Chapter 77 Caught

(Alexander POV)

The communing room of my mother was already ready for us when we arrived. Hope told Grace and her family that she just had to borrow George because he forged with The Great Shadow thus, there must be certain memories of The Great Shadow George knew of. She just had to unlock his mind into remembering. Grace nodded her consent and said she would accompany her father to Dark Moon.

Mark and Oliver were both busy for the mission to catch Council Elder Berkeley. The helicopter left with Oliver, Ava, Mark, Maria and some of my men this late afternoon while there was still daylight. If everything goes as planned, I will be meeting with the Council Elder tomorrow.

George was starting to not look well. Hope was right. Whatever The Great Shadow left inside him has started to kill him. I was already silently praying to the Moon Goddess to heal him.

Hope set up a yoga mat for George to lie down on. My mother gave some tea to George before he laid down on the mat and she lit the candles around the circle. Once the moonlight hit the center of the circle, Hope would start.

"Alexander, would you like to join me in communing with the Moon Goddess?" Hope asked.

"I thought that was for Priestesses or Mages." I told her.

"You are the son of a healer. There is some magic in you. And I would rather you get the answers yourself so you can plan accordingly." Hope answered.

"Fine. What do I do?" I felt nervous. I have never done something like this before.

"Son, drink this. I gave this to George. It will make you go into a trance as fast as Hope. Don't worry. You will wake up once The Moon Goddess has finished." My mother gives me what looked like tea in a small cup. "After you drink it, kneel on the pillow beside Hope and leave everything to Hope."

I mind link David to keep guard with Grace. "Copy, Alpha. I'm right outside the communing room with your father."

I drink the tea like I was downing a shot. It tasted sweet. I feel it warm my insides and I started feeling drowsy. I yawn, step inside the circle and kneel down on the pillow beside Hope. I give her a kiss on her cheek.

"Close your eyes, Alexander. The moonlight is already hitting the center." Hope tells me in a whisper. My eyelids were feeling very heavy. I could hear George snoring. He was already asleep. I close my eyes. I hear Hope say something, but it seemed she was moving far away. I begin dreaming of my kid self playing soccer with Oliver and David behind the mansion. My mother comes out and calls us to have some iced tea and cookies. We all run towards her, laughing, chatting about the game we were suppose to have against a rival school. We were so happy when we were kids. It gave me a fuzzy feeling inside and warmed my whole body.

I started to feel as light as a feather and I started floating. I could see George lying down, Hope kneeling down with her head down and myself kneeling down, asleep. I look up and I see the moon, a small crescent shape, huge and shining. Standing on the tip of the crescent-shaped moon was a woman with long white hair and a long white flowing dress. I move toward her like I was being pulled by an invisible magnet. As I moved closer to her, I could see Hope and George waiting for me in front of her.

The Moon Goddess was a beautiful woman. She had white hair, blue eyes that twinkled like diamonds, light mocha colored skin and red smiling lips. I was in awe to see two beautiful woman in front of me. Hope was also wearing a white dress that flowed with the wind, her hair floating in the breeze and her golden eyes like stars.

"Alexander, my child, welcome. I have longed waited for you to commune with me." Her voice was like a lullaby.

"Moon Goddess, I am truly blessed to see you." I kneel before her.

"The future holds great darkness my children. The Being of The Black Stone is to be unleashed." The Moon Goddess tells us.

"Black Stone, Moon Goddess?" Hope asks not knowing what it was.

"When Earth was still young, an entity of great evil arrived here from a distant star. The evil was encased in a black stone by the inhabitants of a distant planet. They released it in a black hole hoping it would vanish, never to come back."

"It unfortunately landed on Earth when the blackhole opened as a wormhole near our solar system. It came to the possession of the Black Shadow Pack when it fell from the sky and landed in their territory. The Shadow Pack found it possessed great power however, the power which emerges from the Black Stone is of great evil."

"The story does not end there. While roaming, a priestess of the Autumn Moonlight Pack found a yellow gem encased in a clear stone. It travelled with the black stone, released also as insurance the evil of the Black Stone would not reign supreme if it were to find a way to break from its prison. The yellow gem forged the circle of three Priestesses to oppose the evil and create a balance for the living."

"The ring on your finger, Hope, is that yellow gem. The white gem on your locket is part of the clear stone. Both when brought together will defeat the evil."

The uncle of Priestess Maria buried himself in unlocking the mysteries of the Black Stone and has found a way to release the being from its prison. The Autumn Equinox is key as it will coincide with the alignment of the planets creating a force to open the stone. However, it needs a vessel. A strong vessel and unfortunately, I created one for them. The Rogue Lord." The Moon Goddess hangs her head in regret.

"There is one other vessel who is strong enough to hold the evil. However, to destroy the evil, you must destroy the vessel."

"Who, Moon Goddess?" Hope asks.

"You."

(Mark POV)

I was already in the cockpit of the plane ready to fly. I looked out at the hangar. Oliver, wearing a flight attendant uniform, was still outside making sure everything was all set.

I hear a knock on the door of the cockpit. Ava opens the door wearing a sexy flight attendant uniform and behind her was an older gentlemen who looked like he hit the jackpot with Ava. Horny wolves.

"We fly to Brunei. I do not want any excuses to land prematurely." The older gentleman barked his orders.

"Very well, Sir." I look out and see Oliver wasn't outside anymore.

I talk to Tower Control to ask for permission to take off.

"Foxtrot 1980, line up and wait." Tower Contol is asking me to taxi on the runway and wait.

The older gentleman was kissing Ava's neck and she was giggling.

"You need to sit down and put on your seatbelt. Come on. I'll escort you to your seat." Ava takes his hand and walks outside the cockpit. She nods her head before closing the door.

I look at my co-pilot and he laughs. We taxi the plane to the runway and wait for clearance.

"Foxtrot 1980, fly heading two three zero. Runway two seven left.  Cleared for takeoff."

I follow the instructions of Tower Control and takeoff. When we were safely in the air, someone knocks on the door of the cockpit. Oliver walks in.

"Done. Fly this baby back to Seattle." Oliver tells us.

I pat my co-pilot on the shoulder. He was one of my men. I exit the cockpit to check what has happened to everyone on the plane. Everyone was knocked out except Maria and Ava who were now busy putting plasticuffs on the hands and feet of our passengers.

"His saliva is on me!" Ava takes a tissue and wipes her neck, disgusted. "You said he'd be out in 10 minutes. It took him 30." She complained to Maria.

"My mistake. I think I need to add more belladonna in my sleeping elixir or make one for heavyset men." She brushes her hands together after putting plasticuffs on the last of Berkeley's body guards. "Time to change." She was also wearing a sexy flight attendant uniform. She waves her hand and they were now in the attire they were wearing before the sexy costume. "That's better." She plops down on a seat and Ava gives her some juice.

"Awww. I liked you guys better wearing that stuff." Oliver said. Maria snaps her finger and Oliver's clothes change to the sexy flight attendant costume. Ava takes out her phone and takes a picture.

"Hey! This looks good on you, not me! Man, do I feel naked." Oliver looks down at his hairy legs. "Give me back my clothes."

"Say sorry."

"I'm sorry." Maria snaps her finger and Oliver has his clothes again.

"Play nicely you guys and keep an eye on them. Don't fall asleep." I warn them. They all nod and I go back to the cockpit.

"Alpha is going to be very happy we got him."  My co-pilot nods his head.

"Life has become exciting. Never knew Luna Hope could bring all this excitement." He tells me.

"Well, buckle up. We're expecting more."
