Episode 19

"And you aren't afraid? Do you know what would happen to you? " One of the friends asked, with a raised brow,

"Take me in!" I shouted in frustration; my time was running out and they were busy asking annoying questions.

I badly need to see him today, even if I'll be killed thereafter.

I bit my lower lip and turned back to the gate. I pushed it, wishing it was going to open like magic, but there was no single movement. I hissed and rested my head there. I shut my eyes in exasperation. Lena was also glum.

I think Dad and the Warriors might be back now, and they won't find me. The worst part was that I didn't even get to see him. I would still be punished. That was absolutely a waste of time and suffering.

"Are you looking for someone inside there?" I heard a girlish voice, and I turned quickly only to see a student of my age. She was dressed in her school uniform and had two men at her side. My eyes moved over her whole body, then to the car beside her...

"I asked you a question!" She howled, making me flinch as I was already lost.

"Erm, yes, I..."

"She is here for something evil!" I heard those men chip in and felt like eating their heads.

"It's a lie!" I yelled.

"She said it herself and urged us to take her in and report her to the school authorities. That is strange. We've called the security men who will take her away! " They added, with a serious tone, making me sneer at them.

"Is it true you came to harm this school? I don't see you as someone that can hurt a fly. You even look malnourished and thin, like someone who doesn't eat. Your fingers are scraggly. How do you intend to harm this school? " She asked, with her tone having that aura of authority.

She sounded so bossy that I wondered who she was. Her appearance showed she was very rich. I couldn't help admiring those golden hairs that flowed down to her back. Her lips were so pink. There was a difference in her uniform. It was specially made.

Everything about her was so distinct and rich that I wished I could be her, but everyone, including myself, knows it's impossible. I'm destined to be the rejected and maltreated one.

"I was only joking when I said it to them. I just couldn't find any other word to use.. " I swallowed hard and looked into her face, making her eyes dilate.

"Please take me in. I need to see someone." I coaxed and knelt immediately.

My heart was already bleeding. I wouldn't be spared when I got back. This was the first time I left the house after being bound. My dad banned me from leaving the Royal Pack house, yet I left.

I had succeeded in leaving, having in mind that I'd get a painful punishment, but it would be more painful and heartbreaking if I couldn't still meet him. The reason I broke the rule,

"You have strange eyes, but it is beautiful. You look special with that. " The female student said with a smile, and I felt my heart leap, like this was the first time I'd ever heard this from someone,

Was she trying to tease me or what? Is it beautiful?

I raised my gaze to her face and she smiled more widely.

"Who do you want to see?" she asked, and my head got blank. Just then, I found out I didn't know his name.

"My sister..." I replied after some seconds.

"Really?"..your sister is in this school? Why aren't you also a student here? " She asked, with concern.

"Please, I'll tell you all that later. Just take me in, I beg.

"Alright, hop into the car," she said, and my face was full of smiles.

"Thank you," I muttered, feeling giddy, like I was getting into a car for the first time. It was my first time, and I wished it was going to be a long drive.

The gate opened automatically as the car got nearer.

"My name is Sophia. What about you? " She asked, and I shuddered to flutter my eyes.

"I'm...I am..."

"You don't want to tell me?" She asked, and I nodded.

"Okay, I'll just call you my friend then. My mother owns this school, and I just felt attracted to you, as you entice me, especially those eyes of yours. It's rare! " She admired me, leaving me laughing.

I muttered, "You are the first to say this," and she smiled,

"What is the name of your sister?" She asked as the car finally stopped inside the school garage but a separate corner which was assigned for her car only,

The door was opened by the men in black who were her guards. They even opened the door for me, making my cheeks blush as I felt like a queen. Lena was just jumping and squeaking like a lunatic.

"Aren't you also telling me your sister's name? I need to."

I couldn't hear anything else she said as I quickly shifted to my wolf and flew away like a whirlwind. My wolf has an extreme speed that goes like the wind, and I needed to get away from her or I'd regret staying for so long.

I ran without thinking, just following my instinct. I passed through many classrooms, hearing the students' voices. It was school period, so no one was outside, so I was going to find a place to stay and wait for my mate. He'd soon go on break, and I'm confident I'd find him.

I smiled at that thought and shifted back to my human form after getting to the school garden, which I could swear was the best place to stay in life. I don't mind taking this as my home. It was so comfortable with the sweet fragrance of the flowers.

I lay here staring up at the trees. The sound of birds chirping and the woods filling my heart with joy. I couldn't help but feel sleepy. The breeze was sending cool sensations all over my body.

I couldn't help the huge smile that covered my face as my eyes closed slowly. I didn't know when or how it happened, but I slept off...

Don't blame me; I haven't felt this kind of sweetness before.
