Blinding Lights – Part l
"Also, et war wierklec dir!" Onyx stated, his voice was deadly cold, and he could hear the woman standing at the door trembling in dread. (So, it was really you!)
"E-ech kann erklären!" As she tried to make her point, the woman's voice quiver. (I-I can explain!)
"Huet ech gesot oder hunn ech net gesot datt Dir net däerf iergendeen aneren fécken wann Dir bei mir sidd!" Onyx inquired, almost as if he had reminded her of the term. (Did I or did I not say that you're not allowed to f*uck anyone else while you're with me!)
"E-ech-" (I-I-)
"Känscht net!" Onyx growled and she shut her mouth. (Don't whine!)
"Ech hu geduecht datt mir eis averstane sinn, datt soulaang wéi Dir bei mir sidd, nëmmen ech dech konnt ficken, nëmmen ech konnt dee Kierper vun Ärem beréieren! Du hues souguer e Kontrakt ënnerschriwwen, fir deen ech deng Kuss gefëllt hunn an all Är Ausgaben droen! Also sot mir, Abilene, firwat wars du do mat deem Mann, deen him gär erlaabt dech ze fécken?" Onyx's voice was calm, but his insides were boiling with venom. (I thought we agreed that as long as you were with me, only I could f*uck you, only I could touch that body of yours! You had even signed a contract for which I was filling your c*unt and bearing all your expenses! So tell me, Abilene, why were you there with that man willingly allowing him to f*uck you?)
"Please, hear me out Onyx-" Abilene took a step forward towards Onyx with pleading tear-filled eyes, but the minute his name came out of her lips, Onyx's deadly ice gaze darted towards her and she came to a halt like a statue.
"Maacht mäi Numm net mat deem dreckeg Mond vun Ärem!" His words seemed to have pierced Abilene deep, as her face curved with wrath and she yelled. (Don't utter my name with that filthy mouth of yours!)
"I would take your name Onyx! How can you act like this? Did you forget all about us? You promised I'll be your bride!" Onyx laughed bitterly at her words. "You must be insane to assume I'd take you as my bride! Someone like you who would sell her body for money and pleasure!"
"You were the one who bought me! You have no right to spew crap about me! And, besides, you've been f*ucking your w*hore as well! I never objected! I've never objected before! And you're acting this way toward me because I tried to f*uck someone else!" Abilene snorted, crossed her arms across her chest, and glanced away, her eyes full with pride for what she had said. "This is the first time you've ever insulted me in this way, Onyx. You never stated you bought me with money! It seems that your w*hore has successfully erected a barrier between us! What a witch!" She turned her head towards Onyx, her eyes widening in horror and shock at the monster of a human standing in front of her. Onyx's eyes blazed with the rage that had bottled up within him, a five o'clock shadow hiding his face as the darkness of the room filled his being. His clutch on the glass was so fierce that it snapped and shattered to pieces. Abilene took a quivering step back, and Onyx was pinning her throat against the wall before she realized it.
"She'll be a w*hore if I wish to once I claim her body and soul! But you Abilene, this is the first and final time I'll say it; if you ever disrespect her or call her names in front of me or in front of her, or behind our backs, I'll kill you. And rest assured I'll know if you ever demean her this way in your miserable life again!" As Onyx snarled in a deadly calm and cold voice, Abilene gasped for air, choking on the grasp he had on her neck. "Sinn ech verstanen?" He inquired, and all Abilene could do was nod her head and barely mutter, "J-jo!"
(Have I been understood?) (Y-yes!)
He let go of her neck, and Abilene collapsed on the floor, coughing and gasping for air, trying to fill her burning lungs with as much air as she could.
"Take your filthy self out of my presence!" Onyx growled as he turned around and walked towards the massive glass window.
He didn't turn his head to look at the woman on the floor, and after a while, Abilene rose up to her trembling legs and carried herself out of the penthouse.
"Fannt alles eraus wat Dir iwwer Joanne Smith kënnt." Onyx commanded over the phone and hung up, tossing the phone across his table. He walked out of the office and into his bedroom, carrying a bottle of whisky off the liquor rack.
(Find out everything you can about Joanne Smith.)
"Thank you so much. I'll make absolutely sure we arrive on time." Ophelia enthusiastically replied scribbling things down on the notepad in front of her. It was past noon, and she had been working nonstop since the morning. Mason was on a project inspection with Gerbert and the production team. She was attempting to bury herself in work in order to forget about the previous day. But she was failing terribly as in her mind the scene of Owen standing in front of her half-naked with some random girl in his home kept replying. It enraged her, and she was doing her best not to lash out and hold herself in check.
"Have a good day, Mr. Riven." Ophelia sighed as she hung up the phone and leaned back in her chair, making herself comfortable. She glanced at her watch and noticed it was past her lunch hour. She picked up the phone and dialed the receptionist, who also served as their secretary when Ophelia was unavailable.
"Good day, Ms. Jade." The receptionist's cheerful voice came through,
"Hello, Venus. I'm going out for lunch, I should be back in an hour. If anything comes up, please follow through on the calls and scheduling."
"Of course, Ms. Jade." Ophelia hung up the phone and began loading all of her belongings into her handbag. She stood up from her chair and looked up when the elevator door dinged. Ophelia frowned, not knowing who it was because Mason had mentioned he might be late. When she saw who walked out of the elevator, her face contorted with annoyance and rage.
"You are not welcome here, Owen! Get out!"
