Chapter Twenty Five
TRISTAN POV
I was so happy that we're finally on our way to Cape Town and Natalie won't stop talking about how excited she is to finally visit that country with me.
"I've actually been there a couple of times with my friends, we love the atmosphere of the beach especially when it's in the evening. The cool breeze, the sound of the flowing water, the sunset and the whole natural scenery always makes the journey worth it. And do you know why I'm so excited about this particular journey?" She asked, beaming with excitement while I stared at her in confusion.
"I don't and it won't take you anything to tell me" I shrugged while she hit me gently on my shoulder and I laughed.
"You're been so rude!" She said with a pout as she pretended to be angry and folded her hand under her breast, looking at the other side. She was staring at the window, staring outside the window of the private jet we were in, she looked at the sky with her eyes sparkling with excitement and happiness.
"Ooh la la! I have to snap some pictures'' she muttered as she brought out her phone and started snapping the sky, us and everything snappable. I can never understand women's obsession with taking pictures.
"It helps to relive the moment later with a clearer view and pictures are taken to be able to stare at it whenever you're in a bad mood or you're having a bad day" she said as if she can read my mind, " it's not my fault that your face gave you away" she said before I could make a comment and we laughed.
"Just tell me the truth and I'll keep it a secret till I die" I teased her.
"What do you mean? What secret?" She asked.
"All passengers on board, fasten your seat belts immediately. The private jet will land in ten minutes'' the air hostess said through the loud speaker implanted everywhere in the private jet.
"Are we all seated?" She asked again after a few minutes.
"Yes! We're seated with fastened seat belts and ready for landing" I said into the mic beside my chair and I suddenly felt her hand grip me as the jet went down at once.
"You don't have to be scared, you know that you have me right?" I tried to comfort her and it worked because she smiled at me and held my hand tightly.
We landed in a building close to the beach she was talking about. I wanted her to enjoy every bit of this picnic since it's our first date as couples. I led her to the beach and she couldn't stop laughing and gushing as she heard everyone whispering about how great we look together, she was a blushing mess by the time we got to the beach.
"I brought you to your favourite place In this country, I want to make this first date a memorable one since it's our first one" I said, kissing her hand gently and she purred cutely like a cat, she looked so cute that I couldn't resist rubbing her head.
"I love your fit, you look so cute right now" I said and she blushed before covering her face like a secondary school girl. I threw my head backward and laughed at her cuteness.
"I thought that you won't compliment me" she scoffed before walking away to meet the guards setting up our mat and picnic basket.
"Is that the mother fucking thanks I deserve? Women can be so complicated" I groaned before pocketing my hands and walking to meet her while some girls were waving at me with a naughty wink but it looked so irritating to me.
"I thought that you'll smile at them" she blurted immediately. I sat down beside her to enjoy the view and breeze.
"The only person that has the right to see my smile is you and no one will ever see it except from you cause you're the one my heart chose" I said and she blushed as she faked a cough, I smiled staring at her link cheek. I wonder if she knows the things she's doing to me right now with her innocent actions that my body ain't seeing like an innocent one.
"You sweet talker" she said as she hit my shoulder lightly before resting on it, I stared at her face for a while before I faced my front and continued staring at the ocean.
"I'm sorry" she suddenly said after a while.
"For?" I asked with a confused gaze.
"I know that you might hate me after hearing this but I can't keep it a secret anymore, my guilty conscience keeps on pricking me" she said as she sniffed.
