Chapter 70

Pixie

The wedding went off better than I could have hoped. Yes, it was simple but I didn’t need anything more than my family and my husband. I wasn’t even worried when Casper and Thor were going to perform the ceremony. I mean how bad could they fuck it up? It was different, sure but I loved every second of it. When Rocket announced it was time to party everyone got up and helped move the chairs off to the side of the yard where we had tables set up. As we were moving chairs people stopped to hug us or welcome me to the family. Or to remind Viper not to fuck up. I thought that was funny. I was putting a chair down when I heard “ Do I get to hug and congratulate my little pixie?” I turn around to see my Uncle Rich standing there.

I squealed and jumped at him. He picked me up in his strong arms and hugged me tight. “ I’m so glad you came.” I told him. He kissed my cheek “ I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.” “ You aren’t trying to steal my woman, are you?” Viper said jokingly. “ Nope, just congratulating my niece. I thought Viper’s eyes were going to pop out of his head, they got so big. “ Your niece?” Viper asked. Uncle Rich explained how he was Karen’s brother. “ I have to say Viper, this is one set of divorce papers I’m happy never got signed.” Uncle Rich said, holding out his hand to Viper. “ Welcome to the family.” he continued. I knew Viper was at odds because of Karen. Viper, being the good man he is, didn’t let Karen’s action dictate how he felt about everyone else and Uncle Rich was welcoming him with open arms.

The chairs are all put away now and the kids are running around having a blast. The D.J. was playing music loud enough for us to hear but not loud enough we have to shout to have a conversation. Viper stayed by my side most of the time. We were about to grab something to eat before we do the father daughter dance and first dance as husband and wife when Ratchet and Matt came over with an adorable little girl in Matt’s arms. I sign carefully to Ratchet “ Who is cutey?” Ratchet puffs out his chest and signs as Matt translates “ This is our daughter Erin. We finally finished the adoption process. As of two days ago she is officially ours.” I squeal and jump up and down. I hug Ratchet first then carefully hug Matt.

“ Wow, that’s great.” I said making grabby hands towards Erin. “ Can I hold my new niece?” Matt turns Erin towards me and Viper “ Erin, meet Uncle Viper and Aunty Sabine.” She waves her little hand and smiles “ Hi.” “ Erin, can I hold you?” I ask. She doesn’t say a word, just holds her arms out to me. I grab her and place her on my hip looking her over. I can feel my eyes getting misty. “ Matt, Ratchet, she is perfect.” I said. I hold for a few minutes talking with Viper Ratchet and Matt before I hand her back to her dads. Just as I do we get called out to do our first dance. We didn’t have this at our last wedding and wanted to make sure I got it this time.

And I figure now would be a good time to give Viper my surprise. We danced for a minute, Viper holding me close. I can hear the clicking of cameras but I just focus on Viper. “ Viper, I was thinking that I would cut down on my training for a little while. I would still teach though.” I said. Viper looks down at me. “ Baby, I will support you in anything. You know that. But you love competing so I don’t understand.” he said. I hope he will in a second. I took one of his hands from my waist and placed it over my stomach keeping my hand on top of his. “ I don’t think as I get bigger it will be safe for us.” I said. Viper looks at the placement of our hands. “ What? Wait, are you telling me? Are you pregnant?” he asked. I smile and nod. I wanted to laugh at the look on his face while he processed everything. “ When? How?” he asked. When he asked how I lost it and started giggling. “ You see when a sexy husband fucks his wife so hard she can’t think straight.” I laughed “ Really? Are you really pregnant? When did you find out?” he asked.

“ When I went for my check yesterday. Ryans confirmed it. Yes, I really am pregnant. Two months along.” I said. I didn’t get a chance to say anything else because Viper picked me up and spun me around saying “ Thank you.” over and over. “ Viper, put me down. You are making me dizzy.” I said. Sadly it was true. I was getting dizzy. I can normally spin faster than that but not today. Viper places me on my feet so gingerly you would think I was made of fine china. “ Baby, I’m so sorry. Are you okay? Do you need to sit down? Do you want some water?” he asked. “ I’m fine. I promise. I take it you are happy.” I said.

