Chapter 60

"Your wolf would die and you would be weakened forever. You would be a pauper..." She added, laughing softly as she brought the fire closer...
I could already feel my skin smearing. The heat was so terrible that I couldn't scream but gasp.

My eyes shut tightly, my fist clenched and I couldn't tell how I did it, but then, I threw a heavy punch to her face and she flew backwards with great force, hitting her back on the wall.

All the pains I had felt vanished at once. I felt the beast in me open her eyes and great powers surged out through my whole body like a wildfire. I rose from the floor, feeling myself shifting rapidly.

"What is she turning into?" I heard voices around me. My heart hardened as rage filled me. The beast rose, and my powers increased. All my nails turned into long shaped claws, strongly pointed fangs formed, and I also felt something form right behind my back like a pair of wings...

"Attack that demon!" Elf screamed, and I opened my eyes to see the warriors shift into their wolves.

They were ten in number and rushed at me at the same time. My mouth was wide open, and a blue hellish fire erupted from behind me, instantly reducing them to ashes...

A powerful pair of wings like Jason's.

"Another Dragon Wolf?" Elf screamed with her eyes wide open, but I wasn't ready to watch her shock as the anger in me boiled over.

With great speed, I charged at her, ready to devour her into shreds, but just as I got to where she was, she disappeared.

Twenty more warriors rushed in and attacked me with their wolf state, and I tore them with one blow. My eyes went to Dad as he stood transfixed in shock.

"Please don't kill me." He kneeled, immediately seeing the fire in my eyes.

But I wasn't seeing him as my father at that moment. My great anger wouldn't let me.

I gripped his neck tight, making him convulse and struggle for breath.

"You hated me, so I'll kill you!" I growled deeply, tightening my grip. His eyes popped, his tongue rolled out with a clot of blood.

"Don't kill your father!" The voice of Jason sounded loud in my ear, making me slam him against the wall so hard that I could hear his bones crack.

"Elf is gone..." I heard Jason's voice again as he held my hand gently, calming down the anger in me.

Finally, for the first time, I felt the power of the Dragon spread through me and deep into my heart. I felt the dragon spirit right inside me, like my wolf.

"Elena, you are also a dragon wolf?" Jason asked as I shifted back to my human form, falling into his arms.

"I guess so, and this is my first complete shift." I replied with a smile.

Elf's POV.

I fell right outside the pack heavily to the ground as my powers got exhausted from the huge powers I used to disappear suddenly.

I had no choice or I would have died. Her power was the greatest I had ever seen. Much like Bane, she had the same colour as his wings and her voice was the same as his own whenever he wanted to shift.

I couldn't withstand her force, not after I had gotten a broken back due to her thunderous punch.

Fear gripped me as I headed away to the demon clan. My fear was coming to reality. It was becoming real. Lillian had gotten pregnant by Bane. The child she had when we fought was the child of Bane and not Alpha Darren.

My heartbeat was so fast and loud that the fear of losing overtook me; I had never considered this. Elena had been weak. She never showed any dragon power even though she had to resist my attack; I doubted she was this powerful...

Oh no! This is not going to happen!

I was very weak and couldn't run further. Just then, I felt the presence of the demon king.

He took me away immediately...

"Please, I want to destroy that pack!" I cried as he flew to the clan.

"But you should be alright first!" He replied, and I shook my head.

"I could die if that was the only way to destroy it. Lillian would laugh at me..." I whined.

"Why haven't you succeeded all this time?" ...you were too slow! " He grumbled.

"Please do this for me and I'll marry you, I swear!" I shrieked, causing him to pause.

"Really?" He asked, and I nodded, drying the tears in my eyes.

I've always loved you, and marrying you is my greatest dream. I will be the happiest man on Earth to have you as my maiden. I'll help you more to destroy that pack." He gasped, feeling elated.

"Please be fast before she..."

"Don't worry, I know what to do!" He smirked and quickly closed his eyes, spreading his arms wide and causing thick black smoke to fill the air and surround him...

He muttered some words, and the fog whirled off.

"What did you do?" I asked immediately as he took a deep breath.

"I've locked them up in that room!" He said and handed a key to me.

"This is the only key that can open that door. Elena and Jason were yet to leave that room, so I had to lock them up there since we both know they can't be defeated. You can go back and extinct that pack!" He growled with a peal of croaky laughter, to which I joined in.

My injuries healed immediately. He held my hands and transferred his inner energy to my body, making me feel more powerful.

"Thank you so much," I squeaked and hugged him tightly, breaking off almost immediately, preventing him from wrapping his arms around me.

I'll be waiting for your return. Just know I love you so much. I can't wait to have you as my... " I couldn't hear that annoying part as I sped off..

He must be dreaming to think I will ever be his wife.
