Feisty and Arrogant – Part l;

"Marriage? To a man w*hore like him?" Everyone's eyes widened as she exclaimed, pointing at Onyx.
"I'd rather marry a log than marry him." She spat, and Onyx exclaimed, "Ouch. That hurt."
"I have made up my mind, Father," Onyx said as he stepped closer to where Ophelia stood. He smiled, and Ophelia's head snapped towards him, her eyes narrowed.
"I want to marry her. When will the wedding take place?" Ophelia sneered as Onyx said this.
"This is a joke right?" Ophelia inquired, looking at Mason, and everyone's eyes were drawn to him.
"You didn't tell her?" Gerbert inquired, and Mason nervously laughed.
"Well no worries, now you know. Let's go on a date shall we, meng Léift? We also need to discuss about our wedding ceremony. Your dress, my tuxedo, and the decorations. But first, we must plan the engagement ceremony." Onyx smirked as he stared down at her. (My love.)
"You-" When she felt her father's gaze on her, Ophelia stopped in her sentence. When she glanced at him, she saw despair in his eyes. Ophelia couldn't think of anything more to say.
"Shall we go, léift?" Onyx questioned, smirking and motioning towards the door, and Ophelia began to walk, never looking away from her father. 'I'm going now for you,' Mason could feel her say.
Onyx whispered in her ear as they walked out of the office. "This is for the kick." Ophelia clenched her teeth as he winked with a triumph smirk. (Love)

"I think she is the one," Gerbert stated with a glint in his eye as he looked at the parting couple, and Mason's gaze was drawn to him.
"You think she is the one for him?" With skepticism, he inquired.
"I'm positive she is. They don't realize it yet, but I've never seen someone talk to Onyx in that way without his snapping their neck." Gerbert remarked this as a triumphant smile began to form on his lips. Mason, too, smiled.
"Trust me they are made for each other," Gerbert said and Mason chuckled,
"I'm hoping so."

"I'll have the espresso, please," Onyx said as the server scribbled down his order.
"How about you, madam?" He inquired, and she replied curtly,
"A water!" When Onyx smirked, she narrowed her eyes.
"So, which ring do you prefer? Sapphire? Diamond. Ruby? Emerald?" Onyx asked and she scowled.
"None. I'm not going to marry a jerk like you. Not in this life!"
"So you're saying you'd marry me in your next life?" Ophelia groaned as Onyx smirked.
"Why the f*uck are you so annoying?"
"Thank you, I was born this way," Onyx stated proudly, leaning back in his chair, and Ophelia rolled her eyes.

The waiter brought the espresso for Onyx, as well as the water for Ophelia. "Enjoy your drinks," he said as he stood up straight. The waiter smiled and walked away. Onyx sipped his coffee, while Ophelia scoffed.
"Of course, a bitter person like you would want something as bitter." She muttered, and Onyx nodded.
"That is something I agree with you on."
Ophelia sighed and sat up straight, "Look, I can't marry you—"
"But I will marry you, what are the odds," Onyx said shrugging.
"How are you going to marry me if I don't agree?" Ophelia exclaimed in disbelief, but quickly composed herself.
"Look we shouldn't get married, we won't be happy together. On top of that, you f*ucking slept with my cousin! And remember I told I'll kill you? I even kicked you in the nuts, and you still want to marry me! You must tell your father that you can't marry me!" Ophelia pleaded urgently, and Onyx frowned, perplexed.
"Who? And why? I want to marry you even of you kill me while I'm sleeping. I'll be really happy to wake up every morning with you in my arms, you snuggling into my chest. "Like you did that night," Onyx said with a smirk and her eyes widened.
"What night?"
"That night, I had to leave without saying anything. Which is why you're so upset with me." He smirked, and she looked at him, puzzled. "When I awoke, I found your arms around me, snuggled into my body, your head on my chest. Our bodies molded so perfectly to each other, and you were so warm." Onyx stated with a dreamy expression on his face and noticed Ophelia's face turning red. But this time not with anger. He smirked, and she averted her gaze.
"Why would I do that!" She scoffed and his smirk widened,
"Perhaps your body desired my warmth,"
He shrugged, and she turned to face him. Suddenly, his expression went serious, and she noticed a flash of desire in his eyes. "And I really liked that." She couldn't take her gaze away from him; it was as if his browns had captivated her. His gaze was drawn to her lips as they parted. She groaned as she noticed a smirk forming on his lips again, and she averted her gaze.
"Let's go shall we?" Onyx said this while standing up and narrowing her gaze at him.
"Back to the office?"
"Of course not. We're still on our date, love." He smirked, and she wanted to rip his eyes out, but her father's face flashed across her head, and she stood up, groaning, and followed him to his car.

After driving her around in his car and stopping for lunch, he dragged her to the shopping mall against her will. And all she could do was groan in frustration. It was now evening after a day of misery on her part, and he was driving her to the office.
He stole occasional glances of her, but she refused to take her gaze away from the window.
"Ah, this brings back memories." He said as he drove through the suburbs, and she rolled her eyes.
"Just don't crash like the last time—stop!" She yelled as she sprang in her seat. He instantly pulled over and inquired, his eyes wide.
"What?"
"Turn around! Follow that car." She said this while pointing to a black car on the opposite side of the road.
"Why?" He inquired, and she only yelled, "Just follow that car!" Onyx turned around and followed the car. As the black automobile passed past the gate, he parked the car outside the apartment complex. Ophelia jumped out of the car and dashed towards the apartment complex.
"Hey!" Onyx yelled as he unbuckled his seatbelt and followed her. As the elevator climbed, he followed her up the stairs. She was quick, as she ascended in a flash. She proceeded to the apartment on the 4th level, which was located at the other end of the corridor. As her feet thumped on the tiled floor, her hands clenched in rage. Onyx was perplexed when he saw how enraged she was. Her rage towards him was nothing compared to this and he could only imagine who would be at the other end of her wrath.

Ophelia came to a halt in front of the door, and Onyx frowned as she stood there for a while. She glanced at her watch and banged on the door after about ten minutes. After some time, the door opened, and Onyx saw a shirtless man peek his head out, and Ophelia roared.
"You scumbag!"
