CHAPTER 23

He didn't need to be told who was responsible for the bloodbath that had occurred while he was away.
He was about ten miles away from the warehouse and could smell the stench caused by Vanity. He was concerned that she would be harmed because he suspected that the people who had kidnapped her would be male and countless.
To be honest, he smiled inside as he saw the drained bodies on the ground. He didn't care if she had to massacre everyone; the only thing that mattered to him was that she was safe.
So, when he saw her standing there in the bloodied clothes she'd been wearing during her play, he sighed with relief. He was overcome with emotion, and he had no idea what he would have done if he had lost her.
He was aware that there were other supernatural beings out there, and if she encountered one, let alone a powerful one, he would lose her forever. He didn't mind humans because they couldn't kill her even if they shot her multiple times.
He had his men deal with the aftermath and dispose of any evidence, and the police were also fired. Because the Commissioner was a family friend, he simply stood aside now that Vanity had been found.
Everyone was waiting for them when they arrived at the villa, but he refused to let anyone speak to her. He made sure she first cleaned herself and ate something to warm her body. Even though he knew she'd had her fill earlier, she still needed to eat some human food. Before he pulled her to sleep, she had only eaten a bowl of rice with some side dishes.
He wanted an explanation, but he wanted her to talk about it after she had rested and was in good health. He also assured the elders that they would meet in the morning. That night, he hugged her tightly because he was afraid, she would disappear from his arms and he would never see her again.
The next morning, Vanity awoke early and planted a kiss on her husband's lips before slipping out of bed for a relaxing bath. When she was putting on the towel, the door unexpectedly opened, and she smiled at the anxious man.
“I will not go anywhere,” she reassured him as she hooked her arms around his neck.
He buried his head in her neck to smell that wonderful scent produced by her body. Vanity planted another kiss on his cheek before he turned to look at her. Seeing the lust and desire in his eyes she couldn’t help but think of her coaxing plan.
Without waiting for him to do anything, she dropped to her knees and gave him a wonderful and satisfying blowjob, forcing him to empty his load down her throat, which she licked and swallowed.
In exchange, Chandler gave her a lesson in the bathroom that lasted another hour, leading to a couple shower after the exercise.
As his concern faded, Vanity was pleased with herself and began to feel a little better about everything.
“We're going to the mansion, so dress nicely,” Chandler said as she looked for clothes.
“Oh...” she exclaimed as she came to a halt in the middle of her selection.
It appeared that he had decided for her to just tell everyone, which was also a good thing because it gave her a chance to come clean to everyone rather than explaining to many people time and time again.
“You don't have to be concerned about anything; all you have to do is explain everything. I'm not leaving you no matter what; I love you and everything that comes with you,” he said as he hugged her tightly.
As she listened to that confession, Vanity shed a few tears. It was enough for her to hear him say that. She was more concerned with what this man thought of her than with what others thought of her. She was fine as long as he was by her side.
He kissed her tears away before assisting her in selecting a yellow knee-length dress and flat black shoes.
“Thank you,” she smiled up at him, and he kissed her on the lips.
Vanity cheerfully dressed before leaving the master bedroom with her husband.
They decided to eat breakfast at the villa before proceeding to the Wagner ancestral home, where the elders awaited them. He fed her a bowl because she didn't seem to be hungry.
Chandler took a red Maserati from his garage after breakfast and drove it to the mansion with Vanity. He had noticed and observed that his wife adored sports cars, and he wanted to make her happy and see her worry-free as they visited the mansion.
He had already placed an order for her own car, while she was using his. He simply wanted to give her a car that belonged to her; after all, he wasn't short on cash.
As they entered the mansion, Vanity took his hand in hers. Vanity simply couldn't get enough of this place. This was her second visit to this place, and she was still in awe of it.
The mansion was very old, but it was still very strong. She had tasted her strength when she arrived at that time, which was completely wrong, but she was simply curious.
She was taken to the top floor, where Grandpa Jerome lived, instead of the usual sitting room they were in the other day. The floor was private, and no one would bother them.
She looked at the private sitting room, which appeared to be very manly even for someone of Jerome's age. She greeted Jerome, Hunter, and Kelly before settling in next to Chandler on the brown sofa, which felt very comfortable and soft as she sank in.
The sitting room had a table in the center and individual serving stools in case someone wanted a drink or some salads. There was also a large TV on the wall and an open bar stocked with various whiskeys and scotches. The old man was living life to the fullest.
“I decided to let Vanity explain everything from the start, and I just hope that no matter what she says, you are not allowed to judge her,” Chandler said solemnly, his hand in hers. It wasn't until he spoke that she remembered she had come to explain herself.
“She is already a part of our family, so we will not judge her but will help her with any problems she may be facing,” Kelly said with conviction, putting Chandler at ease and giving her a cue to begin.
“It all started when.......”
