Knight's Temptation – Part ll
Her body grinded sensually against him as their bodies swayed to the beat. His hands wrapped around her waist as he drew her closer. His hand swept her raven hair away, revealing her neck to him. As she threw her hand back on his shoulder, his fingers teased her bare skin. His other hand fiddled with the hem of her dress, his fingers gliding up her inner thigh. She didn't protest and they both knew what they wanted.

He yawned as he made a left turn, his gaze drawn to the disheveled girl chewing her nail anxiously beside him on the car seat and he sighed in frustration. You might wonder how they got to be this way. Let us revert back to the perfect morning when the colors of the world bloom anew in the early morning as if each is a tiny flower reborn. As the sun's soft rays tickle her skin, she opens her eyes to reveal the glorious face of the man she shared the bed with the night before. What a ride it had been, a night she would never forget. His eyes fluttered open and a smirk coated his luscious lips as he found her staring at him.
"Good morning!" His voice came raspy. She moved in closer, whispered into his ear, and placed a sloppy kiss on his lips.
"I have never been f*ucked like you f*ucked me last night." That certainly boosted his ego. She got out of bed and started picking up her clothes as he enjoyed the view. She came to a halt and turned around to face him. Her face was filled with pure horror, causing him to shriek in confusion.
"Oh my goodness!" She screamed, pacing around the room, pulling her hair. "Oh, my dear god! How could I have forgotten? Oh my God!"
"Are you alright?" He asked, perplexed, as he sat up. She turned around and said, "Today is my grandmother's funeral! I'm late!" She screamed as she slid onto the bed, and he looked at her, puzzled.
"What am I going to do? Mom is going to kill me!" She mumbled under her breath as he sat on the bed like a confused statue. She abruptly turned around to face him.
"Please drive me to her funeral! I don't have my car! Not even my wallet! Please!" She had pleaded, and here he was, driving a hungover as f*uck girl in a tiny dress with her hair disheveled and makeup smooched all over her face to her grandmother's funeral.
He pulled over in front of the church she had given him the address of and she jumped out of the car, and the woman in a black dress pacing impatiently in front of the church charged at her in rage. He got out of the car and narrowed his eyes at the woman scolding the girl. Her gaze fell on him, and a new rage filled her eyes. She charged at him and realization was drawn to him.
"You scumbag! Can't you keep your f*ucking d*ick inside your pants! You're a jerk for taking her home!" Ophelia yelled, and he crossed his arms across his chest in an attempt to intimidate her.
"I wouldn't have if I had known she was from your family; instead, I would have kicked her out of my club." He replied curtly while watching her eyes darken with hatred.
"What else would I expect from a jerk like you? Reighs, make sure I never see your f*ucking face again!" She spun around. "You said it last time, Captain!" He responded, and she tilted her head slightly.
"Nonetheless, here we are. I still had to deal with you, you f*ucking ogre!" She turned around and stormed towards the church, the girl trailing behind her timidly. As he got into his car and slammed the door shut, his blood boiled with rage. After all, the world was small, much smaller than he had assumed.
Ophelia stormed towards the church and her outraged slate blues fell on Zoey,
"Ophelia..." Zoey tried to say something but she fell quite when Ophelia turned her head slightly. "Save it for your mother, Zoey!" Her stern words were enough to quite her down and she bowed her head trailing behind her timidly.
His face irks her so much that she wants to wiggle his eyes out and pickle them in sault brine. How she wishes she hadn't been scheduled for the flight from Dubai to Hawaii all those weeks ago. If only she hadn't met Onyx Reighs!