“ Are you fucking kidding me? Happy? I’m ecstatic. I’m over the moon. I want to shout it from the roof. I want to spray paint it on the clubhouse wall.” He said. getting louder and louder. I noticed everyone was looking at us curious as to what was going on. It gives me an idea. “ Then do it.” I said. Viper looks at me wondering what I am talking about. “ Shout it out if you want to.” I said. Viper smiles, tilts his head back and yells so loud that I’m sure people three streets over heard it, “ I’m going to be a father!” I laugh again. When our guest realizes what he said we are surrounded.

The ol’e ladies shouted “ We are going to be aunties again.” Casper pulled Viper in a bro hug then grabbed me. He hugged me for a minute before he pulled back. It was then I noticed tears in his eyes he wasn’t even trying to hide. “ Dax?” I asked, worried. “ They are happy tears. First I get to help my baby sister get married and now I find out I’m going to be an uncle.” he said. That got me tearing up. Damn hormones. I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him tight. “ One of the best damn uncles. I love you so much Dax. Thank you for being my brother.” I said.

We were interrupted with “ Hey, quit hogging our sister.” I let go of Casper to hug Nixon who told me congrats. Then it was my dad “ My baby girl is making me a grandpa.” I laughed. I saw Axel smack Viper on the shoulder “ Congrats, brother. I knew you had it in you.” Oh lord. These guys. Viper beat the shit out of Axel and Rowdy when they got Merigold pregnant and now they are bonding because Viper got me pregnant. Different circumstances I know but still.

When both clubs finished congratulating us I grabbed Vipers kutte and pulled him close. “ Yes, baby?” he asks. “ Now that everyone is leaving us alone. FEED ME.” I growl. He springs into action. He grabs my hand and pulls me to a table that Lilly and Tank are sitting at with their kids. “ Sit baby. I’ll go grab you something.” Viper said and before I can say a single word or protest he is gone leaving me to shake my head. Tank is laughing while he stops Lita from trying to feed Harley a chicken nugget. I have to give it up to the dog. He may have his head on her leg but he never moved like he was going to take her food. Lita was trying to shove it in his mouth.

“ I don’t think I have ever seen him run so fast before.” Tank said. Lilly has a sad smile on her face. “ I have but it wasn’t for a good reason. I’m happy he has a good one now.” she said. I have been around the club long enough and know all the stories by now. Compared to what some of these girls went through I got off light. I placed my hand on top of Lilly’s and said “ Only happy memories from now on.” Lilly nodded and smiled. All the bad stuff was behind all of us. It was time to leave it there.

Viper came back with three plates overflowing with food and placed two in front of me before he sat down with his food. “ Viper, are you expecting more people?” I asked. “ No, why?” he asked like I asked the stupidest thing in the world. “ Because I can’t eat all of this.” I said point to the mountain of food. He brought chicken nuggets, three types of chicken wings, pigs-in -a- blanket, and a cheeseburger on one plate. The other had fruits, veggies, cheese and crackers. “ Just eat what you can. You are eating for two. Or possibly three. You need to keep up your strength. And we still have our wedding night.” he said. I know he was keeping it clean for the kids but one thing he said stuck out.

“ Three?” I squeaked. Viper nods like it is no big deal. “ We don’t know if twins run on Merigold’s mom’s side or my dad’s.” he says. I never thought twins could be a possibility. Wow. I kept trying to picture myself carrying twins and couldn’t. Viper places his hand on mine. “ Baby, we will worry about if we have something to worry about. It is our wedding day. Eat, enjoy the music, we will dance, and spend time with our family.” he said. He was right. Why invite trouble when we don’t need to. So we spent the rest of the night enjoying ourselves and our family.
