53. The Last Fight
Alyssa watched as the Pack Alpha turned red in his face, denial at the tip of his tongue. But she had enough. Enough of his lies and stupid promises. The omega should have known better than to believe someone like him. He had been so shady since the beginning and to think her father sacrificed his life for his sake made her stomach churn.
"Don't even try to deny it! I know"
He visibly shook at her voice and shrugged. "I had no choice!"
She flashed her eyes at him. "No choice? I begged you. I told you about the Alphas courting me, and what did you say?"
The omega gritted her teeth as she thought about that very moment. Alyssa had so much faith in her Pack Alpha like a naive omega. She prattled to him, rambling on and on about how much she was lucky to have those three Alphas. Somewhere at the back of her mind, she thought he wouldn't be that heartless. That he would understand but boy she was wrong. Oh, so wrong.
The Pack Alpha pinched his nose. "What do you want me to do now, Alyssa? Everything is settled. Cant, you see why I had to do this? Our pack Alphas are leaving every year, moving to the city. Liam offered me his pack members, and I couldn't refuse"
Oh. So that's why they were bidding her off to him. The omega couldn't believe the person standing in front of her. How could he do something like that and not be sorry about it?
Just before she could ask him about him, Liam stepped in the room. He had a smirk on his face when he noticed Alyssa. "Hello, my future mate."
Alyssa snorted. "In your dreams, maybe."
His expression suddenly changed, and he stalked towards her, his face pressing against her good-smelling neck, rolling his hips. She gasped at the sudden action, feeling her insides tremble with sudden fear. Liam crooned in her ear. "I don't like that mouth of yours, omega. I'm your Alpha. I deserve to be respected."
"No, you are not!"
Liam instinctively looked at the Pack Alpha who nodded his head. At that Liam huffed. "Still doesn't matter. One bite on your neck and I can claim you right here."
"Please, don't—please. Get off," She weakly pleaded, at a harrowing loss on how she was going to get out of this, seeing no way out at all and wiggling around in terror. His arms were tight around her.
"Oh, I like it when you beg, Omega. Beg for me more," He taunted, running a rough hand up her sides, mockingly laughing when she tried to claw at his hands.
She resorted to elbowing him, on the Alpha's chest with her freed hand as she prayed to the moon above, desperately asking for help. The omega didn't think it through. Now Liam could do anything to her:
Her prayers were swiftly answered when sudden roars ripped out from behind her. She strained her head to see who it was, but inside she already knew.
"Get the fuck away from her. Right now," Eric growled as he came to stand in front, his canines bared and eyes black as night.
Took you long enough, She thought somewhat fondly, wondering how she'd been so distracted not to notice her Alphas scent. As she tilted her head, Adrian and Nicholas also stalked inside; their eyes narrowed dangerously.
Liam tried to focus on the immediate threat, and while he was occupied, she took that opportunity and scrambled away to the best of his ability.
"Eric Bellini" Liam sneered, his lips curled in a disgusting smirk. He lazily crossed his arms against his chest.
"You should have known that we will come here to rescue our mate."
The business rival cackled like a madman and cracked his knuckles, "Well then you should have known that I always have a plan."
With that, he threw his head back and howled for his pack members. Within a minute, half a dozen Alphas crowded the room. Alyssa gulped at that. Now she got why he had bought so many people with him. He knew this was going to happen.
"Eric" Nicholas whispered. "You end him. We'll handle his pets."
Adrian nodded. At that, those wolves growled.
Eric and Liam threw themselves into a violent battle; punching, scraping, biting, and kicking each other in that room. When she heard bones cracking, however, she instantly halted and turned her head, just in time to witness Eric erupt into a wolf twice the size of her.
Her mouth dropped as she saw Nicholas and Adrian shift as well. They both were was incredible—beautiful. The sheer size and incomparable supremacy of their fur hypnotised her. One of them had a midnight black coat while the other was dark brown. She was captivated by their eyes above their snarling snouts. Their colours were a standard wolf colour but seeing them in their proper form, so tremendous was pretty close to a spiritual experience.
She couldn't help but admire their paws. They were massive, and each claw was near to equal length her human fingers, so that was terrifying, and they dug into the ground with every stalking step forward they took towards those wolves. Nicholas and Adrian as wolves stared at her at the same time; she noticed a glint as if they were trying to assure her.
Her eyes fell on their long, bushy tail sticking straight out behind them. They exuded a threatening display of aggression that had her wondering how the other wolves were going to survive against them. It was going to be a tough fight.

Just then she noticed the Pack Alpha trying to sneak away, on his tiptoes. She snarled at him. "Not so fast, Alpha."
With a curse, he turned around. "What are you going to do? Stop me?"
She would have, but Alyssa had other plans. "No. I'll kill you."
"I would like to see you try-” Without warning, she slammed her skull back into the Alphas nose as hard as she could without knocking herself out. He made a sound, flailing to support himself as he tried to steady his feet. In that momentary lapse of control, she got enough space to clasp her palms together and dove a vicious elbow into the rib cage. The Alpha grunted in more pain, and she didn't wait another second before flying with a spin to the ground and kicking his legs.
Once her enemy crashed onto his back, blood gushing from a likely broken nose, she roared, her bones crackling as she shifted. Her wolf was small but incredibly gorgeous with thick white fur and groomed face. She planted both her paws on either side of his hips and stood menacingly over him.
"Alyssa...no. Please I'm sorry" He struggled in her hold, thrashing, coughing, and spluttering.
She held her position, straddling the Alphas hips, even leaning down to hover mere breaths above his hideous face and assert unwavering eye contact. It didn't scare her. He deserved that. Alyssa wanted her eyes to be the last thing this piece of shit ever saw, and how satisfying that they were. Holding his stare, she raised her paw and practically skewered into his chest, shaking the ground underneath him. He choked while she maniacally stood, watching as the light of life faded from his widened eyes.
Only when the bastard had taken his last wet rattle of a breath, and his body had fallen irreversibly slack with death, did she finally calm down. Sniffing him one more time just to be sure, the omega hopped away from his dead body. She scooted farther away and slid on her clothes which were not ripped.
All at once, the horrors of the kill seeped into her naturally Omega thoughts, and she began to hyperventilate, stumbling backwards until her back collided with a wall. It was done. She was free.

After her initial shock passed, the omega wandered to the living wall. Her Alphas were still fighting, but Nicholas and Adrian were almost done. They had several dead bodies lying under them.
Her eyes shifted to Liam, who was expectedly slow by comparison and Eric lunged for him all at once, crushing his teeth into the Alpha's head and instantly penetrating his skull. Her hand flew to her mouth. Then, with a few violent shakes, Eric tore the Alpha's head from his shoulders with a sickening squelching sound and threw it from his mouth as far as he could. He went on to howl victoriously over his Liams limp body, and when he'd celebrated enough, he turned his attention to her.
Seeing their Alpha die, the other pack members gave up and went rushing away.
She held Eric's eyes as he shifted back into a human. The omega heard another set of bones cracking and Adrian and Nicholas shifting back as well.
They rushed to her. "It's over."
