Chapter 18 - Silvia

******Alpha King's POV******

"You ready for this?" Leoni asked me gently as she fixed my tie as we stood in our room.

"Damn right I'm ready." I almost growl but catch myself since I remember that it's only Leoni that's here.

"Sorry angel, didn't mean to sound so harsh with you." I apologise, as she nods softly in understanding.

"You've just got your Alpha guard up, I get it." She smiles, as I smile back at how beautiful she is.

I swear I love her more every single day...

She knows me too well and she's even accepted my flaws since I'm a grumpy asshole most of the time but regardless she seems to still love me.

I'm just not in a great mood since today's the day that I get to finally meet this crazed school teacher.

Yet Alpha Preston and I have both agreed that we don't think she's even a real teacher at all. Whoever she is, I believe she may have something that I want. A very special someone- My daughter.

If I don't find out any information on her whereabouts today I'll surely crack. I've waited two whole days just to meet the witch. Another two whole days without my daughter back home and safe with me...

At this point I'll kill everything and anything to get to her.

A knock is heard on our bedroom door as Leoni walks over cautiously to answer it only
to reveal Preston standing there.

"Ready?" He asks, as I nod gruffly in response.

"Is she here?" I question, as he nods.

"She's in your office with two guards as we speak." He replies, making my blood boil at the thought of someone being seated in my office that might have a hand in my daughters disappearance...

Hell fucking no.

"Can you give my wife and I a minute and I'll be right out." I ask him and he nods and exits the room to wait for me in the hall.

"Don't you go in there all scary or she might not tell you a word..." Leoni tells me softly, as I roll my eyes like a kid being scolded.

"I'll choke the damn words out of her if I have to." I growl, causing her to just smile at me.

"I know you will... but at least try to be calm at first. People tend to not want to face you when you're angry sweet heart." She states, tracing her soft hand down the side of my face.

"I'll get her back." I promise, staring Leoni straight in her eyes.

"I know you will." She kisses me once, before hurrying me out the door to my meeting.

I walk along the corridor with Preston, thankful that he's agreed to come to the meeting with me since he's just as curious about this woman's purpose on his land as much as I am.

"She had the fucking cheek to wave at my son when she walked in to this house...my wife even got the chills." Preston mutters in disbelief, as I growl once in response.

Remember what Leoni said... try to be nice.

"Okay listen, here's how we approach this... we go in here and act like we mean no harm and we try to get information that way... deal?" I state, holding out my hand as Preston nods in agreement and shakes it.

We approach my office, both squaring out our shoulders and standing straight to reach our full height... something that Alphas do naturally when meeting with people.

Here we go...

"Miss Lure is it?" I state, walking in and nodding to the guards to wait outside as they exit.

The woman doesn't even turn or stand to greet me however, she just sits there with her legs crossed over as if it didn't even faze her that I was in the room.

That only boiled my blood...

I walked around to the other side of my desk, as Preston took a seat at the side to be able to see us both in the conversation.

It wasn't until I was opposite her that she looked up and smiled at me sweetly, although her smile was twisted... and dark... as she seemed to look deep into my eyes- studying me.

Her hair was jet black and curled into small ringlets, her skin was as pale as snow itself, her cheeks seemed to sink in deeply and her eyes pierced into me the minute she had lifted her head.

Moments later she just peered back down to the thing that she currently held in her lap, staring at amusedly, as I look to Preston who seems to be stunned at the thing she was holding.

Due to my desk blocking my view, I had to lean all the way forward in my chair to see what was so interesting, only for my stomach to turn making me want to throw up violently the second I saw it...

I sat back in my chair, as I glanced over to the left side of my desk just to double check that I was right with what I saw.

I wasn't hallucinating at all...

The woman was sitting with my daughters picture in her hand staring at it almost...smugly.

She knew something...

"Did I say that you could touch anything in this fucking room you ignorant bitch." I snapped, grabbing her attention as she looked up at me briefly.

"Oh sorry... I just wanted to double check that this was the girl I had been brought here to discuss? Is that not correct Alpha? Oh and may I say, what a looker you are." She winks at the end, followed by her sick smile as she stares me dead in the eye, still holding the picture of Maddison in her hand.

"Put the fucking picture back before I lose my temper and break your face." I growl demonically, causing her to nod once slowly, before reaching over to put the photo back on my desk.

I check the picture to make sure that it's unharmed before glaring back at the witch in front of me.

"What is your first name." I demand, causing her to straighten her posture in amusement.

"Wanting to get all informal with me already Mr. Blood?" She slithers out my last name, causing my skin to itch at her tone.

