Chapter 115 Lune Brille

(Jacques POV)

I was with Yuri waiting for the helicopter. I had dark sunglasses on to hide my eyes.

"Fang, he's in a cage, passed out. The Doc says it might last for at least 4 hours since he's a wolf. The other men he brought are dead except for his Beta, upon your request. He's in a cage locked up beside your uncle." Alexander had called to inform me my uncle is now locked up in a silver cage. Hope was only suppose to find out about his plans. However, the idiot apparently wanted to abduct her to use as collateral.

"And Hope, how is she?" Hope had asked us to distract Jean Luc with a phone call to tell him the location of the venue. It only took her a slide of hand to switch her glass to his. She then only needed to wait for the drug to take effect.

"She's fine. She's with the girls waiting for the helicopter to transport them to Lune Brille. They'll see you in a bit." Alexander hangs up.

It's time to claim my position as Alpha of my mother's pack. Later I will deal with my uncle and his Beta.

Yuri and I took a short helicopter ride to the airport near the territory. From there we took a car to Lune Brille to enter through the gates while the girls land inside in front of the warehouse. Since we were already seen in the territory with Jean Luc, it won't be a problem entering. Most of Jean Luc's men had accompanied him to Paris.

I was right in my assumption. Jean Luc's Gamma took one look at me and directed me to the warehouse. He told me his Alpha was in Paris and asked me what I needed. I told him I had to inspect a shipment Jean Luc had for us.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what shipment that is. Let's go to the warehouse so we can give Alpha Jean Luc a call to get this straightened out." I nodded my head in agreement. I heard the helicopter. It was about to land.

"Here comes my helicopter." I tell the Gamma. The Gamma yells at the men to steer clear and tells them the helicopter is mine. Yuri smiles and looks at me. It was easier than we thought. For them, they saw an empty helicopter. To us, three young ladies in robes.

"Alpha Jean Luc said it was a shipment of car parts. Are there any car parts in boxes?" I ask The Gamma while walking inside the warehouse so they would follow me. He pointed to a few boxes that were stacked neatly to the side.

"Where are all the men?" I ask. I noticed there was only a small group that stayed behind.

"In Paris with the High Councillor. I am actually surprised you are here. Isn't there a meeting? It was announced by the Caïd himself yesterday."

"That's why I have a helicopter, to transport me to Paris in time for the meeting. But first, I need to claim what is rightfully mine." I took off the sunglasses I had on to show them my eyes.

"Sacré bleu! Jacques! You have been in front of us all this time!" I saw the fangs come out of all the men there upon hearing me name. "Jean Luc will be very happy to hear we killed his nephew although it has been his wish to kill you himself." He started laughing, but stopped when he noticed one by one, the men were being thrown against the walls of the warehouse in every direction. He turned to look at me, his black eyes narrowed into evil slits.

"No worries. I can do it myself." He pounced at me, but I slowed time for him. I grabbed his head and his arm and ripped his head from his body, his blood splattering on my face.

"Let's gather the men and transport them outside in front of the living quarters of the territory." I wiped my face of the blood. I had to be presentable when I make my announcement.  Yuri was already walking in front of me to the outside of the warehouse, dragging one of the men who was unconscious. The other men floated into a straight line and one by one moved to where I instructed. When the other men loyal to my uncle see the men gathered in front of me, they'll come to retaliate.

When everyone from the warehouse was in front of the living area of the territory, I had them all kneel down. Some were already begging me to have mercy on them while others looked on, defiance in their eyes as they looked at me.

Upon seeing the ruckus, some of the members of the pack started to gather around the men. Some had recognized me by my eyes while the others showed fear.

"To all those who do not know me, I am the son of Salome Dupont. My name is Jacques. My mother was the Alpha of Lune Brille, until she died after being poisoned by my uncle Jean Luc. My father Henri, also died from the hands of Jean Luc, however it was ruled out as a suicide."

"My mother was a fair Alpha. She did not deserve to die nor my father. And I as well as the other orphans should have not been used to provide money for the extravagance of my uncle."

"I escaped and was adopted by a caring French woman. She brought me to the United States to start anew. I came back to claim my birthright, unfortunately, my uncle has used this pack for his various criminal activities. Some of you are used to steal for him, sell drugs while the others are made into sex slaves."

"You are no different. You are Beta to Maximus,
the Parrain." One of the men knelt in front of me spits at me. Yuri punches him in the face. The other men growl, holding back their need to retaliate.

"We needed to infiltrate the mafia, to get close to Jean Luc. How do you think Maximus became Parrain? By sheer luck?" I smirk at him.

"All the money you enjoy is tainted. That was not the vision my mother had for this pack. She wanted us to live with honor and peace. The ancestors of this pack had long been in a war with the werebears. She wanted that to end."

