Chapter 43
Tristan POV
Upon entering the nightclub, I noticed that the night was quite mild as the crowded venue was filled with individuals dancing, drinking, and rocking out to the loud music.
I wasn't focused on any of those antics, I was here for one individual and one individual only. I looked around the place and smiled, seeing his ever energetic self entertaining a group of other people.
"Who do we have here?" He says, noticing my presence. "I can't believe this! Tristan! It's been ages " he said, engulfing me in brotherly love.
I smiled in return, mirroring the gesture. "Good to see you, Louis."
He left the people he had been entertaining and we made our way to the hallway. He looked around and finally spoke.
"Tristan, I still can't give you enough gratitude for how you saved my life the last time. Like I said, I will always be here to help you whenever you need me." He says.
"That's why I am here man, I have something important to discuss with you." I replied.
"Let's get out of this place then." He said, seeing the seriousness in my tone
He then led me far into the center of the club, where the music and lights surrounded us entirely.
We headed towards a secluded spot, the sounds of the club becoming muffled as we got further away. Louis motioned for me to sit down, and I followed, my gaze fixed on him.
"What is the reason for your presence, Tristan?" he inquired in a low and serious tone.
I leaned closer, my voice becoming menacing. "I need your assistance, Louis." "I require your knowledge and skills."
He arched one eyebrow. "What type of knowledge?"
I paused, feeling the anger and bitterness rising within me, and took a deep breath. "Do you know what happened with Felix ?"
Louis 's face became solemn. "Do you mean how he dismantled your company and left you with nothing?"
I agreed by tightening my jaw. "That is correct." And now I'm seeking retaliation. I require your assistance in bringing him down.
The eyes became thinner. Why do you believe I am the best person for the position?
I moved nearer, speaking in a hushed tone. "Since I trust only you, Louis." And I am aware that you possess the abilities and means to assist me in achieving this.
I met Louis's eyes, unable to decipher his expression. After that, he gave a nod, with a slight smile forming on his mouth. I agree, Tristan.
"Let's go after Felix and help you get your revenge."
Louis' demeanor became grave as his eyes became obscured. "Tristan, I have to alert you that my gang is not as strong as before. We're slowly disintegrating, bit by bit."
I scowled, my thoughts speeding. "What are you trying to say? "What is happening?"
Louis reclined in his seat, his speech tinged with irritation. "Felix is to be blamed. He has been recruiting my gang members, gradually, with the promise of greater pay, authority, and security than what I can offer."
Anger surged within me. "That offspring of a nobody! Who does he think he is!"
Louis 's gaze fixed on me. "Things are getting even more terrible, Tristan. Felix 's group is similar to a disease, extending its power all around. My gang is enticed by the offer of quick money and the feeling of safety that being in a larger group brings."
My fists tightened as my mind raced with tactics. "Louis, we must prevent him from continuing." We must not allow him to continue causing division within your gang.
Louis 's face took on a somber look. "I am aware, Tristan. However, it will be challenging. Felix has a strong grip on this city and he will resist before releasing it."
I moved closer, my tone ominously tranquil .....
"I am not concerned with the probabilities, Louis. I desire vengeance, and I want it immediately. Let's regroup with the remaining members of your gang and confront Felix in battle. It's time to prove to him that Tristan has returned, and I will not be disrespected anymore."
I inhaled deeply, focusing my eyes on Louis.
"Louis, there is another matter to address. Something that is about oneself on a personal level."
Louis' face took on a look of curiosity. "Tristan, what is it?"
I spoke in a low voice. My wife, Natalie ... She has been kidnapped. Felix owns both her and my son, Elvis. "They are currently imprisoned, and I require your assistance in rescuing them."
Louis was taken aback, his eyes widening in shock. "I wasn't aware that you were married, Tristan."
I shook my head, feeling a jumble of emotions churning within me. "Louis, it's a story that has a lot of details. I currently do not have time for that. I just require your assistance in order to safely bring them back."
Louis 's face became serious, his teeth tightly pressed together. "I understand. I have some underground sources and connections that could assist us in locating where they are."
I leaned closer, my eyes filled with passion. "Louis, I am begging you. I require your assistance. I cannot accomplish this by myself."
Louis gave a firm nod, his voice steady. "Tristan, it is completed." I'll reach out to some people and investigate further. We will ensure the return of your family, regardless of the effort needed."
I was overwhelmed with thankfulness for Louis, my longtime companion. "Louis, I appreciate your help." I appreciate your support.
Louis' demeanor quickly changed to one of determination, his gaze sharp and cold. "We won't simply remain idle, Tristan. We will bring down Felix and ensure he faces consequences for his actions."
Silence engulfed the room and my thoughts lingered on several possibilities of outsmarting Felix, knowing that he was and would always be a problem.
"There is also one last problem Louis, there is this bitch that started everything and I need her to be dealt with accordingly." I gritted my teeth in anger
"Who is that?"
"Aria. That's her name."
