Chapter 12 - Prelude to the Honeymoon

As they entered their big hovel, Dareon gently put down on the bed his newly wedded wife; his body followed lying on top of her, pinning her underneath him. Their eyes locked, each with glitters of excitement.

When Dareon lowered down his lips into hers, Shelyca closed her eyes, thinking about nothing anymore except for the fact that she is now a Dragon Master’s wife, something that has never crossed her mind before.

As Dareon’s lips grazed her lips, Shelyca quivered beneath him. Automatically, her arms wrapped his neck and she placed herself in that realm of complete surrender.

To Shelyca’s surprise, however, she suddenly felt swept and carried by his arms. When she opened her eyes she was greeted by the glaring sunlight outside of their hovel.

“Dareon, why are we here?” she asked dumbfounded.

Dareon smiled. “Would you not want to have a joy ride up in the sky first before I bring you myself to the other dimension of heaven afterward?” he grinned at her while saying this.

Shelyca’s face grew red as she understood what he meant.

Dareon put her down for a while, made some few steps away from her, and then after a few seconds, a smoke enveloped his body while a ray of twinkling lights scattered and danced around such smoke. When the smoke and the lights disappeared, a mighty, large Dragon of reddish color with golden sprinkled spots from its head to back suddenly flipped its strong wings.

Shelyca gasped in total awe. The only traces that she could see of Dareon into the Dragon is his bluish eyes that suddenly turned to deep brown when he either feels angered or completely amazed and excited.

The mighty Dragon turned its head to Shelyca and through her mind, she heard him telling her to jump over his back as they are going to fly in the sky. She did as told. Still, in her lovely wedding gown, she gently climbed at the Dragon’s back when it lowered its body to accommodate her.

When the Dragon master soared up gently unto the sky with the Lycan Princess on his back still on her bridal gown, the people of Thregonad Villag, followed them with their delightful gazes with hands clasped out of happiness except for Thelma who is frowning and feeling totally heartbroken.

The Thregonad people rejoiced for finally, their Dragon Master has found a wife that will bring joy to his heart and shall help him rule the Thregonad Land.

As the Dragon Master’s form disappeared into the eyes of the Thregonad people, Threma faced the brave Thregonad warrior, Glendo.

“You may put on the ring in my finger; it will save me from the Pirates tomorrow,” she said without any traces of smile on her lips as she extended her hand to Glendo.

Glendo with eyes glistening immediately put on the ring to Threma’s finger and then handed to her the other ring. He showed to Threma his ring finger motioning to her to put the ring on his finger too.

Threma obliged. She got the ring from Glendo and silently put it on his ring finger.

With that, Duri with a wide grin on her lips clapped energetically then grabbed the hands of Threma and Glendo with their rings on it.

“Hurray to the newlyweds too!” Duri shouted as she held up high, those hands of Threma and Glendo.

Surprised, the Thregonad people shouted to their hurrays and congratulated Threma and Glendo.

Threma smiled while looking at her ring. It will save her from the pirates but will not hinder her from being the Master Dragon’s mistress later on.

“You may kiss the bride Glendo!” Duri shouted followed by the clapping hands of the Thregonad people.

Threma faced Glendo nonchalantly, closed her eyes, and offered her lips to him. She needs to do this to seal their make-believe marriage.
