74 - Disappear
Sebastian did not know how he got to the building where Helena's apartment was without crashing with the car, his mind was spinning in thousands of thoughts that were pressing his temples and in his vision he saw everything red because of the double betrayal, besides his tears were asking to come out of his sad eyes clouding his sight even more.
He needed Helena, he needed a hug from the young woman, to comfort him and tell him that everything was going to be all right, and that she loved him, he needed her love medicine.
He arrived at the building and this time he used the keys, going up to the top floor and quickly entering the apartment.
-Helena..." he exclaimed with a broken voice, waiting for a meeting with the redhead, but no one answered his sad call.
He walked through the apartment in surprise.
-Love," he asked worriedly.
Nothing, Helena didn't answer him.
-If you're mad at me, I... I came to tell you everything..." He peeked into the room, looking straight at the empty, unmade bed.
He burst in and looked around, there was no trace of the young woman, a horrible feeling ran down his spine and he ran into the room which was the young woman's closet, finding the drawers and doors open, clothes lying all over the place and the place where the bag should be, was now empty.
Sebastian fell to his knees on the floor, feeling the sharp pain of his bones against the hard floor, but which was not as painful as the one he was beginning to feel in his heart.
What was happening?
He wondered in his mind, not having a coherent answer.
Had she found out everything before he came to tell her the truth? But how?
"Katlyn..." Was all she could think.
She quickly grabbed her cell phone, realizing that her hands were shaking and that she was crying, because salty drops were soaking the screen of the cell phone as she looked up Helena's number.
He dialed and leaned the device against his ear, while with his other hand he covered his own mouth to keep the choked cry in his throat from coming out.
-Hello?
-Helena! What a relief I thought ....
-Bullshit, I'm not available right now, leave a message.
The CEO redialed again and again, and nothing. Helena was not answering.
For a moment he felt defeated, sitting on the floor with his legs stretched out looking at a fixed point in the distance, but then a need to reclaim the only genuine thing he had ever had in his entire life came over him, making him get up off the floor and rush out of the apartment, heading for the only place he thought Helena might be.
He knocked loudly on David's apartment door, surely waking up all the neighbors.
-Helena! I know you're in there, please come out, I want to talk to you- He kept knocking on the door without getting an answer.
-Helena, please," he begged, "Let me explain....".
He took his cell phone and dialed the red woman's number, listening to the ringtone of her cell phone inside the apartment.
-Helena, please!
The door burst open, meeting not Helena, but David, who barely opened the door to peek out with a face of disgust.
-Get out of here animal, Helena wants nothing to do with you.
Sebastian didn't listen to him, he quickly opened the door with superhuman strength, pushing David in his way.
-What are you doing?" shouted the man, when he saw that the eldest Aller entered his apartment and searched like an animal for the whereabouts of his beloved.
-Helena..." he exclaimed with a broken voice when he saw her appear in the living room, when the young woman heard the fuss the CEO was making.
As soon as her eyes met Sebastian's dark ones, her face showed an expression of terror that the young man never thought it would provoke in the redhead.
-Get out of here," he exclaimed, backing away.
-Helena... please, let me explain....
-There's nothing to explain! I don't want to see you anymore!
-I-I don't know what Katlyn told you but....
-Don't bring your wife into all this you sick bastard! -he shouted with all his accumulated hatred- Leave me alone, you already used me more than once Are you happy? Now go away I never want to see your face again.
-But my love...
-She said go away- -David threatened behind the CEO.
-I don't know what you're talking about, I love you, Helena....
Helena laughed wryly as thick tears of pain streamed down her face.
-Love? You call it love to rape a person?
-What?" he exclaimed in bewilderment.
He expected Helena to tell him anything.
Infidelity. Katlyn's baby, anything, but not that.
Helena's words left him frozen and not knowing how to act.
-I-I don't know what you're talking about.
-Please go away," he exclaimed painfully, hugging his own body.
David grabbed him forcefully by the back of his suit and began to pull him away from Helena.
Sebastian saw that he was pulling away from her and his beloved was not looking him in the eyes.
-I never want to see you again," he said painfully.
-Helena..." he exclaimed with a broken voice, "I don't know who told you that lie, but I don't...".
Helena shook her head and left the living room, disappearing from his sight.
Suddenly he felt a strong impulse that pulled him abruptly out of the apartment, making him hit against the wall of the hallway.
It was the second time he was thrown out of a place as if he were a garbage bag, and although his body was hurt and bruised, which would leave large bruises, it did not compare to the pain he felt at that moment inside.
-Be thankful I don't kill you right here, just because Helena asked me not to," he spat at his feet with contempt, "Don't come back here, because I won't hesitate to do it next time, stay away from Helena you heard me, she has compassion for you, I really don't understand why you sick sadistic bastard, but if I see you again in these parts I will make your life a living hell" sentenced the man closing the door of his apartment with force and leaving Sebastian even more miserable.
Sebastian said nothing more, did not react, did not fight, did not cry.
As if there was nothing inside him anymore, now he was empty, he was just a damaged body that wanted to disappear forever, because the only thing he was doing was hurting people with every step he took, even though all his life he had tried the opposite.
-I guess the best thing to do is to disappear.
