Chapter 16: The Big Boy of Simplicity

Before Jenny picked up the phone, I hung up and stored Jenny's number in William's phone with the note "Jenny Baby".
The moment I hung up the phone, I felt William's disappointment, but also felt William's relief.
From my probing of William today, I've come to some simple conclusions.
He should be a little emotional experience, and is not good at hiding his thoughts, a simple big boy.
I think if I had to choose between Tom and William, I think William would be more suitable for Jenny.
"Eric would be so happy if he knew you were here."
William touched his nose, the redness on his face hadn't disappeared.
He was so nervous that he even spoke a little incoherently.
"I want to take Eric out today to buy an outfit, his young lady is getting married soon and he has to dress up handsomely."
I told William the purpose of today's O here.
"But, with Eric's condition he is not allowed to leave the hospital at will."
"Please, just go out for a little stroll, I promise it will only take four hours to get him back."
I put my hands together and in a very sincere tone, I had to get the approval of the attending doctor before I could take Eric out of the hospital.
I saw William's hesitant expression and hurriedly made a swear to God gesture with my hand.
"No, it will only take three hours, and I don't think you want him showing up at his sister's wedding in a hospital gown."
After I said that, I saw a very noticeable change in William's expression.
"Well, I can promise you that, but you still need to go through Eric's full-time nurse before you can take him."
Eric's full-time nurse was very fond of him and took very good care of Eric, but she was a very observant person who followed the hospital rules.
If she knew that I wanted to take Eric out of the hospital without making an appointment in advance and also without making any preparations, then I would only be able to see Eric through the door of the ward and through the window of the ward for the rest of the month.
I opened my eyes very hard, filling them with air so fast that it would produce tears.
"I can't let her know or I won't be able to see Eric for a month."
I blinked quickly, two tears ran down the corners of my eyes, and my tone took on a bit of a choked sob.
Having seen a lot of men in nightclubs, I knew how to deal with a simple older boy like William.
"But ......"
William was very obviously shocked by my tears, and he was shaking his hands on his shirt, not knowing how to handle the situation now.
Now I knew William had become my helper, and I had a way to get around the dedicated nurse to take Eric out of the hospital.
"I need your cooperation so I can sneak Eric out of the hospital."
"It looks like you've used these methods a lot before, right? Tell me how I can help you."
William guessed from my confident expression that this wasn't the first time I had done these things.
"Hold on, I need to inform Eric to start our plan of action first."
I bent down and snuck up to the door of Eric's hospital room, and through the window in the door I was able to see all the way around the room.
Eric's dedicated nurse was sitting by the bed, she had a storybook in her hand and was supposedly reading a story to Eric, she was trying to help him fall asleep through the story.
However, I could see that Eric's eyes were very wide open and it was obvious that he did not want to sleep right now.
Eric seemed to see me, I saw his head lift up and his eyes look in my direction, while his arm that was under the covers was ready to lift up, he wanted to say hello to me.
I quickly reached out my finger and made a noise-making motion, Eric saw it, he stopped the motion on his arm, the expression on his face was back to calm, and in passing, he stole a glance at the nurse, and found that the nurse was still looking down at the contents of the storybook.
I made a sleeping pose to Eric while gesturing to his pillow and finally pointing to myself, an expression unique between me and my Eric.
Eric nodded to me, with a very small movement that did not go unnoticed by the nurse.
"Come on, let's go wait in the hallway for a while."
After all this was done, I said to William, who was standing next to me already looking stunned.
"Are you sure Eric knows what you just expressed?"
I didn't answer his question.
"Elsa, I'm a little sleepy, can you lower your voice a little?"
From the ward came the sound of Eric speaking.
I had a smile on my face, and Eric understood what I meant.
"What did you mean by those hand gestures just now?"
William was very curious about what exactly I had expressed with Eric, and he asked me very anxiously just as we walked down the hallway.
"I told him to pretend to sleep and put the pillow under the covers when the nurse left, and I'll wait for him in the place."
I explained to him very patiently.
"You really are not the first time to do this kind of thing, the tacit understanding between the two of you definitely can't be trained in a few times."
At this time, William was like a teacher who caught a truant student.
Of course I wasn't afraid of him.
"Now I need your help, go lure the nurse away and create a chance for Eric to get out of the ward."
"I can help you, but you also have to keep your promise to bring Eric back in three hours."
William looked at me very seriously, he needed my assurance.
"I promise you, Eric is my own brother, you can rest assured."
I made a serious promise of assurance before William breathed a sigh of relief.
He returned to the ward and knocked gently on the door of the room.
The nurse saw him and he gestured for her to follow him.
When they were both gone, Eric ran out of the ward very carefully.
He thought about his feet and quietly ran towards the corridor where I was.
"Selena what are you doing here? Can you take me out again today?"
Eric quickly jumped on me after seeing it in the corner, put his arms around my waist and lifted his little face to ask me with great excitement.
I gently pinched his little nose and reached out with my other hand to take his little hand.
We needed to get out of our current location as fast as we could to prevent the nurse from suddenly returning.
"Sophie is getting married in two weeks, and today we're going to buy new clothes and be very handsome for her wedding."
"Gosh, then she must be very happy, but Selena, when are you getting married? Sister Sophie is a year younger than you."
Eric's question made me wonder how to answer for a moment.
"Kids don't ask these questions."
But for a moment just now, Damon's face appeared in my mind.
