Chapter 60

Scott's POV

I sent a link to somebody who had the power to teleport, they had to be quick. Because these guys looked lime they were about to shoot one of us. And with all the lasers on her, I'd say the target was her.

A hand slapped onto my shoulder, the sound of a gunshot went off right before we were brought to another one. Her parents family home. We were in the foyer now. The house was suddenly filled with the packs coven members. I joined the coven a couple weeks ago and was still meeting new members. Not many people participate in the coven and only come in when it's required to.

Even the youngest of her family, her uncle Jackson's son who was around eleven I think was here. His powers from what I hear are like hers, very different from the family magic but similar to a degree.

Where her siblings had fire he had ice and water.

Where Clara could see the future Brooklyn could see the past and travel to the future.

She glared at everyone in the room when recognition hit her that we were no longer in Ryan's apartment, then she stopped at the the people who could order them all here. Her mother and grandfather.

"I hate you!" She whispered harshly. The cold tone she used made the windows in the house frost over. I guess she has ice too. Or shes tapping into little Cole's gift.

Her grandfather lifted his hands up. "I'm sorry it has to be this way honey. But we can't let Amara back out again. You know how bad that ended last time."

"No, I only know what I was told." Brooklyn tried to get out of my hold again but I refused to let her go. "And I wasn't told everything. You guys left a few things out! Made her out to be the villain when she was just another victim too."

"No we told you everything!" She laughed and shook her head. Her parents all looked at one another confused.

"She was murdered by her own kin! Our own ancestors killed her because her wolf was stonger than their Alpha was! Her own mate at that! You thought they cursed her, no dear grandpa. She was murdered. All she did was kill the people who killed her, she just couldn't fight the urge to come back from the need for more power... You know all about power. Don't you grandpa?" She asked him coldly and he flinched at her question.

"You said that grandma Abigail forgave him before she was killed. You lied. You lied about that." She snarled at her mother. "She hated him and she hated you" Brooklyn screamed and somehow got out of my grip by slipping through under me and rolled then quicked was on her feet again right in her mother's face.

"You let you daughters, and nieces around a rapist! Grandma Abigail probably couldn't stand the sight of you because of how much you look like him, then you went and had a kid yourself who favored him too." She tsked. Clara's eyes were red and her face was flushed with anger and hurt.

"Brooke!" Levi grabbed his sister's arm-

"And you," she pulled her arm from him and stepped around him making him feel smaller than he really was as she looked him over. "Are his spitting image. Perhaps it's a good thing she didn't stay alive to see us, you would have haunted her every waking hour."

"Alright young lady that's enough!"

Brooklyn only put her finger up at her father. "Don't get me started on you two!"

I used my mind reading power and did something i havent done since the army and blocked all of our minds off. Silencing everyone's mind including my own. The last time I did this was when me, Leroy and Chris were looking for a sniper and I couldn't think long enough to hear him with my enhanced hearing.

Her eyes widened as she looked at everybody around her. This gift of mine not only silenced them for her but for them aswell, their own thought process was silenced. So as they thought they couldn't hear themselves talk in their head. I sent them a quick link to tell them what I did, I saw a few subtle nods.

Her head slowly turned to me, as I expected it to. I smirked at her and raised an eyebrow. I knew her brother Zachary had the silver and the wolfsbane. All I had to do was mark her again, she somehow managed to remove my mark after she left her mother and I was feeling less of her minute by minute.

"Where is my mark?" I asked her, I wanted to get her mind on a different topic and off of the past. We could not change what happened then, only what we do now in the present.

"Mine is gone too." She told me and my hand went right to my neck. I felt no pleasure filled sparks fill me when i touch her mark. So it was gone. I only noticed hers because I wasn't feeling much of herI i wanted her to feel me.I glared at her for taking it away from me. "Zena gave that to me because she loved me.." I growled at her.

"That love was misplaced.!" In this state I never know if I'm talking to an angry Zena or an angry Brooklyn. Because they are both just as brutal.

My face was hot with rage. Now she was making me angry. "Mitescere nunc, catuli!" (calm down now, little puppy) I heard her teasing tone say as she came closer to me.

I knew that time it was Brooklyn. Zena was always a hothead no matter the situation. "Itane tu me exspectas ut id tibi serves post id quod heri ad me fecisti?" (Did you really expect me to let you keep it after what you did to me yesterday)

"You know what hurts more than the stab in the back, Brooke?" I make eye contact with her, her eyes going to those sexy brown ones of hers again they stayed like that for a while and my heart fluttered thinking she was able to come back willingly without us using force, drugs and magic on her to do it for her.

Then all too soon with one shake of her head they were back to black with Zena's blue ring around it. "It isn't the stab that hurts, it's turning around and finding the person holding it." Once I finished saying it, in came Zachary with the drugs.

"I'm so sorry sissy." He kissed her hairline as he injected the two solutions into her arm.

