Chapter 4 Chasing Rivals for Mommy

The two children were completely mesmerized upon their first encounter with bad guy, Matthew.
Well, he didn't have any significant deviations from the information they had previously found.
Matthew possessed deep, clear-cut, handsome features. He was dressed in a meticulously tailored dark gray suit with a crisp white shirt impeccably fastened up to his collar. His long legs were snugly encased in trousers, exuding an air of asceticism and elegance.
The gleaming cufflinks adorning his sleeves emitted a cold gleam, perfectly complementing his aura of nobility and aloofness.
"Mr. Myers, we have found Young Master and Young Miss."
Colby approached Matthew and reported, simultaneously placing the two children beside him.
Matthew looked down, his authoritative presence emanating in full force as he observed the two children who had been brought back.
His profound gaze harbored suppressed emotions, and the entire VIP room was filled with a palpable sense of oppression.
Although the two children locked eyes with him, they displayed no signs of fear whatsoever.
Eudora even leaned closer to Boris and whispered, "Boris, is that our dad? He looks so handsome!"
Boris gave her a glare in response.
Boris muttered under his breath, "Don't praise him! He's the heartless man who abandoned us and Mommy!
"We're here this time just to figure out what's going on with our siblings, understand?"
Eudora didn't think too much about it.
However, upon hearing Boris' words, she obediently responded with a soft sound, nodding to indicate her understanding.
"Don't you have anything to say?"
Matthew finally spoke, his tone tinged with annoyance.
"Do you really think no one would dare beat you when you ran away from home?"
Run away from home?
Upon hearing his words, the two children visibly froze for a moment.
Then, in an instant, they understood everything!
So, their bad dad wasn't treating their siblings well either.
Otherwise, how could two children like them decide to run away from home?
Boris couldn't help but feel grateful that he and Eudora had been raised by their Mommy since they were little.
When they were by their Mommy's side, she had never allowed them to suffer any grievances.
Observing Matthew's oppressive aura becoming even more subdued, Colby feared his anger and hastily advised the two children, "Young Master, Young Miss, apologize quickly."
Ever since these two children went missing, Colby had been constantly anxious.

He held his pent-up anger and matched Matthew's presence, each word spoken with emphasis. "Now, it's not impossible for you to abandon us for Myra. We ran away from home, and that's just what you wanted, right?!"
Matthew's face turned incredibly ugly when he heard these words, and he sternly asked, "Where did you hear these things?"
For these years, hardly anyone within the Myers family dared to mention Trista's existence. How could two children know about it?
Colby trembled in shock, his face turning pale.
Young Master's temper was as unyielding as ever...
Fearful that the father and son might really start arguing, he gathered his courage and hurriedly tried to persuade them. "Mr. Myers, this might be some servant spreading rumors, which the Young Master heard. Please calm down!"

But he didn't care!
After finally meeting their bad father, of course, he had to confront him and let out the frustration for their Mommy and themselves!
Eudora, standing by his side, nodded in agreement. "I think he's right..."