"Moien, Papp." Onyx said into the phone as he sat back down in his chair after picking up the call. It had been a long week and he was busy with completing his work so that they can leave for Luxembourg.
(Hello, Dad.)
"Wéi geet et dir, Jong?" Gerbert inquired, and Onyx sighed. (How are you doing, son?)
"Ech wäert liewen." He said. (I'll live.)
"Ech hunn héieren, Dir sidd elo a Kalifornien?" His father asked, (I heard you're now in California?)
"Jo firwat?" (Yes, why?)
"Ech hunn e puer Geschäfter a Kalifornien fir opzemaachen, an ech hunn e puer Saachen mat Iech ze diskutéieren." Gerbert stated solemnly, and Onyx scowled. (I have some business in California to attend to, and I have some things to discuss with you.)
"Also gitt Dir hei op Besuch?" Onyx asked, (So you're going to visit here?)
"Ech kéint. Ech soen Iech wann ech et maachen." (I might. I'll let you know if I do.)
"Ok, ech denken, ech gesinn dech geschwënn." Onyx said, and they soon hung up the call. (Alright, I guess I'll see you soon.)
"Macht euch bereit, wir fahren nach Kalifornien." Gerbert ordered his secretary as he slipped the phone in his pocket and started walking out of his office.
(Get ready, we are going to California.)
"Jawohl." His secretary replied as she followed Gerbert out. (Yes, Sir.)
"Dad! It's your phone!" Ophelia yelled as she hastily stuffed everything into her purse.
"Coming," Mason said, hurrying to answer the phone, and Ophelia stood up.
"I'll see you later. Take care." As she ran to the door, she hastily said her goodbyes.
"Have a good time!" Mason shouted as Ophelia left closing the door. Mason followed her out and found Owen waiting for Ophelia near his car. When Ophelia approached, Owen straightened up. He drew her in for a hug, peeked her lips, and she smiled. But Ophelia's smile vanished the instant Owen turned around to open the door for her. It had been a really hard week for them. He knows Ophelia didn't fully recover mentally but she was holding herself strong.
Mason sighed as Owen and Ophelia drove away, the phone rang again, and he answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Mason. This is Gerbert."

"Ophelia? Are you ready?" Mason inquired as he heard the door close and Ophelia's footsteps approach.
"Yes, Dad. Let's go." Mason looked up as Ophelia spoke while wearing her wristwatch.
"Well look at you! Looking like a business person!" Ophelia chuckled as Mason exclaimed.
"All right, let's go." They walked out of the apartment and after locking the door they headed for their office taking a cab.
"Gerbert is supposed to be here at 10 a.m., and trust me, he will be here at 10 a.m., if not earlier," Mason stated as he and Ophelia exited the elevator and made their way to Mason's office. "So, let 's get everything sorted!" Mason said as he entered his office, and Ophelia nodded.
"Dad, here's the file," Ophelia said this while handing Mason the file he was looking for. They had been working for two hours and it was almost ten o'clock. Mason hurriedly organized everything while Ophelia tidied up the office, regardless of the fact that it was already spotless.
"Ophelia?" She turned around when Mason called her name.
"Yeah, Dad?"
"You know that Gerbert is a very good friend of mine?" He inquired, and Ophelia nodded.
"In our meeting, Gerbert and I discussed a lot of things. And he agreed to invest in our company regardless if we go bankrupt in the following months. He is helping me despite the fact that he may suffer a huge loss."
"I'm aware of it, Dad. But why are you telling me this?" Mason sighed as Ophelia questioned, confused. He debated whether or not to tell her about their plan.
"I don't know, I just want everything to go well and-" Mason took a breather, and Ophelia grimaced. "And?"
"And all I can hope for today is that everything goes well." As Mason sighed and turned around, Ophelia hesitantly nodded.
'Is he hiding something, or is he just nervous?' Ophelia questioned herself but before she could ponder on her thoughts, someone knocked on the door and Mason shouted, "Come in!"
As the door was pushed open and a man in his early fifties strolled in, she straightened up. He was in a suit and, despite his age, he appeared physically fit and younger, even with his salt and pepper hair. Her eyes narrowed when the man felt somewhat familiar.
"Gerbert!" Mason and Gerbert exchanged a hug and handshake smiling, and she, too, smiled as she looked at the pair of old friends. Her gaze was drawn to the door when the door was pushed open again. As the man walked in, sliding his phone into his pocket, her jaw clenched. When Onyx's eyes fell on Ophelia, his eyes widened in shock. He came to a halt in front of the door, and Ophelia's fists clenched and they both shouted in unison,
"You!"
