Chapter Sixteen

A few hours later, we had all of dads and Celestial's stuff packed in boxes, placed next to the front door. Sabrina, Mark and my stuff were already moved into the very large hidden room into the bedrooms we had designated for ourselves.

"Phew!" Sabrina wiped her forehead with the back of her hand after setting the last box down by the front door. "We killed it, I would say!"

I laughed at her. "So, what else can we do with our powers?"

"Don't worry about that right now, Morgan. I promise, we will find it all out together. I still don't know half of what our powers are." Sabrina rubbed the back of her neck, looking away from me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." I sighed, looking away from her towards the door.

Sabrina smiled at me. "No! That is so not what I meant. I still don't know all of it, that's why I said we will figure it out together, cuz!" She giggled and pulled me into a hug. We're cousins. This feels so surreal.

"Alright you two," Celestial walked in on our giggling fest, "go get cleaned up for dinner. I already ordered the food, so it should be here soon. Both your fathers will be here soon too. I just got off the phone with him."

Sabrina and I rushed up the stairs to my actual room and washed up as we were told to do, giggling and talking the entire time.

*Knock Knock*

I looked up to see Mark standing in the doorway as Sabrina and I sat on my bed.

"Hey, pizza's here."

"THANK GOD! I'M STARVING!!!" Sabrina groaned loudly, clutching her stomach as it growled loudly at the thought of food.

Mark and I laughed at Sabrina's dramatic personality. "You're such a drama queen."

"I know!" She stood up, flipping her hair over her shoulder, sticking her nose so far in the air that she looked like one of the snobby high school girls we deal with. I buckled over laughing.

"You look like those snobby bitches when you do that!"

"I know, that was the point." She winked at me over her shoulder. *'I love my cousin'*

We all walk back downstairs, the smell of pizza floating up to us, intoxicating our minds and making our mouths salvate. Sabrina and I fought each other to get down the stairs first so we could get to the food. Celestial had ordered hot wings for the men, about 60 of them, bacon and pepperoni with extra cheese pizza, their hawaiin pizza which consisted of pineapple and Canadian bacon with extra cheese. I know the argument going on the internet about pineapple not being good on pizza, but by God, was it heavenly to me. She also had ordered three orders of cheese bread and 4 2-liters of soda. Just as we had reached the kitchen, my dad and John had walked in.

"Boy, oh boy!" My dad clapped his hands together, rubbing them quickly. "I smell some hot wings up in here!" He waltzed over to Celestial as she was setting out plates, cups and napkins for all of us, and wrapped his arms around her waist from the back, kissing her cheek ever so softly. "You're the absolute best honey!"

Celestial giggled like a school girl from the contact. I sighed. I was going to miss them dearly. We all gathered food onto our plates. Heading to the table, Mark pulled out both mine and Sabrina's seats, before setting himself down next to me. We all dug in, each of us groaning at the excellent food in front of us. After 45 minutes of silence and stuffing our faces, Sabrina and I crashed together on the couch, awaiting everyone else to join us.

"Oh Celestial, you know how to make a man feel at home." John patted his very full stomach. Sabrina and I snickered.

"John, you know you're always welcome to dinner. I am sorry it wasn't exactly 'home cooked'." She patted his arm as her and Mark walked into the living room, sitting down on either side of Sabrina and I. Mark grabbed my hand in his and kissed the back of it. I blushed a nice shade of pink. The contact between him was still an electrifying feeling.

"Now," Celestial began as John and my dad filed into the living room, "what about this 'mate bond' you were talking about earlier?" Celestial crossed her legs and her arms, staring intently at the two, rather large men standing in front of us. It's hilarious to say that we could feel their anxiety about the topic with Celestial staring at them.

"Erm- well, you see..." John started, trying to find the correct words for the explanation. "We're actually Werewolf hybrids." All our mouths dropped, including Marks.

"What, what do you mean by that?!" Celestial shot up, now glaring at both men. "Chris, why didn't you tell me?!" She was furious, especially at my dad.

"I mean, we're hybrids. We shift, but rarely. Our human sides are more prominent. We may be strong, but not nearly as strong as a regular Werewolf." My dad rubbed the back of his neck.

"So that means that we-" Sabrina and I looked at each other, thinking the same thing. "We're part Werewolf too....?" Our voices trailed off, still looking at each other before giggling insensibly.

"Yes, that's why Morgan reacted the way she did to Mark, because their mates, the mate bond is still stronger than anything. Which, by the way, you hurt her and I'll kill you myself." My dad pointed his finger at Mark, making Mark shrink slightly behind me. Mark cleared his throat.

"No, sir, I will not hurt her."

"Good."

"So what does that mean for us though?" I asked. "We're already sorceresses, does that mean that we also have Werewolf capabilities? OH CAN WE SHIFT?!" I jumped up with enthusiam, trying to figure out what color wolf I would be. Everyone busted out laughing.

"No, no sweetie. You can't shift, otherwise you both would have shifted already." My dad wiped a tear from his eye, holding his stomach from laughing so much.

"Damn." I slumped back on the couch, puffing out my bottom lip in a pout. Sabrina patted my head.

"Poor Morgan, I know, that would have been pretty awesome too." Sabrina whispered.

"Technically you girls are mostly sorceresses, the werewolf side, is extremely insignificant. You may possess the abilities, but not all of them. If you do have an inner wolf, that would honestly surprise me." John sat down on the other couch, looking at Sabrina and I. "I can't honestly smell your wolves, but that doesn't mean they may or may not be dormant. Your powers might be keeping them at bay. If you happened to have wolves, you two would be the most powerful beings around these parts." He bit into his pizza, savoring the flavors that were seeping onto his tounge.

"Yes, I suppose your right." My dad said, sitting next to John. "But what I'm wanting to know is what Irvine said." We all shot him a look. John looked up from his pizza.

"What did he say?" John asked quizzically, concern flooded his face.

"*Things are changing and terrible things are coming.*"

"What do you think he meant by that?"

"I'm not sure, but this is something you're going to have to keep an eye on." My dad patted John's shoulder. "I need you to protect my girl."

"I'll die protecting both of them, you know that. We're family." John half-smiled at my dad, then looking towards Sabrina and I. "As long as the two of you stay out of trouble." He winked at us. We smiled innocently.

"Us? Get into trouble? As if!" Sabrina scoffed. I giggled.

"Mhm." Celestial hummed, looking down at the both of us. "You two can't seem to stay away from trouble."
