58 - An exemplary wife

Helena awoke slowly, still feeling weak, but with a comforting sense of peace, for the first time in a long time she had been able to sleep straight through, uninterrupted in the middle of the night by the nightmares that tormented her daily.

Opening her eyes, her gaze fell on Sebastian, who was asleep in the chair next to her bed. A mixture of surprise and gratitude filled her heart as she realized that he had spent the entire night watching over her well-being.

Sebastian awoke feeling a sharp pain in his back from sleeping in the hard chair. He looked at the bed, checking to make sure Helena was still there, meeting those bulging eyes staring at him in disbelief.

The CEO couldn't remember at what point he had fallen asleep, but he had planned to leave before the redhead woke up. He was embarrassed to admit that he cared about her as much as he cared about being her night watchman.

-I seem to have fallen asleep here," he joked, rearranging his suit that he was still wearing.

-Did you watch over me all night?" she asked in surprise.

-Yes... or so I tried to.

The redhead couldn't help but feel deeply grateful for his concern.

-It wasn't necessary... Sebastian. She couldn't call him "Boss" or "Mr. Aller" when he had literally watched her sleep.

The heir lowered his gaze, unable to hide his appreciation.

-I just wanted to make sure they were all right.

"They were fine."

Those two words repeated in Helena's mind.

The CEO had been concerned about both her and her baby girl.

The young woman remembered the study that had been done.

"Did I want to lie to him? No, but I wasn't sure how he would react if he knew the truth."

-I think we should get ready to go to work- exclaimed the young woman.

Helena obeyed, making herself comfortable on the bed.

-If anything happens, don't hesitate to call me," she ordered before leaving the apartment.

The heir would have liked to kiss her goodbye, but he had to restrain himself and quickly escape from the room.

Sebastian's heart nearly leapt out of his mouth when he opened his office door to find Katlyn pouncing on him as if she were about to murder him.

The CEO wanted to roll his eyes

"He'd only been gone a few hours!!! Every night he was with her! And nothing had even happened with Helena..."....

Sebastian swallowed a frustrated sigh and simply hugged her, as he knew she liked him to.

-I'm an idiot I know... I'm sorry, I promise I'll make it up to you, okay?

Katlyn seemed to calm down, hugging her husband too.

-Just don't let it happen again.

-Yes, honey.

Katlyn walked away, grabbing her small bubblegum pink purse that matched her bubblegum pink two-piece suit.

-Are you leaving already?

-Yes... I have a meeting with the girls.

Sebastian was relieved by this, he thought Katlyn would ask for her compensation right there on his desk.

-Send my regards to the girls then," he smiled relieved.

-I'll give it to them," exclaimed the millionaire, waddling out of the office.

Finally, the CEO was able to throw himself back in his chair, feeling a pounding headache.

He had no idea how much longer he could put up with his own lies.

Alan was in his presidential office when he saw his intern call.

-Hello?" he spoke indifferently.

Hello Alan, it's Katlyn, your sister-in-law!

The youngest Aller suddenly stood up from his seat, if anything put him in a good mood it was the woman's voice. He couldn't believe she was calling him!

-Hello, beautiful! How are you?

-I'm very well..." answered the blonde, who wanted to get to the point as soon as possible. She didn't care about Alan's life- Listen wedge, are you busy?

-Never for you, sweetheart.

The young woman laughed amused.

-So, do you think we should meet? I have something to ask you.

Alan felt his cheeks light up, and not only that, his whole body was activated just imagining what the blonde of his wettest dreams could ask him.

Was she finally going to get it?

-Would you like to meet at your apartment?" the blonde asked blatantly. He needed a private place, he didn't want the employee mobs to see his boss's brother's wife coming into the office alone with him.

Rumors would spread and Sebastian didn't have to find out that she distrusted his word.

-Yes, of course... - answered the young millionaire nervously, who had never been alone with the woman before -I'll wait for you there then.

Alan quickly left his company without giving any explanations. He wanted to arrive as soon as possible to meet his beloved.

Finally, the blonde entered the young Aller's bachelor apartment.

Alan sat very close to the blonde, resting his hand on her back and caressing her back.

He was going to taste everything about her, every nook and cranny would be tested, marking her forever as his property, just as he had done with Helena.
