Chapter 31- Rejections

“Oh goodness, Duke Simon! Is that you?” Princess Trisha exclaimed. Maybe the Moon Goddess heard her prayers.
The man’s forehead furrowed as he looked at Princess Trisha trying to figure out who she is.
“It’s me, Princess Trisha of the Kingdom of Gold Valley.” Princess Trisha smiled sweetly as she introduced herself.
“Ahh, now I remember you, Second Princess Trisha. What is the problem?” Duke Simon asked while giving the guard a quizzical look.
“Well, I am traveling around to relax away from the palace and this resort is number one on my list to visit. However, I did not know that only club members can enter this place. So, I was requesting if I could be a member, I can pay anyhow.” Princess Trisha widened her smile while explaining.
“I see. Well guard, please let them in. They are with me.” Duke Simon suddenly stated while giving the guard a stern look.
“Yes, yes, Duke Simon, an apology for the delay.” The guard almost stammered as he immediately opened up the gate and motioned for Princess Shelyca to get inside.
“Duke Simon, thank you.” Princess Trisha gratefully said.
“We have a problem ‘though Princess Trisha. I only reserved one suite. I cannot add up as reservation here is always made three days before the date of visit.” Frowning, Duke Simon said.
“Oh, that is a big problem.” Her smile abruptly faded as she looked at the Duke with a grimace.
With a puckered brow, he muttered, “You have no choice Princess; if you want to really stay and enjoy this place then you have no other recourse but to stay in my suite, otherwise you and your driver can move now, away from the gate,” he hissed.
Princess Trisha became rattled as he heard his words. Mumbling and stammering she said. “Duke Simon, I… I mean if it is not too much, I really wanted to stay and enjoy myself here.”
Princess Trisha suddenly realized that everything is falling into place. This is actually her plan; to trap the Duke in her sweet embraces and lure him into having her.
The Duke looked at him with eyes looming with a deluge. “So be it then. Let us meet at the reception area,” he said then got inside his car.

“Gano, everything is falling into places. I will stay here for three days with the Duke of Sussex. You can find a place to stay nearby, stay put, and wait for my call.” Princess Trisha’s voice is now filled with excitement.
Gano suddenly frowned. “Princess, I heard everything. You still have time to back out and leave this place,” he almost growled, it was like something is crashing it. It has been long that Gano knew the Second Princess is his mate but the latter is trying to ignore that fact. Knowing that she will be staying inside the suite of the Duke is starting to disturb him.
“Do as I told you Gano. I don’t need your unsolicited advice.” Princess Trisha scornfully replied to the Delta Warrior.
Gano with clenched teeth drove the car inside the Beach Resort.
“Help me with my luggage Gano.” Princess Trisha ordered the Delta Warrior who seemed to have no intention of getting out of the car.
With a drastic move, Gano opened his driver’s seat, got out, and slammed its door. “How could you be acting like a slut Princess? Can’t you see, he is just making fun of you; testing you and then you took the bait,” he almost growled as he muttered these words.
“Stop it Gano, I know you are getting jealous. You know very well, I will never honor that mate thing between us.” Princess Trisha mockingly snarled at the Delta warrior.
Gano stiffened as he gazed at Princess Trisha; hurt showed in his gloomy eyes. “I know,” he almost whispered in a totally defeated tone.
She did not know where it came from but Princess Trisha’s heart has been hit by something that when she looked at Gano’s too melancholic face, she wanted to appease him. She shook her head, however, thinking that this is not the time to fill her thoughts with any other things except about the Duke of Sussex. Her purpose in coming to this beach resort is the Duke of Sussex and the opportunity for her to materialize her plans is now glaring wide at her.
The Duke was waiting for Princess Trisha at the reception area. She smiled as she saw him standing dashingly. Her heart fluttered.
“Duke Simon.” She called him.
He faced her and smiled. “We are all set Princess Trisha. Let’s go.”
Gano could not almost step any of his feet to follow Duke Simon and Princess Trisha. He is crumbling inside and he wanted to kill the Duke of Sussex at this very minute.
As they entered the Duke’s suite; he glared at Gano who remained standing inside after putting down the luggage of Princess Trisha.
“Are you not going to walk out of our suite already?” Duke Simon eyed Gano with arrogance as he glanced at the door as if telling the Delta Warrior to get out.
Gano’s face reddened as veins thereon almost shattered. He faced Princess Trisha. “You are a Princess; you may live with that title not only in name but in deeds,” he murmured before he left the suite quickly.
