Chapter 79

**Bennett**

The visit with Luna's mom lasted about an hour but we still had the appointment to see the stage set up this afternoon. Luna looked sad after her mother left, so we all decide to go see the stage together.

Since the plan was for the guys to play outdoors, the studio set the mobile stage up in an abandoned lot about a half-hour away. Even before we arrived you could see the large metal structure from down the street. It looks daunting but we tried to plan it so the pieces can be taken apart in a short amount of time and easily moved to the next location. We would only be in one location for three nights for the concert. The team will go ahead and set up while we follow behind a day or two later. That would allow the guys a few days off to rest and see the sights.

I glanced through the rearview mirror to see Luna's reaction and chuckled. She looked wide-eyed and in awe of the setup and that is exactly what we want from the fans. When we pull into the lot, Annie is waiting for us along wiht a few other people I have not met yet. That fact sours my mood a little because the label knows I do not like to be surprised like this. The fact that they moved the start date forward without informing me is enough to put me on edge but any more surprises and we would have a serious problem.

Once we are parked, Luna climbs out and Kai quickly grabs her hand. he drags her off to see the stage up close while the rest of us stop to speak to Annie. I catch her eyes following Luna and Kai as they walk by and the small sneer that is quickly replaced wiht a smile when her attention returns to us.

"Hi, guys! So what do you think?" She asks in her usual chipper way.

"It looks great Annie, nice work," Rowan says wiht a nod of approval.

Annie's entire face lights up and if she were a cartoon she would have heart coming out of her eyes.

"Thanks, Rowan. So we have some markers to give you an idea of the size of the crowds we will be dealing with. We also took into account the travel toilets and food trucks that will be setting up in each city." She explains leading us toward the stage.

"Were you able to get the lights I requested?" I ask her.

She gives me a sympathetic look. "Unfortunately no since the tour was moved up there wasn't time to fit the extra gear to the existing stage set up."

Somehow I doubt that is the case but it's too late to change things now. We will have to find another way for Luna to enjoy the show.

"Now we will have a few guitars set up back here for you guys to choose from. You can change it up every night if you like." She points to a row of guitars already set up and waiting near some of the sound gear. "Rowan your drums are set up on a raised stage so that you can be seen as well..."

Her words are cut off when we hear a squeal of laughter come from the stage. We turn to see Kai twirling Luna in his arms on stage. I chuckle at their antics and see Rowan and Declan smiling as well. Kai has a way of making our girl laugh and I can't get enough of the sound. It's unfiltered and genuine maybe because she can't hear herself, but it's the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. I also can feel the excitement and joy she is feeling through our new bond and my heart squeezes wiht pride. There is also a ghost of a smile on Milo's face as he watches them, no doubt feeling the same emotions from Luna that I am.

"How does it feel?" Rowan asks me.

"Right now, it is like a shot of pure light. She is really happy right now," I tell him but I can't come close to describing what I'm feeling.

"I hope she is ready for a few more marks soon, I can't wait to feel that." He musses and I chuckle at the yearning in his eyes.

"I'm sure she will. She will have to get sued to feel all our emotions all the time, but I think she can handle that." That thought puts me a little more at ease.

Luna may not be able to hear the guys play music but if she bonds wiht all of them she will be able to feel the emotions each song invokes in them. That will mean a lot to her since no one else will be able to have a close connection to their music like she will.

"Right. So I should introduce you to the stage team." Annie says cutting into us watching luna and Kai on stage.

I give our smiling Omega one more lingering glance before following Annie behind the stage.


**Kai**

Seeing the wonder in Luna's eyes when I show her the stage and all the equipment fills me with joy. I love watching her eyes when she takes everything in. My eyes fall onto the still bright red mark peeking out from the collar of her shirt. We will be going on tour in a few short days and there are still three of us who have not bonded to her yet. I suppose she doesn't need all of us to bond her now, but it doesn't make me want to any less.

I can't help but feel a little jealous that the others have been so close to her and I have yet to have my chance. Something I hope to rectify tonight. Of course, she is in charge of who she wants to bond wiht her and when but I hope if I woo her well then she will give me the honor to mark her too.

The guys join us on stage and I watch Milo walk up to Luna and lower his head to nuzzle against her neck. It is such a strange sight that we all sort of freeze and watch them. We have never seen Milo touch anyone like this even Luna. He has gone from innocent hand-holding wiht her to blatant displays like this and it's making my head spin.

"That is just weird," Declan says next to me.

"It is." I agree.

"Milo! We have the mic ready if you want to do a quick sound test. " Annie calls out.

Milo pulls away from Luna but keeps his hands resting on her hips. She doesn't know Annie is talking so she keeps her eyes focused on Milo. When he turns his attention back to her he steps back slightly and starts to sign something to her. She smiles up at him and nods before he walks past her to where Annie is waiting. Luna's eyes meet mine then and I give her a devilish smile that makes her blush. She heads toward Declan and me with a shy smile on her face.

"I'll grab her a chair so she can sit off to the side of the stage while we do mic checks," Declan says leaving a kiss on the top of her head as he passes.

She beams up at him and watches him walk away before turning her attention back to me. I hold my hand out to her and she accepts it right away letting me pull her closer. Would she let me kiss her right here in front of everyone?

I wrap my arms around her and pull her close hoping maybe she will. Her arms snake around my waist and she looks up at me with those beautiful golden eyes. Her long hair tickles my skin and the feeling sends a small shiver up my arm. She feels so warm against me and it takes all of my self-control to wait for some signal that she wants me to kiss her.

"She wants you," Bennett whispers into my ear as he passes.

I hear him chuckle and I have an urge to kick him in the ass for whispering something like that in my ear right now. All seductive and weird. Asshole!

But when I turn my attention back to Luna she is looking at me with one of her brows quirked up. Oh, the sass is coming out and I have my answer.

I smile at her once more before diving in and kissing her like I have been dying to. Her arms tighten around me and I can feel her heat spike as we get lost in our kiss. Her lips taste sweet and her honey scent tingles my nose making my blood warm and travel way too far down for this time and place.

A throat clearing behind Luna makes me pull away and lock eyes with Milo.

"You're going to get her too worked up. Cool it." He warns and turns on his heels to get in position again.

I glance down at Luna and I have to agree with Milo. Her face is flushed and her eyes are dilated. Declan arrives just in time for me to leave a lingering kiss on her forehead and move away for him to lead her away.

Oh yeah, I am stealing some time with my girl tonight no matter what the others say.
