Chapter 66: A Professor Unlike Any Other

After Sophie's wedding, my driver took me back to my apartment early the next morning.
Because I was quite behind in my classes, I focused more on school, and regarding Eric's condition, I had been using all my powers to find a possible match.
The part-time night job at the club also increased from three times a week to five times a week.
Luckily, most of my classes this semester were in the afternoons, so the evening part-time jobs didn't interfere too much with my class work.
At the same time, I also found that the many dancers' clothes in the club were not stunning enough, resulting in many girls' beauty not being set off, and Tom joked with me, hoping that my aesthetic could help him make clothes and he could offer me more pay.
Although I was eager to take the job, I hadn't done any systematic teaching after all and turned Tom down.
Very coincidentally, I found a course related to clothing design in the school's elective program, and I decisively signed up for it.
Today was the first class of this elective, and I arrived at the classroom very early. Coincidentally, the professor of this course was also a member of the Van Domme Heer family.
This is a very strange professor, I have been studying in school for two years, and I have not heard of this professor, and there are not many students in the classroom.
After the bell rang for class, an old professor in a stiff suit slowly walked up to the podium from the door.
I was shocked when I saw the face of the classroom, which was none other than the owner of the store where Damon took me to buy clothes last time, and surprisingly, I didn't expect it to be a professor of the school.
Unlike the professor I saw in the clothing store, at this time the professor had more of an academic temperament, but also both the unique fashion sense of the clothing designers.
"Hi, young boys and girls, I am your lecturer for this course, Professor Orlando."
It was obvious that the professor recognized me as well, and after introducing himself, his turquoise eyes looked in my direction while winking mischievously at me.
Unlike the feeling the professor brought me when we first met at the clothing store, when the professor stood on the podium, he was the linker of knowledge, using many different examples and vivid words to teach us knowledge.
It made the originally boring class lively and interesting, and made people fall in love with the course straight away.
"Selena." After class ended, the students left, and when I finally finished taking notes and was ready to leave, the professor called out to me.
I stopped in my tracks and looked at him suspiciously.
"We meet again." Professor Orlando greeted me warmly, his eyes narrowed to slits from an overly exaggerated smile.
I could tell that he was in a good mood.
"Hi, Professor, it's a pleasure to be your student." I greeted the professor politely.
"Do you have time to have a cup of coffee with me?" It's hard to refuse an invitation from a professor, especially from such a talented and charming professor.
"Sure." I agreed to the professor's request.
The professor took me to a quiet cafe in the school. There were few people here, but every part of the cafe was decorated with a literary atmosphere, and it was more like an art gallery than a cafe.
I saw a picture of the professor on the cafe's exhibition wall, a group photo of three people, and I had seen the other two people in the photo.
One was Damon, and the other was the woman on Damon's phone screensaver, Damon's mother.
I was so shocked at my discovery that I didn't notice the professor standing right next to me.
"Looks like you found out." The smile on his face didn't diminish in the slightest, but rather grew even wider.
Professor Orlando reached out his hand and gently stroked the woman and child in the photo.
I stiffened my neck and possessed a bold guess in my mind.
"You are a clever boy, you guessed correctly, I am indeed Damon's father."
The professor seemed to see the problem I was thinking about and spoke directly to me about his identity.
"I ......" I didn't know how to react for a moment.
"Don't be nervous, this course of yours is specially arranged by me. I liked you a lot through our last meeting, and I can see that Damon likes you a lot too."
At what the professor said, it made me believe my ears even less.
"No, there is nothing ...... between Damon and me," I hastily denied my relationship with Damon.
"No need to explain in a hurry, I'm just happy that you are the first girl Damon brought us to meet."
The professor said to me after he found a window seat and we were seated.
I caught the key word "we" that the professor said very precisely.
"The owner of the jewelry store is Damon's mother, and she made a bet with me, so we each opened a store in the mall to compete in turnover." Professor Orlando's turquoise eyes swirled with doting when he mentioned Damon's mother.
"Actually, what's more important is to help Damon find a girlfriend." Professor Orlando stared at me with a smirk as he said this.
I was surprised that I hadn't thought that I had already met Damon's parents shortly after I met him.
And I, too, was surprised by Professor Orlando's last look, I gulped, he probably didn't want me to be Damon's girlfriend, did he?
"I'm sorry professor, I don't currently have any plans in the relationship department, and besides, Damon already had a fiancée a long time ago didn't he?"
I lowered my eyes, looked at the coffee cup in front of me, and when I said the last, my voice even had some trembling.
Although Damon told me that the problem about Morgan has been solved, but now the situation I can only choose this excuse.
"I think you've already met Stefan." Professor Orlando mentioned an unfamiliar name.
I looked at the professor with some bewilderment, not understanding what he meant by this statement.
"Stefan has a cheek similar to Damon's, he was found by Damon accidentally among the homeless and brought him back for instruction, and Stefan is like Damon's shadow, helping Damon with all the problems he doesn't want to take care of himself, which also includes some troublesome women."
I listened to the professor's statement and recalled the topic of the double that Damon had mentioned to me.
When I learned these things, the doubts in my mind became more serious.
Why did Professor Orlando say so much to me?
