Chapter 65

"Do you know me?" He asked, and I squinted my eyes trying to figure out what must have happened. His expression showed I was right, but then, what is he doing here?
This can't be the Silver Moon Pack. It can't be this peaceful when Elf has turned into a demon.

"Woman, who are you and what are you here for?" ... What do you know about Elf or him? " The lady sitting beside Elf's son asked with a frown.

Is your mother in the Silver Moon pack? "Who is she there and..are you aware she sold her soul to the demons?" I asked, and he sighed, looking down to the ground.

"Hey, I'm yet to know who you are and you kept spitting those words. Do you think you can come into this pack anyhow?" The Alpha growled.

I'm a dragon who was sent out of the clan. I was chased out because I have a secret which the Beta doesn't want the Alpha to hear, and that truth is about Lillian, the first Luna of the Silver Moon Pack!" I breathed.

"You mean the mother of Elena?" The son of Elf asked abruptly.

I replied, "Yes," and his eyes widened with interest.

"What do you have to say? Are you here to tell us how Elena killed her in childbirth? Everyone knows that her daughter is a demon and killed her mother from birth with a very painful labor. What else do you have to say?" The Alpha huffed.

"Was that what everyone believed?" I asked with a furrowed brow,

"It is all lies, right?" Elf's son asked sharply.

"Bloody, filthy lies! ...what is your name? " I asked him.

"Dorian," he replied.

"Is your mother living in the Silver Moon Pack?" I asked.

"She is the second Luna to Alpha Darren!" He answered, and I sprang up in shock.

"Are you joking with me or what?" ...that bloody demon who killed Lillian is his second Luna? " I asked, with my eyes widened.

"She killed who?" Dorian asked, and I covered my mouth to muffle my scream, causing tears to well up in my eyes. Elf was made the Luna, which means only one thing: she would destroy that pack!!

That is the only reason she manipulated the mate bond.

Oh gosh!

"Why are you this shocked and what did I hear you say?" ...my mother was the killer of Lillian? Dorian questioned.

"What are you saying? She never knew Elf before her death. She was never attacked all the while she lived with Alpha Darren. When the hell did Elf kill her? You sound stupid! " The Luna asked, with confusion all over her face.

"I am a good friend of Darren's. I know all that happened. Stop saying all this. It's wrong!" My heart shattered even more as the Alpha added

I had no idea Elf could be so crafty and cunning as to deceive everyone.

"But Dad, when I went to save Dorian, Elf ordered some people to kill Dorian. We were lucky to have left before they got in!" The lady beside Dorian chipped in.

"Yes, I believe she is evil. My mother is a demon!" Dorian huffed.

"So you believe she was the one who killed Lillian?" The Luna asked with an arched brow.

"I don't have any choice but to believe that if she could want me dead, what couldn't she do? ...that woman is something else which we don't know. " He growled, clenching his fist.

Even if we should believe she is evil, I can't believe she killed Lillian because they had no relationship; they didn't even see each other!" The Alpha shrugged.

They were good friends in a pack until love decided to break it. They both fall for one man, and that man is King Bane. The enmity became dangerous when Bane chose Lillian over her....."

Without excluding any part, I explained the whole thing to them.

"Who are you and how did you know all this?" The Alpha asked.

"You mean Elena is the daughter of King Bane, and my mother fought Lillian in the spirit while she was heavily pregnant, making it seem like a painful labor?" The girl beside Dorian asked, and I nodded.

"What is your name?" I asked her.

"Sophia," she answered.

"Do you know Elena and what is your relationship with Dorian?" I asked.

"I have only met Elena twice. One was in the school. There she tried sneaking into the school but was restricted. I helped her in and she snuck out of my car and ran into the school. Secondly, I met her when the war broke out between the Silver Moon Pack and the Red Moon Pack. She refused to follow us here but went back to fight for her pack..." Sophia explained.

I furrowed my brow at the war.

"You mean there was war in the Silver Moon Pack?" I asked.

She nodded.

"Is Elena still in that pack? Please, can someone take me there? I want to take care of her for King Bane," I muffled.

"Let's go back to my pack. It must be in ruins now! Elf had blinded us all; she must have really destroyed the pack! Now I realize it was all planned by her; she knew I was the heir and wanted me dead, but now I will fight and bring her down!!!" Dorian howled, springing up from the chair, his eyes bloodshot.

I could see how enraged he looked.

You should calm down because you don't know who Elf is. Her power is one of the greatest, just like that of the Demon King. I saw her today, and I swear the Demon scent she got is the strongest I've ever smelled. I couldn't even move an inch. She has a lot of dark powers and magic in her...." I sighed.

"I don't care!" I don't fucking care! ... I have been stupid. Dad had been stupid and foolish. Elena told us all of this, but no one believed her; instead, she was tortured even more for referring to the Luna as a demon; who knows what will happen to her now that Elf has those abilities?.. I can't stay and watch my pack get ruined! " He snorted and dashed out before anyone could see him.

I followed him immediately and caught hold of him when he got out of the pack.

Listen to me. If you act rashly, I swear you won't live to tell your story. You are the heir, and what makes you think Elf would give you a single chance to live? She would kill you at sight! I yelled at him.

"Let me be!!! I have to go there and fight to my death; I can't sit back! ... Elf can't succeed in shattering my pack! " He shouted back, trying to wriggle off my grip.

"Is it because she has always been soft and has made you unable to understand what I meant when I said she is very powerful? I swear, she would turn you to ashes!" I screamed at him, but he just waved his head, sniffing back his tears.

Don't try to stop me. My heart is broken and I'm deeply pained. Who knows what she would be doing to me now? ...who knows the fate of my pack? I can't rest for a second. Being alive while watching her rule my pack is worse than death! " He shrieked, with deep pain in his tone.

I know, I'm here to save Elena for my madam, Lillian. She was killed by Elf and I can't also let Elena die. I would have gone to the Silver Moon Pack if I had known the path. We have to calm down and plan, or we will end up giving up our lives for nothing. I coaxed and I gritted his teeth. He fell to the ground.

He sat there on the ground and buried his face in his palm, sobbing.

"Dorian!" Sophia called out, running forward. She got to where he sat and also sat with him, wrapping her arm around his back and patting him with soothing words.

I watched the two lovers, and it made me recall the past, those sweet moments Bane shared with Lillian. Their relationship was full of love. They cared for each other so much that anyone who saw them was surely going to envy them.

King Bane would be devastated to learn that his lover had died and that the murderer was Elf. He was about to unleash his wrath on her, but it wouldn't bring my madam, Lillian, back to life.
