughing. Sabine had no clue Ice was flirting with her. To her this was another day with Ice. I saw when he was going to make his move. As soon as he put his hands on my wife’s face I was on the move. Poor Sabine was frozen. She didn’t respond to him at all for a few seconds. Just as I reached them Sabine pushed Ice away and slapped him hard across the face. I was proud of her.

I see Rocket and Casper coming from behind Ice. I didn’t want to fight them, especially Rocket but I will if they get in my way. Sabine is screaming at the top of her lungs “ What the fuck Ice?” That is what I want to know. But I’m not waiting for an answer. I dive just as Rocket grabs Sabine. Rocket knew what was going to happen and got Sabine safely out of the way. My first punch I landed on Ice’s eye. I was far from done. My next punch headed right for his mouth. How dare those lips touch Sabine’s. Her lips are only for me. Ice landed a blow to my jaw. I got in two more before we were pulled apart. One in the jaw and the other in the stomach. Tank and Rowdy pulled me back. Casper and Stone had Ice.

“ What the fuck do you think you are doing coming into my club and kissing me wife.” I yelled. “ Viper, I swear I didn’t want him to do that.” Sabine cried. I looked over at her and she looked like she was close to tears. Rocket has her arms around Sabine’s waist pressed against her chest. “ Baby, I know. It was all Ice. He has been after you for months.” Sabine shakes her head “ No that’s not true.” She turns to Ice “ Tell him. Ice, tell him it isn’t true.” “ I can’t, Pixie.” Ice said as he wiped blood from his lip.. Sabine’s jaw drops “ What?” Can she really not believe it? I take a good look at her face and see she can’t believe him. “ What do you mean you can’t? I don’t understand.” she asks.

“ I can’t tell him it isn’t true because it is. I have been after you.” Ice said. “ But I’m married to Viper and have been for months. You know that. I would never cheat on Viper.” Sabine said. “ I’m not asking you to cheat on him. I want you to dump his ass. This would have been so much easier if he had just signed the divorce papers in the first place.” Ice said. After Ice said that Casper and Stone let go of him and stepped back shaking their heads. Tank and Rowdy let me go and stand at my side. “ I want you to pick me, Pixie.” Ice said. “ But I’m married.” Sabine stressed.

“ Really, I don’t see a ring on your finger. He hasn’t claimed you. You aren’t wearing his kutte or his mark. Viper doesn’t deserve you. He has cheated on you.” Ice said. So he had some valid points and he was right I didn’t deserve her but like hell was I going to give her up. “ So what. What does any of that have to do with you? You chase anything that opens her legs. I bet every skank here has had several rounds with you. You never looked at me more than a sister. So I still don’t get it. Why are you doing this now.” Sabine asked.

“ Because that fucker doesn’t deserve you. I see the look on your face when you see the other ol’e ladies with their kuttes. I know how sad it makes you. Sabine, sweetheart I would have marked you the next day. You would have had my kutte on within a week. What is he waiting on? If Viper is that committed to you, why is he just now introducing you to his club?” I ce said. “ What Viper and I do in our relationship is none of your business. Viper has his reasons. I know it.” Sabine said, defending me. But I could see the doubt in her eyes. Her words said one thing but her heart was telling her another.

Ice stood in front of Sabine and got on his knees. “ Sabine, look at me. What good reason could he have? You have to know this. I can love you better than he can. I can love you the way you deserve to be loved. You have known me most of your life. I know your likes. I know your dislikes. I know when you are in pain, or sad. I know how to make you laugh. I held you while you cried your eyes out when Viper abandoned you making you think you were unlovable. Choose me Sabine and I will spend the rest of my life treating you like the queen you deserve.” Ice begged. “ I will take you to get my mark tomorrow so you will never doubt my love for you. And that I belong to you.” he continued.

