Chapter 60
The sky above them had begun to change color as the explosions from the destroyed alien base began to subside. Fires still raged in the remains of the building, but the atmosphere around Jhonny and his team was much calmer. With the mission almost complete, Jhonny decided to focus on the next thing that needed to be done.
Jhonny walked over to the woman who had moments ago led the group of women they had rescued. The woman still looked a little tired, but the spirit of victory was clear in her eyes. "Where are you going now?" asked Jhonny, his voice calm but thoughtful.
The woman turned her head and smiled slightly before answering. "We... don't really have any plans after this. But we need to contact our family on another planet. They've been waiting a long time, and we don't know if they still think we're alive or not."
Jhonny thought for a moment before nodding. "Do you need help?"
The woman looked a little doubtful, but finally nodded. "Yes, we don't have proper communication equipment. We need to borrow your signal transmitter to send a message to our family."
Without thinking twice, Jhonny happily agreed to the request. "Of course. You helped us with the explosion plan, it's time we helped you."
Denada overheard the conversation and rushed over, carrying the requested signal-transmitting equipment. "I can set it up," Denada said as she began preparing the equipment.
Deftly, Denada set the appropriate communication frequency. After a few tries, the signal finally connected. The women looked so relieved, as if the heavy burden they had been carrying all this time could finally be released.
"We are indebted to you," one of them said with a smile to Jhonny and his team. "Our families will come to pick us up in a while. Thank you for giving us hope."
Jhonny just smiled and nodded. "No problem. We are all fighting for the same thing, freedom and safety. Now, focus on your own safety."
After the communication was completed, Jhonny and his team reconvened to make sure everything was running smoothly. They all looked relieved, but there was one more thing to ensure before they returned to Earth.
"What about Frigia Sanguinis?" asked Rian while looking at Denada who was taking care of the equipment beside them. "Have we transported everything?"
Denada nodded firmly. "Yes, I've made sure every piece of Frigia Sanguinis stone is transported. It's more than enough to make medicine for many, many people on Earth."
Fredy, who was standing nearby, interjected, staring at the stones with an admiring gaze. "If this really can cure the genetic problems that the earthlings have, then we can save thousands, maybe even millions of lives."
Alice looked at Frigia Sanguinis with hope. "This is the end of a long struggle. After all we've been through, we finally have a solution to this problem."
Jhonny smiled slightly, feeling the weight on his shoulders slowly begin to dissipate. "We did it. Now it's time for us to go home."
With all preparations made, Jhonny and his team prepared to leave the alien base that had now become rubble. They made sure that the women from the alien planet would be safe until their families came to pick them up.
"Make sure you stay here until they arrive," Jhonny told the woman leading the group. "We're leaving now, but we'll make sure you're safe before we leave."
The woman nodded her thanks. "We will wait here. Thank you again for everything."
With a fond farewell full of emotion and pride, Jhonny and his team boarded their plane and prepared to head home. The plane glided smoothly, leaving the ruins of the alien base behind them. Although they had just been through a difficult battle, there was a sense of peace in their hearts. The mission was finally over.
**
Some time later, their plane entered the earth's atmosphere. Jhonny and his team could see the surface of the earth they knew so well from the window of the plane. Their home, where they had been struggling all this time, was now in sight.
Arriving at the main base, their plane landed smoothly. As soon as the airplane door opened, a cool breeze greeted them. On the tarmac, many people were waiting, including Miranda and a number of scientists.
Jhonny stepped out first, followed by Alice, Rian, Denada, and Fredy. As soon as they disembarked, Miranda immediately ran over to Jhonny, her face filled with relief and happiness.
"You're back safely!" exclaimed Miranda, unable to hide her excitement. "We were worried about you all. How was the mission?"
Jhonny smiled broadly, looking at Miranda with confidence. "We succeeded. Frigia Sanguinis is here. This will be the solution to our genetic problem."
The scientists around them quickly approached, eager to see the Frigia Sanguinis stone that Jhonny and his team had brought with them. Denada handed them the stone, and the scientists immediately began to examine and observe it with great interest.
"It's incredible," murmured one of the scientists. "This could be a lifesaver for so many lives. With this, we can make medicine to cure the genetic mutations that the earthlings have."
Gratitude and happiness pervaded the atmosphere at the base. Everyone thanked Jhonny and his team for the success of this mission. The scientists prepared to start processing Frigia Sanguinis into the necessary medicine, while Jhonny and his team could rest after a long journey filled with challenges.
Alice stood beside Jhonny, looking up at the scientists working with the Frigia Sanguinis stone. "Finally, we can give new hope to the earthlings," she said softly.
Jhonny nodded slowly. "Yes, this is a great victory for all of us. After all we've been through, this is the result we dreamed of."
Fredy, who was standing not far from them, tapped Jhonny on the shoulder. "Well done, Jhonny. You really are a great leader. We all owe you one."
Jhonny smiled slightly. "It's not just because of me. We all played an important role in the success of this mission."
Denada and Rian also approached, their faces full of pride and relief. "After this, maybe we can rest a bit," Rian said in a joking tone. "We deserve a little time to relax after all this."
Jhonny nodded with a chuckle. "Yeah, maybe we do need a little rest. But after that, who knows what else we'll face."
With a light heart, Jhonny and his team watched as the Frigia Sanguinis began to be processed by scientists. Earth's future looked brighter now. They had completed this mission well, and they knew that what they did today would have a huge impact on humanity.
"I never thought we'd be able to do this," Alice said.
"Neither did I, but God really blessed us," said Jhonny and then kissed Alice gently on the lips. "Whatever it is, I will always protect you."
The end.