A shock of lightning hit him and he flew back and into his brother Levi and cousin Caleb who were knocked down to the ground on impact. If I thought it was already chilly in here before due to her frosting up the windows then it was really cold now.

The walls iced over, even the floor was slick with water because of it melting off the ceiling. Her eyes burned onyx, her wolf no longer there because of the silver. The two drugs should have knocked her out.

Her arms raised at her sides, she said an all too familiar curse, but before she could finish it I ran over nearly slipping on the wet wood floors and clasped my lips over hers, stopping her from killing her family and her family bloodline, which meant our baby's life too.

For a half a second she kissed me back before she realzed what she was doing then pushed me off of her. "Please stop this!" I begged. "You got him, just like you said you would when your first baby died. It's over now, amoureux. Come back to us?"

"But she got out! You let her get away! She has to pay too, Scott!" She pointed to the front door, her finger shook and her voice even though she was mad at me I heard the little crack in it when she said my name.

"I know baby! And we will find her!" I went to step closer but the front door was burst open. A red and tan she-wolf stood there looking around frantically, and was scared.

"Felicity!" She growled at me, the wolf suddenly got into a defensive pose and bared her teeth at Brooklyn while growling. Brooklyn just waved her off not caring that she wad there and went back to trying to figure out how to get her wolf back sooner. I only know that because she was muttering about it as she paced back and forth.

I didn't even notice her run from the doorway and over to us until Brooklyn was barreling into my chest, knocking us both down. She screamed and buried her face in my shirt as she held onto it as tightly as she could.

Her dad Wyatt pulled Felicity off Brooklyn and I quickly rolled her off me and onto the floor so I could look at her. "Hey, how bad does it hurt?" I asked her. I couldn't feel much pain. I only felt a small muscle ache on my backside but that was it.

"I'm fine!" She slugishly tried to slap my hands away from her face. I opened on of her eyes to see where she was at,  Felicity knocking her into me startled her enough to snap her out of that haze and let the drugs take affect. So she was human again. I nodded at her family and they all sighed a breath of relief.

I took a deep breath of relief myself and let it out but stopped halfway through letting the breath out. I sniffed the air again. "Scott.."

I looked down, Brooklyn was holding up her hand that was dripping with blood. I looked to the flood and my eyes widened. "Why didn't you tell me..." I stopped as I rolled her onto her side, the long claw marks going all the way down her back, then there's rhe bite to her side. I didn't even realize she bit her, it must happened when she was pulled off.

Someone touched my shoulder, I grabbed her hands and we were teleported someplace else once again.

I landed on my side in the middle of the woods, feeling a warm body behind me I quickly rolled over and sat up. "I tried taking us home.." Brooklyn said as I carefully lifted her up and into my lap.

"It's alright! I'm here with you, you are my home!" The darkness in her eyes was fading away as she stared up at the moon in the sky above us. As the black cleared her eyes glowed a beautiful blue before that too faded.

I watched a tear roll down the side of her face, I quickly removed it. "You need a doctor!" I reminded her, but she shook her head and finally looked at me.

"It's quiet here." I pursed my lips to keep them from tembling. "Just a little longer please?"

I nodded my head, only a littme bit. I just got her back, I didn't want to loose her. I rocked her and whispered nonstop how much I love her and that she mattered, and basically anything i could think of to keep her with me longer.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't fast enough. I'm sorry, I love you so please don't leave me." I felt a tear fall and land somewhere in her hair. "Your my Princess, my future Queen. Stay with me." I kept murmuring all of this in her ear keeping her awake.

She was still bleeding, it soaked my legs and arms as i held her in my arms. Brooklyn squeezed my hand a little tighter, before I felt us being teleported again. This time I ended up on a hospital bed, she took us to Brandon's pack because it was an all werewolf hospital.

The moment a nurse spotted me, more specifically Brooklyn and the bloody mess after we popped onto the bed. She called for help and made me get up. "Place her down on the bed sir."

"The baby?" I was scared of not only loosing her but also our baby, if she hadn't already. I was so scared that my senses didn't work like they were supposed to and I couldn't smell or hear anything.

"I can still hear the heartbeat. But if you don't place her down I'm sure that won't last very much longer." She pointed to the bed as other nurses and a few doctors rushed over.

I recognized one as one of the men who cared for her when she was brought here when she miscarried. I trusted him then so I can trust him now.

I placed her down and backed away. "Please save my daughter!!" I said running my hands through my hair. I turned to walk away but my knees gave out and I collapsed to the floor as I began crying.

I haven't cried like this and in front of others since my family was killed. My heart was tore in half at all of today's events.

I got up to take her to the doctor only for my day to go with her rejecting me to her going bat shit crazy in the next few hours. Arms wrapped around me from behind as a nurse sat with me and consoled me. She never said a word, she just comforted me as I cried.
