CHAPTER 19

I pinned her on the bed, holding her hands above her head. I kissed her and she kissed me back. I licked her lips and she immediately parted her lips for me. I slipped my tongue in her mouth and she moaned loudly. I broke the kiss and looked at her. I didn't notice that she was wearing a huge size shirt. My breath hitched when I saw her creamy bare thighs. I pulled my shirt off and she blushed seeing my bare chest. I leaned in and started trailing wet kisses. My hands made their way in her shirt and she arched her back. I cupped her mounds and she moaned softly, I massaged them softly and took her lower lip between my teeth, nibbling lightly. She was trying so hard not to moan out loud but she couldn't control. I licked her neck and she whispered.

Cassie: Chris…

Chris: What is it, Cassie?

I asked and bit her sweet spot. She was fully turned on. Her heart was jumping wildly in her chest, her breaths were heavy and she was scratching my back with her nails.

Cassie: The butterflies are being wild in my stomach.

I smiled and kissed her back. I broke the kiss after a few minutes and spoke again.

Chris: I know Cassie, but you have to wait.

Cassie: Wait for what? I can't wait, please Chris.

Chris: I promise to make your all wishes come true but not now. You're not ready now. You need time.

She pouted cutely and I kissed her again. She smiled at me and I pecked her forehead. I laid back down and she quickly cuddled with me. Wrapping her arms around me she laid her head on my chest. I sneaked an arm around her waist, pulling her even closer.

Cassie: Good night Chris.

Chris: Good night darling.

We both closed our eyes and drifted off.

I was sitting on a couch, in Sam's apartment. Officer Dean was searching his bedroom to find more clues. The main door opened and I knew Sam was back. He walked into the living room and froze in his tracks.


Sam: What are you doing here?


Chris: Don't you know what I am doing here. You really thought after whatever you did to Cassie, I would let you run away that easily.


I threw the file on his table. He picked it up and started reading it. He read it and looked at me with a horror look on his face.


Detective Dean: We know everything about you and your game that you have played with Miss Wolf.

Detective Dean gave me a file. I read it. It was a deal he had signed with Hendrick Black. Cassie was right, he took money for keeping a relationship with Cassie and then break-up with her. I couldn't believe how anyone could think of hurting her like this. I went to him and grabbed his collar.

Chris: How could you do that to her? What she had done that made you do this?


Sam: I wanted money, I was going through my difficult time. Mr Black offered me something that solved all my problems.


Detective Dean: And you played with an innocent lady, who hasn't done anything wrong to you or anyone.


Sam: What can I say? It was her bad time. I didn't even touch her, she would have taken a hint, but she was stubborn.


Detective Dean: Did you know about Mr Black's plan?


Sam: Yes, I knew what he was planning. It was never about Hunts and their business. It was about Cassie only. He was obsessed with Cassie and I know he was planning to get her. He told me to keep a fake relationship with her and in return he gave me money that pulled me out of my problems. I came back here and got married.


Detective Dean: So you destroyed a woman's life for money. What if your wife comes to know your dark secret?


Sam: I don't think so. I hid it well from her.


Chris: Are you sure? We found these papers in your bedroom. You should shame on yourself. He raped her many times. Destroyed her life. You were aware of his dark plans and all you did was take money from him and hide in your hole.


Sam: Sometimes, we have to be selfish. Yes I knew about his plan and I only cared about the money that solved all my problems.


We all heard a loud gasp and I smirked. That's all we needed. It was part of our plan.


Nancy: I can't believe it, Sam. How could you do this to a woman? You needed money, you should have asked me. But you destroyed someone's life and that too a woman.


Detective Dean had a plan as soon as we landed in London. He thought it would be better if we tell Nancy the reality of her husband. We met her and told her everything. And as I thought, she knew nothing about Sam's relationship with Cassie. So we created this scene to prove her that we weren't lying.


Chris: Now you are coming with us, so you can help Cassie.


Sam: You think I am a fool. I am going nowhere.


Nancy: I thought you would be better than other men Sam. How could you do this?


Saying that Nancy took her daughter and locked herself in her bedroom. Sam was knocking on the door crazily, but she didn't open. She was sobbing hard. I knew Sam must have told her lies as well. She never knew who Sam really is. The door unlocked and Nancy came out of the room. She had luggage in one hand and with the other, she was holding her daughter's hand. Sam followed her to the door. He was pleading with her to stop.


Nancy: I thought you would never do anything to hurt a woman like other men, but what you did is unforgivable, Sam. You also have a daughter. I can't imagine, they told me everything. I just didn't believe them. But I was a fool. Have you ever thought about your daughter before you did something this horrible to a lady. I don't want my daughter to go through all this. I'm leaving. And if you want us back in your life then go back with them. Beg her to forgive you. Do whatever you can to get justice for her. Till then, don't show me your face.


Nancy said it all and left. Sam knelt down on the ground, he was sobbing. I thought nothing could break him but maybe I was wrong. He stood up and lunged himself at me. He grabbed my collar and with gritted teeth he spoke.


Sam: You destroyed everything. Are you happy now? My wife left me with my daughter.


Chris: No Sam. She didn't leave you but the man who had destroyed Cassie. Think about it, just once place your daughter in Cassie's place and imagine whatever had happened to Cassie, happening with your daughter.


Sam: Shut up, why would it happen to my daughter? Don't you dare to think about my daughter. She is innocent.


Detective Dean: Miss Wolf is also someone's daughter Mr Peterson. She was innocent and you played her for money. Don't you think God will return it. You did something wrong with someone's daughter, that can happen to yours as well.


Sam stepped back. I finally saw guilt in his eyes. He sat on one of the couches.


Chris: Are you ready to talk? Or you want more drama in your life?


Sam: Five years ago, I borrowed some money from a person for my business. I had to give him his money back after a year. But after a year I lost everything. There was an accident in my factory, everything was destroyed. I needed money to repay that guy and also to get myself back into business. Three years ago I was invited into a business expo. I met Hendrick Black there for the very first time. He knew about my bankruptcy. He offered me 5 millions with 5 shares of Black's Enterprises. It was a great chance for me to start up again and in return I was told to keep a fake relationship with Cassie. I didn't want to come back here to my family empty handed. So I accepted his proposal. He told me his plan but I only cared for my money.


Chris: You are an animal, even animals get attached with a person who takes care of them. But you, I have no words.


Sam: I am ready to confess my crimes.


I looked at detective Dean who nodded at me. Detective Dean didn't cuff him. We didn't want his daughter to see him like this. We stepped out of his apartment and went to the parking lot. We hopped into the car and drove back to the airport where my family plane was waiting for us. I only had to convince Cassie to stand for herself. It was difficult but I knew what I needed to do.
