Chapter 32

Tristan POV

"I still have one last document that shows my claim over the company. We can use this as a bait to lure Felix into our trap and make sure that he takes it." I explained the plan in detail to Scorpion and the boys.

"I hope you are aware that Felix is smart, he would know that forfeiting the documents willing is suspicious, we need to act ahead of him."

"I know Felix more than any of you. He is my business partner. Since he is after signing the next big deal that would make the company become his own, he would be needing this document. His clients would ask for the deeds and that's when he would realise they are with me. He will come for it and we will take immediate actions against him."

I looked at their faces and noticed a lot of them were buying into the plan and this gladdened my heart.

"So first, we already know he is going to meet up with the Chinese investors tomorrow, I need you to tell your spies to pay close attention to everything they say or do. If anything goes wrong, we will have to go for the second alternative." I explained.

"And what will that be?" Scorpion asked.

"Using Aria as the bait." I replied.

As soon as our meetings were over, I used the next available taxi back to the apartment, where Natalie and our son were having the time of their life.

"You came back really quick." I mentioned placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Aria has changed indeed. I am simply glad that all of this will soon come to an end." I nodded as we both watched Elvis play around the apartment with his toys.

"I just want to say that I don't want you around during this whole thing." I break the silence.

"What do you mean by that? I cannot stand and watch you fight Felix all by yourself. You are quick to forget that this man is very dangerous and could do harm knowing he has this level of power at his disposal." Natalie replied.

"I know Natalie, it's just that I don't want to lose you and Elvis again. I cannot bear the pain of losing any of you." She held my hand and squeezed them tight.

"You are not going to lose us Tristan. We will fight this battle together and Felix will be taken down by the end of it all, I am sure about that."

I pulled her over into my arms and we remained in that position for a long period of time.

"Do you think Aria has truly changed?" I asked once again.

"When we talked, I noticed the change and she has pledged her support into helping us bring Felix down. I know she will do that."

I smiled knowing that the alternative plan was ready.
Soon enough Felix will be mine to tear apart bit by bit.

Felix POV

As I made my way into the office, I noticed several emails on my phone and I chose not to pay attention to anyone. Today was the day where I signed the deal with the Chinese investors that would elevate my status.

"Boss there is still no trace of Aria, she seemed to have disappeared from earth." One of my underground spies revealed through the phone.

"I don't care how long it takes you, but you must find out where Aria is and bring her to me." As I dropped the phone the door opened and some men stepped in and there in the middle was the Chinese investor.

"Mr. Felix, it's great to see you again." He said, extending his hand to which I firmly took. "As you already know, I am a man of business and I don't like wasting much time, so share with me your proposal."


"As you already know, I run this company and 90% of the shares are mine to pick apart. I want to merge with you and of course..." I lowered my voice. "Harness those supplies of drugs to China. We could be rich through this partnership of ours."

The Chinese billionaire placed his hands on his chin, staring at me curiously. I was patiently waiting to get a good reply.

"All this will be possible but I need to see a valid deed of the company that proves that you are the owner." He replied after some time.

"What deed are you talking about? What other proof do you need? I am seated at the helms of affairs and I run everything here and even underground. All you have to do is sign this document and we start off the operation."

"I am sorry I don't do business that way. I have a lot of people scam me off my hard earned money and I am not willing to risk that again."

I slammed my hands on the table and got up to my feet. "Enough of all this deed bull crap! Sign the damn document and let's get started!" I heard guns cocked and aimed in my direction.

"Your impatience can land you in trouble, Mr. Felix. My decision still remains the same. Either I get the deed or you don't get my signature. Have a nice day."

I watched in horror as he moved out of the room with his men. How dare he not sign this document? I looked through the files on the table looking for the deed he was speaking about, but could find none.

"Come to my office immediately!" I rang the secretary.

"Are you in possession of the deed of the company?" I asked the moment she stepped into the room.

"I am sorry sir, but only the head of the company can have access to the deeds. I don't know anything about this deed."

It was at that moment everything became clear to me. Tristan was in custody of the deeds!

"You can go." I instructed.

Once she was gone, I searched through my phone for the contact of my spies.

"I have a job for you."
