Chapter 16 Flirt With His Ex-Wife
Matthew smiled, yet his handsome face remained cold, and his voice was still indifferent.
"It seems that Miss Bryant not only had bad eyesight but also a short memory. Do I need to remind you of who I am?"
As Matthew spoke, he stepped closer and closer to Trista.
Trista subconsciously stepped back.
However, they were in an elevator, and there was not much room for Trista to retreat. Soon, Trista backed against the elevator wall.
In the next second, Matthew pressed his hand on the elevator wall and trapped Trista between him and the wall.
Matthew gritted his teeth and looked at Trista. "Do I need to remind you that we had a marriage? Do you need me to tell you how you provoked me six years ago to let me spend the absurd night with you? Don't you know that you are my ex-wife, and we have..."
Two children?
Matthew didn't finish his sentence.
Hearing Matthew mention that story again, Trista blushed.
Trista was even more confused, not understanding why this man was bringing up their old issues.
Could it be that he still held a grudge for that night?
Trista felt apprehensive but still calmly replied, "I'm sorry. I did forget. After all, it wasn't a good experience. It's been so many years, why..."
Trista met Matthew's cold eyes, and her tone contained an unconsciously provocative.
"Don't tell me you still can't forget that night you had with me, Mr. Myers."
Matthew was so angry that his chest hurt.
This heartless woman! Every single word she spoke challenged his bottom line!
What annoyed him more was that Matthew didn't know whether Trista had really forgotten or she didn't care about what had happened a few years ago at all.
It was probably the latter.
Otherwise, why would she be so heartless as to abandon their children?
At the thought of his two children, Matthew was fuming with anger towards this woman.
Seeing Matthew's gradually darkening face, Trista felt a little uneasy.
However, she still said coldly, "Mr. Myers, it's been so many years, and our past is in the past. Both of us had our new life, so let's just treat each other as strangers...
"If there's nothing else, I'll leave now."
With that, Trista fled from Matthew's arms and ran away.
At that very moment, her wrist was suddenly grabbed by someone.
Trista's eyes widened slightly in surprise, looking at Matthew.
"What else do you want?"
Matthew sneered. "You said something right. I do remember that night, 1.4 dollars and a note. I will never forget it!"
Mentioning the things she left behind, Matthew gritted his teeth and said, "So, Trista, you have to pay the price for your behavior back then!"
What did he mean by this?
Before Trista could react, Matthew yanked her out of the elevator by her wrist.
"What are you doing?!"
Trista exclaimed in horror.
Matthew didn't answer.
Outside, there was a long version of Rolls-Royce waiting.
With a cold face, Matthew dragged Trista into the car.
In the front seat, Colby was very surprised to see the two of them at the same time, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he consciously raised the partition.
Trista didn't expect Matthew's behavior at all.
Trista couldn't understand what Matthew meant.
Trista shouted at Matthew in anger, "Matthew, have you lost your mind? You already have a family, and you shouldn't flirt with your ex-wife like that. Do you have no boundaries?"
Matthew didn't care about her struggle. He got into the car, closed the door, and sneered. "Thanks to Miss Bryant, I am not picky anymore."
With that, Matthew pulled Trista over.
His sudden actions caught Trista off guard. Trista was unprepared, hitting his chest, and feeling a sharp pain in her chin.
Matthew pinched her chin, his actions were rough and harsh.
In Trista's eyes, she felt as if she had been fooled.
Her heart tightened, making her feel uncomfortable.
For so many years, Trista had thought that she had become calm and collected, but when facing Matthew again, she still felt a sharp pain in her chest.
What did Matthew take her for?
Trista felt bad. When she had expectations for Matthew before, he didn't give her any tenderness at all.
Matthew was even unwilling to give her a hug or a kiss when they were together.
Now that he had taken the initiative to get close to her, suddenly, he could hug her and kiss her at will. Was that he had changed?
No, he just regarded her as a toy!
Trista struggled fiercely in his arms.
"Let go of me!"
Trista tried to break free from Matthew, but she couldn't move Matthew's arms at all. Trista could only pound on him.
Hearing the noise from the back seat, Colby was confused.
He rubbed his nose and thought, 'Do these two people need to be so fierce?
Besides, doesn't Mr. Myers hate Miss Bryant?
So, what was going on now?
Should I not be in the car?'
Matthew did not expect this woman's attitude to be so resistant, and his expression became extremely bad.
"Calm down."
Matthew tried to persuade her, but it didn't work. Instead, Trista struggled more intensely.
"Trista!"
Matthew couldn't help roaring at Trista, but his suppressed emotions seemed to have stimulated her.
Trista grabbed his hand and bit it fiercely.
Trista was like a wolf cub whose fighting spirit was aroused when it dealt with its enemies.
Matthew winced in pain and was annoyed by her. "Are you a dog, Trista?"
As he spoke, he wanted to pull Trista away, but when he touched her body, he found that she was trembling.
He suddenly stopped and was stunned.
The taste of blood spread in her mouth, pulling Trista back to her senses.
Realizing that Matthew had stopped moving, Trista realized that she was too excited.
Trista quickly let go of Matthew's hand, and her gaze landed on the circle of teeth marks, which were bleeding and looked scary.
Before Matthew could react, Trista suddenly stepped back, opened the door, got out of the car, and ran away.
Matthew looked in the direction where she disappeared, and his face was very gloomy. He was in a very bad mood.
He gritted his teeth and said, "Trista, just you wait!"
At the entrance of the hotel, Myra hid behind a pillar, with red eyes from anger.
Just now in the banquet hall, she didn't see Matthew. After asking around, she knew that he had left.
Myra immediately followed him out and heard that he had gone downstairs, so she followed him down.
However, she had never expected to see Trista being dragged into the car by Matthew.
Myra didn't know what they were doing in the car, but she could vaguely see the car shaking.
Myra gritted her teeth to suppress her anger.
Myra thought, 'Trista!
Why did you come back?
Why didn't you just die abroad?'
