48 - My captor

Helena was awakened from the world of dreams by a severe headache that cruelly squeezed her temples. She released a groan of discomfort and raised one of her hands to her head, trying to pacify the pain.

For a moment he refused to open his eyes, his bed, as never before, felt soft and fluffy. Her sheets caressed her skin lovingly and the embracing warmth of the heater worked better than ever.

"Just a moment."

She said to herself inwardly and even with her eyes closed.

She no longer had a bed or a mattress or a heater or anything.

She was sleeping on a park bench and her perception of reality had been altered?

Slowly she began to open her eyes, trying to recover the memories of her recent past and be able to put the pieces together.

She had left the apartment, completely helpless and had been robbed, she remembered that perfectly.

Then...

-David...

Her best friend's name came out as a whisper from her throat.

He opened his eyes with a start.

"David was still alive?"

He could be agonizing on the cold living room floor of his house, after....

And he remembered everything.

He looked around, searching for signs of Sebastian, but the penthouse appeared to be empty.

With trembling hands she tried to get up, feeling the migraine increase and her stomach hurt horrendously.

She held her belly and looked down.

She noticed to her bewilderment that she was not wearing last night's clothes, but rather a t-shirt many sizes larger than she wore, imitating a nightgown.

She saw her legs completely bare and knew that she had once again been used against her will.

He felt the pain in his gut and in his most intimate area as he remembered that painful day.

As best he could he ran with his heart in his throat towards the exit, he didn't care about being without pants and shoes, he needed to escape from that cage before his kidnapper came back and did more things to him. He simply couldn't take any more humiliation, let alone being conscious.

He reached the door and grabbed the handle with trembling hands, turning it in desperation, realizing that the door was locked.

-Come on, open up," he begged softly, tugging at the door without success.

-Helena?" the deep, deep voice of her former boss was heard in the distance, causing the redhead to jump.

-No... no..." she sobbed looking for the keys.

-Are you awake yet?

She heard footsteps approaching in the distance.

Sebastian was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast as he had never done before, when he heard noises outside. He quickly approached the room, finding the bed empty. Worried, he went to the bathroom, expecting to find the young woman vomiting again, but nothing.

Strange, he walked towards the exit.

-Helena? he asked cautiously. Discovering the redhead struggling with the door.

-Stay away," the young woman pleaded, leaning her body against the door and using her hands as a shield.

-Calm down..." exclaimed the CEO raising his hands with open palms, showing that he had nothing in them, "I'm not going to do anything to you...".

-No...- he laughed sarcastically- Because you already did it last night- he exclaimed with a lump in his throat.

Helena looked at her chances, and quickly grabbed a silver-tipped umbrella that rested by the side of the door.

"Did she really think he'd hurt her?"

-Not another step.

-I don't know what you're talking about...I haven't done anything to you-

-And why am I naked? Where are my clothes?

Sebastian sighed in anguish, closing his eyes in the process. He knew that as soon as the sun came up things would go back to the way they used to be between them, it seemed like she could never trust him and he didn't blame her.

-Your clothes are being washed right now, what did you expect, that I'd let you sleep in my bed with all your clothes full of vomit?

Helena didn't let her guard down, stretching the tip of the umbrella towards Sebastian, trying not to let him tremble and discover that inside he was dying of fear.

-I don't believe you.

The cruel but true words of the redhead were like daggers in the CEO's heart.

-It's true what I say, you have memory, you were drunk and you fell completely asleep. You asked me to stay with you while you were sleeping! - he exclaimed indignantly.

Helena turned red with shame, but she was not willing to give in.

-But you still kidnapped me!

-I didn't!" he exclaimed in exasperation, making Helena hold her knife tighter, "I saved you from the depraved man who claims to be your friend, you should thank me!

-He wasn't doing anything to me! It was me who didn't want to stop drinking! -She exclaimed ashamed- he only wanted to help me...

-That's not what I saw..." she denied.

-And that's why you had to beat him to a pulp?

Sebastian didn't answer, trying to slowly approach the redhead.

-Take me to David, I want to see how he's doing. - ordered the young woman.

-No," sentenced the CEO, showing his eyes full of dark shadows, "If you want to know how that idiot is so badly, I can send someone to check him out.

-You can't keep me here forever..." he said trying not to shake his voice.

"Yes I could" Thought the heir, but he didn't say it.

-This is not a kidnapping Helena, now put the umbrella down and come to breakfast.

-No.

-And where are you going to go eh? I don't think David can help you for a while and home you don't have anymore..." he said cruelly.

Helena's eyes opened wide, letting her jaw drop.

-How do you know...?

-You shouted it all night- she said rolling her eyes, completely losing her patience- now stop your tantrums- she exclaimed and in a quick movement she took the object from his hands before he could even react- and come to breakfast, then we'll talk about the agreement.

-Agreement?

Sebastian said nothing more and walked towards the kitchen.

Helena looked at the young man getting away with it and clenched her fists tightly before following behind her captor.