Merigold slips beside me watching what is going on. “ Viper, you need to act now. Before Ice can lay any more doubt on Sabine.” she said, placing a kutte in my hand. I go to Sabine and hold out my hand. I need her to come to me willingly. She didn’t even think about it. She took my hand and I pulled her out of Rocket’s arms into mine. Rocket saw what was in my other hand and smiled. “ Ice, you are right I have known you my whole life. So you have had plenty of time from the time I turned eighteen. Yet you never said a word. Just whored around. I know you aren’t capable of settling down right now. You are in front of me declaring your love for me while reeking of skank perfume and a lipstick stain on your zipper. Whatever Viper’s reasons are for not marking me yet is for me and him to worry about. And I’m not worried. I love him. And have since the moment we met. That is all that matters to me. The rest will work itself out.” Sabine said.

My wife has such faith in me. And she saw through Ice. Did he really think she wouldn’t notice the lipstick? She notices everything. I turned Sabine so she was looking in my eyes and could see how serious I am.“ Baby, there was a reason I brought you to the club tonight. I wanted you to formally meet my family. Your family.” I said and waved my arms around the club. “ All of these people are your family now if you accept. You are my wife and I love you more than anything. More than my club. More than my bike.” I said. “ As it should be.” shouted Ace, causing Sabine to laugh.

“ But I want you to be more than my wife. Ice is right. I should have done this long ago. I want you to be my ol’e lady. I want my mark on you and you wearing my kutte. Not Rocket’s and not for damn sure wearing Ice’s.” I said. I was about to show her how serious I was when Sabine placed her hands on mine. “ Viper, stop.” she said. What? Does she not want to be my ol’e lady? Did I read her wrong? “ Baby?” I asked. “ It is sweet that you want to do this now. But I don’t want you doing it because of what Ice said. I meant it. I can wait until you are ready. You have your reasons for waiting and I respect that.” Sabine said, but she looked so sad as she said. Did she think I was doing this because Ice was forcing my hand. Fuck no.

“ Baby stop.” I said. She looked shocked but she stopped talking. I heard Rocket whisper “ That’s all it takes?” That had several Devils and Nixon chuckling. I had to hold one back myself. “ I’m not doing this because of what Ice did. Or because you think I’m being pushed. I had a whole night planned out.” I said. I hold the kutte out for her to see. The patch on it is the same as the tattoo Merigold designed. Sabine gasps and covers her mouth with her hands. “ I had this made for tonight. Baby, I’m saying this in front of my club and yours. I want to put my kutte on you and claim you as my ol’e lady if you will have me.”

Sabine looks at the kutte then back at me. I can see tears in her eyes. I just hope they are happy tears. She pulls her hands away from her mouth and I see her smiling. “ Really?” she asks. Is she kidding me right now? “ Baby, nothing would make me happier.” I said. Well, almost nothing. Seeing her belly big with my baby would top this moment but I’m not telling her that right now. “ So will you have me?” I asked. The next second Sabine jumps at me. I had to drop the kutte to catch her. Sabine wraps her arms and legs around me like a spider monkey. She slams her lips on mine in a crushing kiss, shoving her tongue in my mouth. I kiss her back with as much ferocity as she kissed me. We don’t pull back until I hear Nixon call out “ Come on man, that is my sister you are molesting.”

While the others laugh I look Sabine in the eyes. She still hasn’t answered. “ Is that a yes?” I asked. The smile on her face lights up the room. “ Yes. A million times, yes. I will be your ol’e lady.” she practically shouts. The bar erupts in cheers but the only thing I care about is the woman in my arms. I help her down to the floor to grab the kutte. But Rocket handed it to me and winked. “ Here baby. Let’s get this on you.” I said. Sabine held out her arms for me to slide it on. Once it is on I have to admire it. “ Does it look alright?” Sabine asked, a little nervously. “ Alright? No, baby it looks perfect. Just like you.” I said.

I want to spend the rest of the night celebrating but there was one more thing I needed to do. “ Ice, if you ever touch my ol’e lady again I’ll break your face. I’m not going to kill you because it would hurt Sabine. But don’t push me.” I said. Then I took my girl to enjoy my club. The rest of the night was a blur or congratulations and hugs. From both clubs. Ice being the exception. He took off with a skank five minutes after I warned him. So much for professing his love for Sabine. What an ass.
