Chapter 52: Drunk
Michelle
“You found me."
He looked like he was going to fall on the car completely with how weak he looked.
Even his grip on the car wasn't tight at all. I moved closer to him and stood before him, I looked into his eyes to how different they looked.
They have a kind of sheen and glint in them, glowing as they looked at me. He held out his hand to me, making me frown in confusion. What was he doing?
“Vincent?” I asked, looking confused. Liam stood somewhat far behind me, he didn't come close or anything.
"Are you done having the dance with your new boyfriend?” He asked, leaning all of his weight on his car.
“What boyfriend?" I frowned, the only person I had a dance with was Liam, and he isn't my boyfriend.
“You know who I'm talking ab- oh! He's here too." At this point, I had to move forward to support him so he doesn't fall down, his hold on the car was getting slack.
He groaned as he rested his weight on me. “We need to get you into the car, you can't drive in this condition." I said to him as I attempted to go around the car so he could get into the passenger's seat.
“No, I'm okay, I can drive." His stubbornness is just on another level.
“Let me help you." I didn't argue with him, only helped him get into the car. Liam still didn't move forward till I had gotten Vincent into the passenger's seat.
I moved back after closing the door behind him to face Liam who had just moved forward.
“What’s going to happen now? What should I do?” I asked Liam as I ran my hands through my hair.
"I'm sure you can figure it out yourself, this is where I think I should back off, you can take care of him and I know that really well.” He said.
“What? No. I don't know what to do, what are you even saying?"
“You do, Michelle. Take him home or anything, it's all up to you. I have to get going now, some hit chicks are waiting for me back there." He turned around to leave.
"Really, Liam? You'd go back there to go down on ladies?” I asked with a disgusted look on my face. He turned to face me again, a smirk plastered on his face.
“That's the fun part of this night, it's all about going down, yeah? You can even decide to do that with Vin-" I covered my ears with my hand before he could complete the sentence.
"I don't want to hear the rest of it, Liam!” I shouted atop his own voice, making him chuckle.
"Right, am I allowed to go now? Them’ chicks are waiting for me and I can't waste any more minute, bye!" He sauntered away as he blew me a kiss.
I didn't say any more word to him, I only shook my head and walked over to get into Vincent's car. He was already sleeping with his head hanging off the seat when I got in.
The seatbelt was tightly around him so he couldn't fall off, I started driving out of the club, feeling the smooth sensation the car provided from just driving it.
This would be the first time I'd drive a car as luxurious as this, and they're all for him, how it's almost hard to get any sound from the engine was just so interesting.
I've only ever tried to drive when I was taking driving lessons, and I tried it with a manual car, this one is way more upgraded than that.
The road ahead was really smooth and I got to an intersection where I'd turn to where he lives. That's where the problem is, I can't remember the turning he took as I wasn't in my right frame of mind on that day.
I tried to call Liam but he wasn't picking his calls, probably after getting lost in the ‘fun’ of the night. There's really no other person I can call, except I ask Vincent himself.
I shook him awake and he only groaned in response, his eyes were still tightly shut. I tried to wake him again and he moved this time.
“Vincent.” I called him.
He groggily opened his eyes, his tired eyes looked at mine before he sat up a little bit.
“I don't know where to turn to." I mumbled.
He looked outside the car, groaning at the movement alone then looked back at me.
"Turn left." He ordered.
I put the car in drive again and did as he said, he was wide awake for the rest of the drive to his house, telling me the next turns and all.
I turned to his house without him telling me, the gate was opened automatically and the car drove into the compound.
When I got in, I got out of the car first, hearing the door to the passenger's seat also click open and Vincent got out. He swayed a bit as he held on to the door.
“Do you need me to help you?" I asked as I got to him, his eyes were closed too as though he was trying to get rid of something.
"Uh, no." His voice was kind of cracky as he said that, he opened his eyes and tried to walk again but he fell right on me since I was behind him.
He's obviously heavier than me so I fell right to the ground, I wasn't even expecting him to sway backwards that way.
And to make matters worse, he passed out right on me. I couldn't move for few seconds before I started feeling suffocated with how heavy his weight was.
I pushed him such that he was now lying on the floor. When I stood up, I saw a man walk towards us and I almost jumped up in excitement.
“What did you do to him?" He asked as he bent down to assess Vincent. The uniform he's putting on made me know that he's a security guard.
He turned to look at me with a murderous look on his face.
“Did you drug my boss? I'll call the cops on you if you don't start talking."
