Chapter 66: A savior came

Standing before the restaurant, Jessica looked around sniffing in the pure and elegant atmosphere. Looking to the left, and then right she would see people either walking randomly or just talking to each other, sitting at isolated places.
Jessie took her gaze to the exterior of the restaurant, it deserved the best title for a restaurant, as it was outrageously exquisite. "Charles had a good sense of treating a lady right," she thought, as the beauty of the restaurant had caught her already.
The flowers at each side of the entrance gorgeously beautifying the whole place, then her eyes caught the glass doors which were tinted.
The security at the door, stood by the side of it, smiling warmly at whoever walks in, like he was undergoing a punishment that made him smile widely.
There was a red canopy placed above his head, probably there to shelter him from the sun, but as it was evening, it didn't feel necessary anymore.
Jessie furrowed her brows, trying to peep through the transparent glass at both sides of the restaurant and her eyes caught people eating happily, most of them in pairs as they chatted and laughed out the sorrow of the world away.
She did not noticed Charles yet, "maybe he was in a more reserved place", she thought.
Jessie finally gathered the courage, and walked to the door, with the security positioned there extending his hands to her as she did, and did a slight bow to greet her, with her responding with the same warmth, showing off a wide smile.
The chills from the air conditioners positioned at the various part of the restaurant fell on her skin immediately she stepped her leg into it.
Her eyes searched around for Charles, till she finally caught him, sitting at a table, waving at her. The wide grin he gave her made gulp in as she smiled at him nervously.
Jessie carried her feeble legs, walking down to where Charles was sitted, muttering words inside as she assured herself that she was going to be just fine.
Charles watched Jessie making her way inside. His lips curved up in a smile, showing little of how exactly he felt.
He was stunned seeing the way she looked, and he could bet he had never pictured her to look that awesome. Usually, he saw her on either trousers, shorts, skirts and every other thing casual.
But today, she walked towards him, wearing a black mini dress, with it's flair dancing with every move that she made, the dress turtle-necked to hide so much skin that begged to show around her neck, with little round cut designs on her shoulder blades.
The black sandals heel she wore, with threads of silvery like substance that danced around it, complimenting her dress perfectly and her beautiful pale skin.
On closer inspection, he noticed her diamond earrings that dangled about with her timid steps, with the necklace that seemed like it came in the same jewelry set as the earrings glittering so brightly.
Before he could take in every single detail of her dressing, "hey," Jessie called out to him and Charles realized he had been caught in the act.
Alas! The tough guy he claimed to be did not save him from admiring her graciousness and beauty.
Charles forced a quick smile and let out a "hello" with his hands motioning for her to sit.
They chatted and giggled softly while digging into the food that had being served.
To Jessie, the point of it was knowing Charles better, and to Charles, finding out her weakness to come at her.
Jessie remembered the conversation she had with Charles, and called his attention to her with a sad grimace that came on her face.
"What is it?" Charles asked, raising his brows in genuine concern.
"It's nothing serious," Jessie stated, trying to reduce the curiosity that was obvious in Charles's eyes.
"Oh, okay," he said in a low tone, "can you tell me then what it is?"
"Well, it's just Rebecca," Jessica started, as she went on and on telling Charles about everything that happened before she came over to meet him.
Charles brows creased, and wrinkles became so prominent on his forehead, as he thought about what the reason may have been that made Rebecca call, and he only hoped that Rebecca had no plan that was in anyway going to disrupt his own plans. From what he knew about Rebecca, she was more dangerous that what she appeared to be.
The date night Charles arranged for the both of them was finally over, and they made their way to Charles's car parked just outside.
Charles smirked as he opened the car for Jessie to hop in, as he had achieved two things. One of it was building the security and trust Jessie had for him, and the other, was pointing out one of her major weakness, emotional hurt. He could notice the fear in her voice when she talked about Rebecca's call and taunts, and he was certain a break up and using a lady to get at her, was a big stroke to the Camel's back.
He hopped into his own side of the car, and drove away, speedingly into the lively streets of Carlton city.
Jessie yawned, as she stepped into the humble apartment of Charles. His home was gradually turning into her second home, so she needed nobody to tell her that whenever she was there at evenings, she was definitely going to pass the night there.