"It's Alpha or King to you. Don't fucking act smart again or I'll rip your throat out." I stand in my chair towering over her, not liking the way she was going with this whole conversation as she continues to just watch me.

"Silvia." She states, causing me to ease my way back into my seat, glaring at her the whole time.

Good. Now she's going to fucking talk.

"What is your intent whilst being at Alpha Preston's pack? And if I were you, I'd answer it properly or I'll seriously lose my temper and I must admit, I'm itching to kill you at the moment Silvia." I spit out her name, with my tone low and icy as I speak.

"I'm a teacher." She replies as if we were both dumb for asking.

"Bullshit." Preston states, causing her head to whip to stare at him in an instant.

"Problem?" Preston then asks her, challenging her stare, as she shakes her head slowly.

"There's no problem but can we cut to why I'm really here?" She then questions, causing me to grimace at her relaxed tone.

She's really driving me insane.

"You think I took your daughter." She then states, causing me to growl at the hint of amusement I found in her eyes.

What an evil fucking bitch.

But I can't kill her... not if she knows where Maddison is.

"Tell me what you know and you can leave. I can tell that you know where she is." I state calmly, causing her to shrug in response.

"Now... I didn't say I knew where your daughter was... but I do know who took her from you..." Silvia says slowly, gaining my full attention as I search her face for a lie.

She was telling the truth though... she does know who took my daughter...

"Bring them to me!" I roar, causing her to lean back in her chair again.

"I can bring him here in the next day or so... but what will you do to him once you have him?" She smiles wickedly, waiting to hear all the cruel intent that I have for my daughters kidnapper.

"I think it's pretty fucking obvious what I'll do to him. I'll torture him til the sun goes down and until I have my daughter back!" I roar, as she nods, almost satisfied with my reaction.

"He hid your daughter somewhere which is unknown to me... but I can bring him to you... I'll leave him at your pack border no later than two days from now if you promise you'll torture him to death like he deserves." She smirks, causing me to glare at her weirdly.

"What do you have against the man that took my daughter? Why do you want him dead so badly?" I question, finding it rather odd that she was willing to bring him to me so easily.

"He has no more use to me... and I most certainly don't like when people go behind my back and lie to me... You see Alpha, I treated this boy as a son and he has betrayed me and has hidden things from me and therefore you can have him for dead." She finishes, smiling again like it's nothing.

"Why should I let you off if you knew all about him taking my daughter!" I next snap, getting angry again at the woman for keeping such vital details from me about my daughters disappearance.

"Oh Alpha, no you see I didn't know at all... I didn't know he took your daughter until I saw her picture on your desk just now and realised who she was... I seen him take her somewhere a few weeks ago but I just thought she was some random girl." She explains, never dropping her smile.

She was wicked looking.

I couldn't trust her.

But was I about to give up the only person that seemed to know something about my daughter? No.

"Bring him to me. Bring him to me and stay the fuck away from Alpha Preston's land as well. Is that clear?" I demand, as she nods her head slowly.

"It was a pleasure meeting you Alpha." She nods, watching me intently.

"Oh and keep your fucking shit stories to yourself about secret rogue lands. I don't want anymore kids believing it." I growl, as she smiles.

She doesn't stop with that fucking smile!

I want to rip her jaw.

"Just stories Alpha... no harm done." She drags out, before the guards soon enough enter the room to escort her out.

"You've got two days or I'll come and I'll kill you myself." I growl, as she nods in understanding, throwing me a quick wink before she leaves my office.

"Fucking bitch." I grumble, hearing Preston sigh from beside me.

"I don't even know how to process that whole thing..." He admits, looking extremely taken aback by her presence.

"She made me feel so fucking uncomfortable that I hated myself for being weak!" He admits frustratedly.

"She was just a fucking pain in the ass. She was trying to make me feel uncomfortable but nobody can make me feel uncomfortable, especially not that witch." I snarl, I was right when I said I could tell that I'd hate her.

But I had to wait two days to see what was next to come...

Maybe she was my first clue... if all goes well then I'll have my daughters kidnapper in my hands in the next couple of days and oh boy was I excited to meet this fucking piece of shit...

"If her story is correct... then she does know this guy, she seen him pass by her with my daughter not recognising who she was at the time, and she knows that he's hidden her somewhere because she hasn't seen her since but she still has contact with the guy..." I run over her story, Preston nodding hesitantly.

"Something feels off." Preston states, as I nod.

"I know. I can feel it too... and I'll find out what it is." I state.

Whether that means beating the crap out of this guy or tracking this witch down again for answers then I will...

I'll be able to tell right off the bat whether or not he knew Maddison and if he did, he's a goner...
