Chapter 6 Had a Grip on Him

"I have already prevented Myra from getting close to our home."
After Matthew finished explaining, he looked at Boris with a serious expression and spoke in a commanding tone, saying, "Let's eat."
Boris scoffed inwardly, wondering what there was to eat.
He responded directly. "If you had lost interest in her, you would have cut off contact with her long ago. How is it that you're still entangled?
"If you want to have another child with her, we have no objections. We can even go find our Mommy..."
Boris' words were cut short as he slid off his chair and prepared to leave.
Matthew was about to scowl, but then he saw his precious daughter sliding down as well.
Eudora stared at him, trying to hold back but couldn't resist any longer. She spoke again, "Bad guy!"
Matthew's face froze, showing a hint of astonishment.
His precious daughter... Was she speaking again?
But she was scolding him...
Should he be happy or sad?
As the two little kids pushed open the door, Matthew had to get up to prevent them from running away from home again. He said, "Moody, Ruby, stop!"
These two little kids were becoming more rebellious!
Perhaps it was the cold and stern undertone in his voice...
The two children were startled and stopped in their tracks, turning to look at him.
With a stern face, Matthew forced himself to explain, barely containing his temper. "Let me make this clear one last time. I have no intention of having children with anyone else. Having the two of you is enough for me! Come back here!"
Colby glanced at the two children, then at Matthew, who was struggling to explain.
He felt a little sorry for Matthew.
These two kids... They really had a grip on him!
"And don't mention Mommy in front of me again."
Matthew furrowed his brow deeply. "She's long gone!"
Upon hearing this, Boris couldn't help but frown.
Their scumbag father not only abandoned their Mommy but also cursed her to death?!
He was about to retort, but suddenly a familiar thought crossed his mind.
Before, when he asked their Mommy about their father, their Mommy seemed to say that their father had died a long time ago!
Boris' young face stiffened.
He found himself couldn't argue with that...
If their Mommy were exposed, it would be bad.
Seeing that they remained silent, Matthew, with patience, commanded them. "Sit down and finish your meal."
Boris shrugged. "We need to go to the restroom!"
After speaking, he grabbed Eudora's hand and headed for the exit.
"Young Master, Young Miss, shall I accompany you?"
Colby quickly offered, afraid of losing them.
But Boris thought for a moment and said, "No need! We know the way back!"
And then they left.
Seeing this, Colby couldn't help but look at Matthew. "What now?"
Matthew pinched his brow and said, "No need to follow them. Have the staff keep an eye on the exit. As long as they don't leave this restaurant, it's fine."
"Yes!"
Colby promptly followed the orders.
...
In another private room...
Trista and the others had almost finished their meal.
Seeing that dinner was coming to an end, Ruby became restless, fidgeting in her seat.
Observing this, Trista couldn't help but inquire, "Sweetie, what's wrong?"
Moody heard this and instinctively looked at his sister.
In the next second, he knew she wanted to go to the restroom.
He said, "Do you need to go to the restroom? I'll take you."
Ruby nodded and placed her hand in Moody's outstretched palm.
"Mommy, we'll be back soon."
Moody said naturally, exuding a sense of maturity, and led Ruby out.
Nelly watched the two children and couldn't help but remark to Trista, "It's been a while, and Boris has become more composed again."
Upon hearing this, Trista couldn't help but chuckle. "He's only composed when it comes to Eudora. Sometimes he still loses his temper! Like yesterday, he almost paralyzed the research institute!"
After hearing this, Nelly couldn't help but laugh at that.
...
After Moody led Ruby outside the restroom, he quietly instructed her. "You should go in by yourself. I'll wait outside."
Ruby nodded her little head and entered.
Moody stood in the corridor, contemplating the events of the day.
He had been looking for an opportunity to ask the lady about the situation with those two children.
He also felt that such coincidences wouldn't happen in the world. How could someone be so similar to him and Ruby?
The only possibility was that the beautiful lady was their Mommy!
Their Mommy wasn't dead.
The thought made Moody feel indignant.
Their father must have lied! He actually said their Mommy was no longer alive, yet he still kept in touch with Myra.
Myra pretended to care about him and Ruby. But in fact, she had repeatedly implied that she would marry his father in the future and have children with him.
It was truly repulsive!
Fortunately, their Mommy had finally returned. Moody and Ruby no longer had to worry about Myra entering their lives!
While lost in his thoughts, Moody suddenly heard footsteps beside him.
He instinctively looked up and saw a face that was identical to his own.
The two children met eye to eye and were both taken aback, unable to regain their composure, frozen in place.
It felt peculiar as if they were looking in a mirror.
Even though Boris already had an idea in his mind, upon seeing the other person's appearance, he still found it unbelievable.
"Boris, Boris... I saw..."
Just then, Eudora rushed out of the women's restroom.
Her delighted exclamation came to a halt when she saw the two identical Boris at the entrance, and she, too, stopped in her tracks.
"Wow? Two Boris!"
Her voice rose at the end, finding it particularly amusing.
Behind her, Ruby walked out slowly, her expression showing a hint of timidity.
The four little kids had officially met.
They looked at each other, seeming to recognize one another.
"Let's find a place to talk, shall we?"
In the end, Boris was the first to speak.
Eudora naturally went along with Boris.
Moody gave Ruby a reassuring look, then nodded at Boris. "Alright."
He also wanted to know what exactly was going on.
