Is this you? " I mumbled to myself, feeling my whole body shiver at just her stare. Her eyes were piercing into mine, and I couldn't help walking closer to get a clearer view of this angel who had struck my heart with sudden love at first sight.

I muttered her name under my breath, and she couldn't move or make any movement. All she did was stare at me. I could see pure emotions in those eyes. I could see it shimmering as she would cry.

I walked closer, filling the gap between us, yet she wouldn't move.

I got to where she sat, and she gasped.

"What is your name?" She asked, and my heart twitched at that tiny voice. It was making my heart throb. Kane, my wolf, was leaping and squealing in joy. He felt this was his mate, but I couldn't tell myself.

I still don't want to believe Dad lied to me about not having a mate, and even if she is my mate, it would be almost impossible to work.

"My name is Jason. What are you doing here?" ...you aren't schooling here. How did you get into this place?" I asked softly, holding her chin tenderly while she rested it more. Her tears fell into my palm and she sniffed.

I can't believe I'm here with you now. Don't you feel the connection? "Jason, you are my mate, but do you love me?" "Do you reject me like others? Am I also evil in your eyes?" She kept asking, her voice cracking. I could sense pain in that voice. She was really in pain deep in her heart. Everyone must have been hating her all her life.

That was why Scarlett blurted those awful words about her to me.

"You are the daughter of Darren Wolve. Why are you being treated this way?" I asked, feeling my heart grow heavy.

"Don't you know? So does that mean you don't hate me? Everyone has been hating me, and they told me my mate was going to reject me. Is it true? Are you going to reject me? " She asked and broke down in tears.

I rested her head on my chest, feeling the strong connection and sweet sensation from the touch. Her body resting on mine made shivers run through my spine. I wished to be that way forever. It was the best feeling.

"Elena, I'm your alpha and you are my Luna." I cooed, and she quickly broke the hug and stared into my eyes. Her mouth was agape and I could see happiness in those pairs of eyes.

"You don't hate me?" "Do you accept me?" She shrieked, shedding tears of joy.

I feel complete right now. I don't want to leave your presence. I want you to follow me back home. I want to mark you and make you mine forever. I want to marry you!" I poured out as the connection got so strong.

She laughed and held my hand softly. I rested my gaze on her face, as if it was just so beautiful, and her smile enchanted me.

I think this might be the first and last time we will be together. It pains me. I also want all that. I swear, the joy in my heart is making me go giddy, like I'm crazy. Having you this close makes me feel like I'm dreaming. Is it real??" She chirped and laughed again.

Those laughs made me laugh and love her more. It was like a sweet melody in my heart.

"Elena, why do they hate you? You are the most beautiful girl on earth!" I confessed, and she giggled.

Don't you see my eyes? I think you should be afraid and also term me a demon like those I called my family. Don't you also think I'm a demon spy? She asked, raising her eyebrows. It also did well in making her more beautiful.

"Who is a demon spy??...You?...I swear, your father and everyone who believes that is dumb and stupid. Your eyes are not the demon type. You grew that way and I must confess, you are sexy with it. "I cooed, and she blushed.

"You know my sister Scarlett?" She asked, and I nodded.

"Is she in the class?" She asked, with fear in her eyes.

"You are afraid of her?" I asked, and she sighed.

"If she sees me here, then I'm doomed. She will report me to my father, and that would mean another round of torture. Thank you for loving me as I was afraid of the pain of rejection from my mate. I thought everyone would always hate me. Thank you, Jason. I also love you more, " she purred, and my mouth went agape as I was stunned to hear those words from her.

I felt a sweet sensation rush through my spine as I just stared at her as she flashed that smile. Those words got deep into my heart, and I couldn't help smiling. It has been a long time since I smiled. I was even thinking I couldn't smile again.

"Elena, you are making me smile so hard and so easily. I swear it has been so long since I smiled. There had been no reason to smile for many years in my life, but you just changed all that. I feel so great now!" I shouted in joy while she laughed, punching my chest softly.

We paused and looked into each other's eyes. Our smiles were so wide and I could hear our heartthrob. I was holding her soft palm and the feelings were getting stronger and the urge to mark her increased.

Just then, her smile vanished. It was replaced with a deep frown, which later turned into one of fear. I arched my brow and was about to ask her why when she shifted into a white wolf and vanished into the thin air.

Her speed was like wind, and I couldn't even see her movement clearly. A second later, there was a part of her fur that fell on the ground, and I picked it up quickly.

"But why did she run away?" I asked myself, and just then I heard a footstep behind me, making me turn immediately.

"Jason, why are you kneeling here?" I can hear the scent of a wolf. You were talking to someone." Scarlett, who had just stepped in, asked, making me hiss and stand to my feet. She shifted her gaze to my hand and saw the white fur.

"Is that her fur?" She inquired, frowning deeply.

"It's none of your business. You have no right to ask me anything. Why did you come here?" I growled, feeling so angry.

I just found out she was the reason why Elena left. She must have sensed her coming and sped off. All the joy in my heart vanished with her. I couldn't smile anymore, I couldn't be happy at all, and seeing Scarlett could only make me wish I could kill her.

I swear, if she was another girl and not the daughter of an alpha like Daren, I'd strangle her and there is nothing anyone can do!!

"Go to hell!" I howled at her, walking away with a disgusted look.

Jason, who is she? You don't have a mate, nor do you flirt with women. You don't even have a heart for love and are always stern. Who then made you kneel and talk to her? You are also treating her fur like it is gold!" She yelled from behind while I hissed and moved away. I wish she would know how I hate her.

I'm not used to hitting women, but I think I will hit her someday if she keeps being a thorn in my flesh!

"That is Elena, right?" She inquired, making my heart skip a beat as I realised Elena will be in trouble if she finds out she was the one.
