86- Run!

Alan dragged Katlyn into the elevator and they went up to the top floor, where the private
office that had been his older brother's was located and would soon be his when his baby
son was born and he could collect all of his inheritance and therefore all of the estates his
late brother had left behind.
Katyln leaned against the farthest mirror in the elevator, getting as far away from Alan as she
could.
-I don't know what you're planning, honey, but please don't go on.....
-Calling me sweetheart has no effect on me anymore, you don't have me at your feet
anymore.
-Alan, you've got it all! You have me, you have your heir and your family's entire company...
Stop it!
-Shut up," said the man, looking at his reflection in the mirror.
He had put on his best suit that fit his triangular back and narrow waist perfectly, with pegged
pants and a shirt, all the same black color, just like his eyes and hair.
She bent down and polished her shiny black leather shoes with a handkerchief and again
looked at her reflection arranging her hair back.
-How do I look? Do you think Helena likes me?" he exclaimed as if he were a madman in his
own reality.
Katlyn looked at him from her corner with both fear and contempt. That man had lost his
mind a long time ago and she felt that at that moment he would be capable of anything
without measuring the consequences.
The blonde felt that all this was going to end badly and not only for her but for everyone
around him. Alan would drag all his victims along with him to the depths of hell.
The elevator signaled that they had reached the top floor and Katlyn was grabbed by the
arm and once again dragged down the hallway.
Where are you taking me," she exclaimed, trying to get free, "Why do you want me here if
you want to see Helena?
-I want you always near me, you won't have a second without my eyes on you, I won't let
you ruin my plans," he said, opening a door of one of the offices and throwing the young
woman inside, "You're staying here until I'm done.
-Wait, Alan," the youngest Aller bolted the door, locking the blonde in, who was pounding
hard on the door, "Help," she cried out in desperation.
The man laughed, mocking her.
-Don't you realize that we are on the top floor of a completely empty building? Don't even try,
save your energy for me.
The man walked out of there and into his older brother's office.
-Very nice," he exclaimed, looking at his brother's decorations, "This is going away.
He took the plaque that was on the desk with his brother's name engraved on the metal and
threw it to the side carelessly and took out of his pocket a new plaque with his name
engraved on it, he carefully placed it in the same place, trying to make sure it was well
placed and straight.
-Perfect," he exclaimed smiling and contemplated how good it looked on the furniture, then
he sat down on his brother's chair and sighed feeling victorious, turned on the computer and
turned on the cameras of the place, waiting for Helena's arrival.
After a few minutes, he saw a cab slowing down at the entrance and how the red-haired
woman got out of the car and looked at the building.
-Oh, hello beautiful," he exclaimed, looking at the image of the young woman, "We meet
again.
Helena got out of the car and looked at the big building where all her ordeal had started, but
where she had met the love of her life, now that she knew the truth, little by little her heart
that had turned to ice warmed up again and pounded hard in her chest, knowing that there
were only a few minutes left to meet Sebastian again.
She approached the front door and heard the click of the door being unlocked, she looked
up at the camera above her and saw that the light was on.
"Was Sebastian watching her at that moment?"
She felt nervous, imagining the man's dark eyes staring at her.
She walked in, remembering the first time she had stepped into that hall, how everything had
been chaos and how one of the employees had taken her to Sebastian's office mistaking her
for a cleaning lady, she felt that it had been yesterday when she had crossed glances with
that man with a dark and hurt look, at that moment she didn't know it, but he was a broken
man who only needed love, just like her.
She walked through the hall and reached the private elevator, which was with the door open
as if it had been waiting for her arrival, she entered and while waiting to reach the top floor
she observed her reflection in the mirror.
Helena knew she was different, after becoming a mother her body had not been the same,
her belly had become flabbier and her breasts were bigger, besides her tired face from days
without sleep at night.
"What if Sebastian doesn't think I'm attractive anymore? What if he doesn't like me
anymore?" she thought worriedly.
"I should have dressed up for the meeting!" she exclaimed observing her matted hair and
tucked-in clothes.
The elevator opened on the top floor, the redhead peered down the dark empty hallway of a
night with no employees and swallowed nervously, this was no time for regrets.
She walked cautiously down the hallway, knowing that the reunion was only a short time
away.
She reached what had been her desk and smiled as she knocked on the wood.
"So many memories" He thought wistfully.
She looked to the side, to the presidential office, a door separated her from the love of her
life. She walked slowly towards the door, feeling that her knees would buckle at any moment
and slowly opened the door which creaked with a high pitched sound.
Her heart stopped, the silhouette of a man in a suit was turning his back to her, as he gazed
out over the sleeping city.
-Sebastian?
Katlyn was in a ball on the other side of the door, hiding her face in her knees, waiting for
Alan to deign to come and get her or leave her there to die a slow death, she didn't know
which was worse, the second option was tempting.
When she heard helena's voice name Sebastian.
She quickly got up from the floor and banged the door loudly.
-Helena! It's not Sebastian! Run!
Helena jumped as she heard the screams of Katlyn, who seemed to be locked in, from the
office next door.
Everything happened faster than she could react, when she understood what the blonde was
trying to tell her and that her brain could process it and send the alert signal to her feet to run
away from there, Alan was already in front of her taking her by the arm and pulling her into
the office.