"Now, I will give all of you a chance. You can decide to pledge your allegiance to me or deny me. If you pledge your allegiance to me, I promise you, I will be fair. I will provide the pack's needs without living a life of crime or slavery. However, if you do not, I will have to kill you. I do not want to deal with rogues."

The sky dimmed, dark clouds hovered above us with flickers of lightning dancing between them. The crowd of people started to back away except for most of the men. They came forward, some of them, their eyes black, fangs out as well as their claws.

"We will never pledge our loyalty to you. Our loyalty is to Jean Luc alone," one of Jean Luc's men spoke. He was knelt down with the others.

"Come forward," I order him. He scoffs not wanting to follow my command. He floats in the air and is thrown in front of me. The crowd of people gasp. The men who were advancing towards me stopped.

"Stand up so you may die with honor." Thunder rumbled as I said the words and the wind started to pick up. The man stood up, shifted and lunged at me. He froze in midair, his paws up, his mouth open, but could not move. I sneered at him, my eyes dark as Fang took over my human form. The wolf's eyes widen and he started whimpering, begging, as he watched me shift to my bear form, towering above him. I took his mouth in my hands, his upper mandible in one hand, the lower in the other, and I tore open his head. The wolf fell to the ground, his blood pooling around him.

The others who were kneeling in front of me shifted into their wolf form as well as the men who came to their aid. This pack had a longstanding war against the bears. Being under one even if I was part wolf was not acceptable.

Yuri shifted beside me and growled at them. I mind linked Hope not to use lightning on them yet. I want to prove I am stronger than them. Maria and Leia suddenly appeared and shifted into their wolf forms. The crowd of onlookers started murmuring. Wolf and bear were beside each other, ready to fight.

I slowed down time for Jean Luc's loyal wolves so it would be easier for us to kill them. I took two wolves in each hand and smashed them together repeatedly until I knew they were dead then I threw them away. Yuri started slashing the wolves with his claws and when the wolves fell to the ground, he bit their faces. Maria and Leia joined forces on one wolf, Maria biting his neck while Leia bit his leg and twisted it.

I started picking each wolf up and breaking their necks like a twig and discarding them like trash. Some of the onlookers started shifting, sprinting to avenge their dead comrades. Lightning came down from they sky as the ran forward, the scent of their burnt flesh filling the air, as they fell to the ground.

The last wolf standing was about to escape, but because time was slow for him, I caught him, and I bit his neck and pulled his head from his body. I move forward to the crowd and dropped his head in front of him, his blood dripping from my mouth.

Fang shifts back to my human form.

"I will bring the dead body of Jean Luc. Your loyalty will die with him."

(Jean Luc POV)

"Hey Doc, it's been four hours already. Are your sure he'll wake up?" I hear a man's voice. It sounded familiar. American.

"I saw him flutter his eyelids. He's waking up." A women's voice. American as well.

I sit up, still groggy from the drug I drank. My head was aching and I instinctively rub my forehead to ease the pain. I try to focus my eyesight on the two voices I heard.

"Jean Luc, there's a cup of water beside you if you feel thirsty." Alex points to a paper cup on the floor. I look around me. I was seated in the middle of a cage in my boxer shorts. Next to me, in another cell, was my Beta who was also stripped of his clothing.

"Let me out of here." I run toward the bars of the cage and grabbing two of the bars of the cell. I yelp and fall back, looking down at the burn marks on my palms. Silver.

"I have not formally introduced myself. I am Alpha Alexander Ulrich. This woman beside me is my pack's doctor, Doctor Frances Williams. She has made sure you would wake up without any severe effects from the drug."

"Alpha? You are just a mere driver." I sneer at him.

"Driver, bank owner, business owner, pilot...What's the difference? I can be anyone I choose if necessary."

"Where is Celeste?" The bitch had me wrapped around her finger that I didn't see right through her.

"She'll be here."

"So all of you work for Maximus? You did all this so he can become Caïd?"

"Actually, we are all working for Fang. And no one is going to become Caïd. We have plans to destroy the Mafia. All of you have caused so much suffering to many innocent people, wolves and in your case, bears." He looked directly at me. "

"Fang?" How is that possible? They all work for a boy?

"You sound surprised. Well, you'll have all the answers to the questions forming in that brain of yours. We have a program happening tonight and you and your Beta will be our main event. I will have someone bring food and some clothes for you in a while. Both of you will need your strength. As for now, I have to take care of business with your accountant. Everything you have amassed over the years will be going to your pack members. Good day, Jean Luc!" Alexander buttoned the jacket of his suit and walked out, followed by the doctor. I picked up the paper cup and threw it at the bars of the cage.

I had to make a plan to escape.
