Chapter 70

Jake's POV.
I stepped out of my room and headed out of the mansion. I'm going to the Silver Moon Pack this evening. I can't leave a stone unturned. I can't let all my desires get flopped.

I couldn't sleep after learning Bane had a child and hearing from the Silver Moon Pack about someone with the same hybrid powers.

Bane would visit that pack tomorrow. I need to reach there first and find out who that guy is. Who knows, he might be Bane's son? If I ever notice any resemblance between him and Bane or Lillian, I won't let him live.

At high speed, I flashed out to the outside world of the werewolves. Why the hell would King Bane have a child after losing all hope? He was cursed to have no children. I can't believe Lillian broke the curse and got a child for him, meaning I won't be the next heir.

Shit!

I finally got out and traced the pack. It was a long journey, but I never relented. I got there at last but was shocked at what I saw. The pack was almost ruined with demon scent all over the place; the atmosphere was full of dark magic.

It was so hard for me to understand how the Silver Moon Pack turned into the Demons' den. My eyes roamed around as I walked closer and closer, trying to get a clearer view of the inside.

Just then, a strong force gripped me. I tried to release myself but could not go further as the strange scent filled my nostrils and I fainted.

My eyes opened and everywhere was quite blurry, but I could notice a face staring at me. I fluttered my eyes and took a deep breath before opening them again.

"What!!!" I gasped in shock at who I saw in front of me.

Elf??

"Elf!!!." I called out stunningly, and she arched her brow.

"Your face looks familiar, and I've been wondering where I met you and what relationship we had!" She asked.

"I'm Jake, the Beta to King Bane," I introduced, causing her to gulp with wide eyes.

"Yes! I recall!" She snapped her finger, squinting at me.

"Why were you lurking around the pack late at night and the force dragged you in?" "Did King Bane send you on a mission?" She asked, scrutinizing me from head to toe, but I was just so confused.

"Is this the Silver Moon Pack?" I asked, still looking around as I couldn't see the Alpha or his family members. Around me were demons instead of werewolves.

"Reply to my question first!" She huffed, sitting on the chair beside me.

"Elf, are you now a demon?" I asked, peering at her.

"How is King Bane? "Tell me about my lover; that's all my ears are itching to hear," she breathed.

"How did you become a De..."

"Shut up and tell me how Bane is faring!!" She cut me up with a hot slap, which made my lips quiver.

My eyes widened in shock.

"I'm sorry, tell me what I want to hear and I'll reply to yours too," she hissed, still waiting for my reply.

I looked around and felt her scent oozing out. She did just the same with the Demon King, making fear grip me.

"I'm here to find out who the person with Bane's power is," I muttered.

"Why?" she asked.

I disclosed that "a maiden and good friend to Lillian made it known that King Bane has a child, so I want to find out if he is Bane's son."

"Why didn't you want to meet him? So you will take him, thinking Bane, right? " She howled.

"Never! I'm here to kill him if he is Bane's son... I don't want him to have a son, which would kill my chance of being the next Dragon King," I huffed.

Is that why you disturbed my sleep? ..the man isn't Bane's son, his child is Elena. Can you kill her for me? She asked, and I arched my brows.

"Yes, I can!" I squealed, feeling elated.

Elf's POV

"Is King Bane still thinking about Lillian?" I asked with a deep frown.

"Yes, so deep. He is obsessed and doesn't think of any other thing than her, especially now he learns she has a child for him. No one knows if she is dead or not. Is she dead?" He asked.

I smiled and took a ring from my pocket, placing it on my left pinky finger...

"What!!!" He exclaimed as he saw my face change into that of Lillian.

"You look exactly like Lillian!" He shouted in shock.

I pulled it off and got my real face.

Then I'll send you a message. What you have to do is tell King Bane that Lillian is fully alive and waiting to meet him someday... After I destroy this pack, the Demon King will request my hand in marriage. Then I'll send you a message. What you have to do is tell King Bane that Lillian was held captive in the Demon clan. " I repeated while he stared dumbly.

"Did you get me?" I asked loudly, and he nodded slowly.

"You want to use the magic to change your face and have King Bane as you desire?" So it was true, the rumour of a demon who fought with Lillian was true. You are the demon? " He asked, and I scoffed.

"That isn't what you should be saying, man." You are going to work for me to get King Bane to myself. Stop talking about the past; Lillian is a forgotten soul! " I swore.

I'll do as you say. Just let me kill Elena tomorrow." He sighed, and I nodded with a huge smile.

"Oh yes, it's only the dragon's power that can kill her. I'll let you destroy her soul tomorrow. The same day, I'll ruin this pack. Then you will tell the Alpha you saw Lillian in the demon clan held as a slave. I'll have my new face, Lillian. I want him to defeat the demon clan for me!" I smirked.

"But the demon clan helped you get all these powers. Why bite the finger that fed you?" He asked, and I scoffed at his silly words.

"Don't dare disobey or go against all I said to you. I won't hesitate to kill you!" I threatened, and he chuckled.

"How can you kill me that easily?" He asked with a smug look.

"My scorpion is inside you," I said as I moved my eyes. "I couldn't control it with my eyes, and if you ever play any trick, it will sting you to death."

He screamed, and I laughed..

"What was that sharp pain?" He asked with a deep breath.

"My pet in you, be aware...you can go back before King Bane starts looking for you," I said and waved my palm over the air, causing a great force to pull him away.

I walked back to my room feeling on top of the world. Everything was just going perfectly. I'm undefeatable!
