Chapter Fifty-One

"We are at war."

Her voice, small and soft, echoed through the room. Every single person's attention was solely fixed on her. I walked up to her, standing beside her to help her keep calm. I could tell she wasn't the best at public speaking, and from the group projects we did, she was always quiet back in school too. She glanced over at me, a small smile gracing her face. Her demeanor did a complete 180 degree turn. She was more confident, more assertive in her words and the way she spoke.

"This war is not one that we can win so easily. The Council is up to something major, although I don't know exactly what. They are creating Hybrids, mixing witches, vampires, socerers, and werewolves alike. You all caught a glimpse of this earlier today. They're becoming stronger as the days continue forward. We will need all the help we can. I have already sent word to many of the major kingdoms surrounding us and from across the way for their aid. The Council is trying to completely wipe out every single "ungodly like creature" from the face of this Earth. Under no circumstances can we allow this to happen. Now, on to the main Council members."

She went through each member of the Council. Each one had some type of ability, combination of creatures, or were stronger then the rest of the army they were creating. The main Elder, Mr. Schmidt, was the worst of all. Not only was he a socerer, he was considered an undead, walking among the living. How the hell that's even possibly was beyond me. As Violet continued, the room grew deadly silent. It was going to take a lot for everyone to process what was heard tonight.

"I have a plan, but it's not something that will be properly executed. Many people are going to die during this war, that's something I can definitely tell you. Many of the hybrids that have been created, they never wanted anything like this to happen to them. They were peaceful and had this done against their will, myself included. There is a number of Hybrids that are wanting to turn against the Council and take them out completely. I will be rendevousing with them tomorrow night. In the meantime, I suggest making a list of as many packs, covens, clans, anyone that you can get on our side immediately and touching base with them. We are going to need all the help we can get. As of right now, we are on their playing field. We need the upperhand in this. Mark," Victoria turned towards Mark, making him jump slightly. I giggled, along with many of the other pack members, under my breath at the sight. "I sent word to your father. Now I know what happened, but he has the strongest pack, and he agreed to help. He knows you both are here and is quite pleased at the recon that you have completed while being here. I sent him as much information as I could. I do advise one more important detail: stay together. They will not attack large groups. A tactic that may force their hand. As long as you are surrounded by each other, you will be less likely to be attacked. These Hybrids who are wanting to fight and are following orders, they prefer to attack 2-3 people at most. Large groups will deter them from attacking. Sabrina and Morgan, it would be beneficial for you both to create multiple training rooms. Some should definitely be elemental proof."

"You got it! We're going to have to create extra rooms anyway to house all these people coming in as well. I'm just glad this house isn't exactly in the center of town." Sabrina giggled, looking towards me. Determination written all over her face. I nodded at her, rubbing my hands together, I stepped forward.

"So, who's ready for this war?!" The whole room burst into an uproar. Many I could tell were uneasy, but were willing to stand for their Alpha and Luna. I watched as everyone started to exit their seats, mingling amongst each other. Ideas of protecting the woman, children and elderly who could no longer fight anymore started forming in my head. There is going to be so much death coming to us and every single person here was okay with that aspect. Mark had told me that each person, family, child, adult, and elderly all came from packs that had been either wiped out or had to scatter apart because of poor Alpha leadership. I look back at Mark, who's talking to Sabrina, Victoria and Nathan. The wheels in his mind were also turning. Fear started to course my body. I could feel something bad was about to happen, and it was coming sooner than any of us realized. I just couldn't put my finger on it. Standing there, watching everyone smiling and cheering for their Alpha and making plans for this war, I couldn't help but be fearful for my friends, my mate, my family.

Standing there, I made a decision I haven't made in quite awhile. It was time to contact my dad and Celest. Maybe they would be able to help me with some ideas. Even Celest might have some foresight into this war.

*Crash*

"What the fuck was that?!"

*Crash*

*'What the hell is going on?'* Every one in the room quieted instantly. We could hear the banging, thrashing about upstairs. Someone was here, and it definitely wasn't someone we invited.
