Episode 25

I turned sharply at my dad, who had a worried expression. Everyone had a puzzled look on their faces. This was the last thing anyone expected. I couldn't just believe it was true, like that was really the voice of my father?

I fluttered my eyes waiting for what he had to say, because I'm sure he doesn't see me as his daughter anymore.

"Alpha, what did you say?" He was the first to ask the question, as he was stunned so badly. He had expected the alpha to volunteer to hit me himself. He had thought he would whip me himself but was shocked to hear him save me instead.

"Not only had she left the house without anyone knowing, thereby breaking his order, but she had also called the Luna a demon... Alpha Daren, what is going on? " He pressed on, feeling angry and exasperated.

I could only stare without saying a word.

Elf made a short laugh and walked close to Dad. There was pure rage in her eyes.

"What do you mean by calling her your daughter and... you just saved her from being punished even after she called me a demon?' She asked, raising her eyebrows.

Dad walked closer to me and stared into my face as if he had never seen me before.

"What did you just do now?" ... What trick or magic did you use?" He asked and left me surprised. I arched my brow with a questioning look.

He pulled away and looked around, letting out a scoff.

"Take her to her room and lock that door. It should be opened only when she got to eat, and it would be once a day. Never again should you allow her to step out ever again!" He ordered, and the guards dragged me away before I could even make a sound.

Darren's POV

"I heard the voice of my wife instead of her voice!" I said, leaving everyone confused.

"What nonsense are you saying?" "That evil girl should be punished!" Elf cried out, and I glanced at her. For some moments, I felt nothing. I felt no remorse for her tears, and it was just like I hated her. I swear, it was so shocking to me that I shut my eyes and took a deep breath.

How did it happen? ...everyone heard her voice, but I heard the voice of Lilian, my first mate, instead. That had weakened me and made me say those words. I couldn't help but call her my daughter.

"Daren, what is wrong with you?" Elf shrieked, grabbing my hand.

"You heard what I just said, right? She used a trick on me and I guess it worked; she changed her voice and I had to save her from thinking it was real; I never knew it was an illusion! " I said with a growl, and they all sighed in relief.

"I was scared. I thought you'd been struck by her evil spell, " the Beta laughed.

"That girl is so evil!" can't believe she could use such magic!" The gamma added

"She got it from where she went to this morning when we all went for the war. I'm sure she visited her demon clan. I can feel the aura!" Elf huffed with contempt.

"But why did she return after that visit?" I asked,

"She is yet to complete her mission. They won't accept her back till she is done!" Elf replied strongly.

"How were you able to know all this?" I asked doubtfully. Seriously, I can't understand myself. I'm just doubting every word she says. I should be furious after hearing Elena call her a demon, but to my dismay, I wasn't. Instead, I could only feel that it was truly like the voice was that of Lillian, and it sounded like a warning that struck my heart...

"I should be going now, please, my head hurts." I breathed, walking away immediately. Just as I passed Elf, the strong scent of a demon rushed into my nostrils, making me pause my pace abruptly.

I looked around immediately with my eyes widened, wondering where the scent had just come from.

"Is there a demon here?" I asked in a low tone. No one heard me except Elf, and she turned sharply at me.

Our eyes jammed, and I felt dizzy. I walked away to avoid falling in front of my subjects. I should go into my room now because I can't just understand what is happening at this moment.

At first, I heard the voice of Lilian instead of Elena. Then, I couldn't believe Elf's words so easily as I used to. I just sensed the scent of a demon passing through my nostrils not long ago, and while it faded almost immediately, I became weakened.
I went into my room right away, slumped on my bed, and fell asleep...

Elf's POV,

"I should go and massage him now. I guess the war stressed him out. I smiled at the beta and gamma, walking out immediately.

I increased my pace till I was running. I couldn't stop. My sweat covered my face, rolling down to my chest. My demon aura was spreading around me. I should be fast or my identity would be blown out and it wasn't time yet. The demon clan had not recuperated enough for the war.

We need more time. I've found out all the easy ways in which we can attack this pack and get it wiped off. It was only a matter of time. Very soon it would be history.

After a minute of running with my speed, I got into my secret chamber, using my powers to make the door visible. I opened it and dashed in.

I quickly took out the box and saw it was shaking profusely. Someone was trying to lose the spell I used on Daren.

What???

I shut my eyes and spurred out powers from my demon spirit. It filled the room and covered the box. Sweat covered my forehead as I struggled to make the spell stronger while the strange power kept trying to break it.

It took me one hour to defeat the unseen force, and when I was done, I got exhausted and slumped on the floor breathing heavily.

At last, I sighed and shut my eyes.

It was a strong battle, yet I couldn't see who I was fighting with. I kept racking my brain to find out who it might be. The person was so strong, I had to use all my strength.

Just then, my mind flashed to what Daren had said.

He just mentioned Lilian. He said he heard her voice. 

Could it be her?

My eyes widened, and I sat up immediately. The powers I fought with seemed familiar, the same as the ones Lilian possessed when she was alive. I once fought with her...

"But she is dead?"... I killed her and sealed her spirit!!"

Then I remembered Elena, oh gosh!!

She might have been her; she used her mother's power...

It was so close as my demon powers' scent was oozing out even when I tried withholding it. How could Lilian try to expose me? She had even tried to break the spell.

"Lilian, you are dead and forgotten! Go to hell! " I screamed with fire in my eyes. It had been hard to kill her, but my demon clan had helped me with powers that made her weak. Lilian is a rare hybrid...

She was so beautiful and had got all she wanted, including the man I loved. He chose her instead of me. You can't tell how heartbroken I was. I couldn't also fight her.

They were in love. He didn't notice me even when I expressed my love for him. The most painful part was that I first met him, I first talked to him, yet he saw her later and forgot me. He hated me instead.

You don't know how it feels, you can't just understand the pain. I had to sell my soul to the devil and become a demon just to have my revenge.

When she found out the length I went to have my revenge, she broke up with him and ran away. There she met Daren, and they married. She used her powers to create a mate bond. She made it so strong that Daren couldn't do anything without her.

I went to Dragon King Bane expecting him to accept me after Lillian left him, but instead he hated me even more and blamed me for his loss.

I cried, but my tears were in vain because Dragon King Bane is the man I fell in love with and lost to Lillian; even now that she is gone, he refuses to accept me.

He is the most powerful king in the world, even if no one knows it. He got the rarest power and every pack wanted to hand their daughter to him, but he wasn't ready to settle for any.

When I made the first attempt and expected him to love me, it would have been better if he had rejected me and Lillian, but instead she captured his heart.

Lillian was my maid since she got no pack and was a rogue.

A secret I knew...

Her meeting with Bane made her more powerful. He trained her and gave her his dragon powers.

I joined the demons and got a dark soul. I later found out that Lillian was pregnant with Bane, and that made me so furious.

I pleaded with the Demon King to empower me with more magic and dark powers so I could fight her.

He did it. I became very powerful with strong magic. With it, I located Lilian in the spirit realm and fought with her for hours.

She was pregnant, and that was the only advantage that enabled me to defeat her. Bane really gave her great powers. She was already married to Daren then.

After the battle, we both disappeared, exhausted and gasping for breath.

I was sure I had given her a heavy blow and multiple internal wounds. I also used many poisons on her...

That was in the past, many years ago. Even after her death, Bane won't accept me, so I am here to destroy this pack which she cherished so much. I want her soul to live in grief forever.

I kept her soul alive but caged, and she can see all I do here but has no power to fight. I want her to see how I destroy everything she loves...
