34- Where is my secretary?
-Good morning, sir! Welcome back to Industrias Aller S.A.
The woman stopped smiling, puzzled that her boss didn't make a sound.
-Sir? Are you all right?
The new presidential secretary saw her boss's face turn paper white at first, and that the heir had a tan, almost golden hue, and then slowly turn a furious red. His jaw clenched tightly, tensing his face, the veins in his temples stood out and the CEO's dark brown eyes turned black as darkness.
The young woman recoiled in fright, falling back into her seat, not knowing what to do or what to say.
-Where is my secretary?
-Sir, I am your secretary," she could barely say.
-You know very well what I mean!" she shouted loudly, drawing the attention of all the other employees, "Where is Helena?
-I... I... I- I...- The secretary began to babble just on the verge of tears. Katlyn had promised her that once she got rid of Helena one of them would get the job and to her luck she had conceived it to her, although at those moments she was beginning to regret it.
-Helena is no more.
A male voice spoke behind the back of the heir, who turned his back to the young woman who sighed in relief at the sudden rescue, and CEO glared like a fierce beast at the man who had dared to interrupt.
-What did you say?" he warned the human resources manager, who had peeked out when he heard the fuss his boss was making.
-Let's talk in your office, Mr. Aller," he exclaimed calmly, although inside he was dying. He knew that this moment would come and that his young boss would make a fuss when he heard that the inexperienced young woman had left.
-Where is Helena? I leave the office for a while and they do whatever they want? Who authorized this? I'm the boss here! I want my old secretary back! she shrieked, rattling the walls.
-Sir, please, I'm asking you to calm down...
-I don't calm down at all, not until you do your job well. Don't think I've forgotten that you didn't want Helena for this job....
The man sighed, knowing he would not win this battle.
-Sir I had nothing to do with the decision, your former secretary resigned.
Sebastian, who had turned back to the window, turned quickly to his human resources manager, who swallowed nervously.
-He said threateningly, hoping that what the man had just said was just a joke in very bad taste.
-Helena DeLuna tendered her resignation, sir, a few days after you left for your honeymoon....
-And how did this happen?! How could she have resigned from such a high paying position like this? Tell me now the name of those responsible for this....
-The manager didn't know how much longer he could stretch the most serious information of all this, he slowly walked in reverse and with dissimulation towards the exit, because he knew that once his boss found out where Helena had gone to work, the CEO would become a hurricane and would sweep everything and everyone away.
-Where did she go?" he threatened, tightening his grip on the edge of the table, "Wherever it is, you're going to double her salary, triple it if necessary! But I want her back...
-Mr. Aller... -It's that...
-WHAT?
-Deluna went to her brother's company, Mr. Alan's....
After the manager finally revealed the truth there was silence in the office, the employees who were listening behind the door looked at each other in confusion, and when they heard the CEO shout from the other side they jumped in fright and ran to hide behind their computers.
-HOW?!!!!
-Y-yes sir... She left with Mr. Alan....
-That bastard!" he shouted throwing everything on top of his desk, smashing valuable things to pieces on the floor.
The man recoiled in fear.
-Please calm down, we can sort this out.....
Sebastian stopped himself from throwing the files that were on the shelf to walk like a beast to the man and grab him by the tie, almost choking him.
-If you could have solved it, you would have done it before I arrived," he muttered between his teeth.
The manager opened and closed his mouth like a fish, trying to get some air into his lungs, he was red as a tomato, almost purple when Sebastian pulled him backwards, making the man fall face first to the floor and open the door wide, showing everyone how furious the CEO was.
The man coughed loudly and crawled like a worm away from the young heir.
-You!" he shouted to his new secretary, who was about to faint from fear, "get my car ready for me right away, you hear me?
-Y-yes sir," answered the poor woman who quickly dialed the parking lot.
-AND CLEAN UP THE MESS! I want everything tidy by the time I get back to my real secretary," she ordered before leaving the office on fire.
-Mr. Aller, your brother is in the entrance hall, he says he wants to see you," spoke the receptionist to Alan's intern.
-Send him up," she ordered with an enviable calmness.
-Are you sure, sir? He is quite upset, he has already yelled at three employees....
The youngest Aller couldn't help but laugh to the woman's bewilderment.
-Yes, more than sure, tell him to come up, thank you my dear- and he cut her off, to lean back against his leather armchair and wait with a broad smile for his dear older brother.
He reached for his communicator and dialed the extension of his new secretary, who quickly and with her cheerful tone with which she used to talk to her new boss answered:
-Yes? What do you need?
-Linda, will you prepare two coffees for me and my guest? - Alan smiled with satisfaction when the redhead answered positively, "Thank you sweetheart, bring them to my office in 10 minutes.
Alan couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.