Charles had already stocked up few pairs of night wears for her so she could always sleep at her convenience whenever she was in his house.
She strolled over to the kitchen, and picked up a bottle of water from the fridge, gulping it foraciously as she exhausted and had missed out on drinking water at the restaurant.
"I feel better," Jessie proclaimed, tapping on her chest lightly.
Before Jessie could turn, Charles came behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist romantically.
Jessie gulped noisily, feeling the cold from Charles's hands on her skin. She was aware that it wasn't the first time he was coming that close to her, or touching her that way, but the same fear still lived in her.
She swallowed in her spittle continuously, trying to calm her racing heart and her body that was already beginning to shiver like an imaginary breeze had been blown on her.
"Ermm...," Jessie stammered nervously unable to form a simple sentence.
"You want something?" She managed to say as she loosened his grip around her waist.
Charles smirked at her questioned, and her brought his necks down , resting on the crook of her shoulder and turning his face to hers, with his arms softly pushing her closer to his body, "I want you."
Jessie felt her face heat up in embarrassment again, and a shocking chill running through her spines. The fact that he gained pleasure causing her those feelings, disturbed her the more.
"Charles, maybe you should just...," She let her voice trail off. They were no more words for her to say. Even if she could force the words just anyhow, she was certain Charles did not want to listen, so she decided to keep shut, and continued trying to loosen herself from his grip.
Charles, on the other hand, could not even explain why his desires for her was growing rapidly. Was it the rosy scent of hers that called him in, or it was her beautiful pale skin? No matter what it was exactly, he always longed for her, to the extent that he stopped finding satisfaction in other women.
"Whatever Jessie was doing, even as it was not clear to him yet, was taking the worst effects on him, and he had to do away with her soon," the thoughts flashed into his mind and he smiled crookedly.
Charles turned Jessie to him, and licked the area around her neck while she shivered.
He loosely the zip that ran from the chest of her gown, to her neck then let his let his fingers slip down to her breast.
From the clothes she wore, Charles was able to hold her breasts that were already firm, smiling inwardly as she did.
Was she not the same person that tried to resist him some few minutes ago? And her body was doing the opposite already?
He played with the nipple of the left breast he was able to palm, continuously licking the area of her neck, from her shoulder up to her chin.
Charles raised her to the slab of the kitchen counter, staring at her intently, with a sly smile on his lips as he did.
He pushed the flair of her gown a little to reveal her thighs that were glamorously seductive, and placed his hands on it, sending cold shivers to Jessie's heart as he did.
Jessie began to heat up from his touch, and Charles noticed it. Making it worse, he sent his lips to hers, with his tongues playing with hers as he did.
The feeling Jessie went through became a little unbearable, so she pulled our from the kiss she was in, and sent her arms tightly around him, holding him so closely as she shivered.
Charles noticed the fear in her, and carried her, heading for his rooms, with her arms still wrapping his neck, and her face buried in the crook of his shoulders.
He turned off the lights of the room as he got in, then placed her on the bed, leaving her to stare at him which she found quite difficult to do, thankful to the light that had been turned off, as it allowed her to relax her mind a little.
Charles admired every detail of her body even with the dim lights that shone in the room. Hardening with the heat of her body, he grinned wickedly,
"I am going to feel every part of you, Jessica."
*******
Charles held her wrapped in his warmth, after the pleasurable exercise they had indulged in. He stroked her head continuously, telling her about various moments of his life as she had asked for it.
Jessie had told him that she wanted to know some new things about him, so he was telling her just what she wanted to hear, sieving out the part that he felt was not necessary.
"On that particular day, I happened to rescue a girl in a ditch, after beating the rogues that were after her. She had said a word, and I still hold on to it . She told me that she hoped I was ever going to get help whenever I needed it, and amazingly it has been working for me. I felt she was an angel or prolly sent to me at that moment, because I never saw her again after that day," Charles divulged.
He paused, expecting a response from her. Not getting any, he turned his face to her and was surprised to see that she had slept off.
Charles smirked endlessly, with his gaze fixed on nothing in particular, stroking her hair as he did.
