Chapter 38 - Reprimanding the Second Princess

I

The King and Queen of the Kingdom of Gold Valley waited until Princess Trisha and Delta Gano would stand before them.

“Princess Trisha, Delta Gano, good thing you are back now,” Queen Lusica said, her face was devoid of joy. She was not happy with what she heard from Duke Simon about what their Second Princess has done.

“Nice to be back my Queen,” Second Princess Trisha said while vowing her head.

Delta Gano vowed also as a sign of respect and greetings at the same time to their King and Queen.

“Delta Gano you may go now. We need to speak with Princess Trisha first.” It was King Andreios who spoke. His face is placid yet seemed to be a cyclone that will soon overwhelm his mood.

Delta Gano nodded. “As you said so, my King.” Then Gano excused himself and left the throne’s hall.

King Andreios pointed to their Second Princess, the chair near their thrones. “Princess Trisha take a seat, we might have a long talk,” he said in a very serious tone. His eyes show gloom and disappointment.

Princess Trisha is quite confused why the spouses King and Queen seemed to be very serious when dealing with her at the moment. She cannot remember anything that she did inside the palace before she left that might have upset them.

Queen Lusica breathed deeply before speaking again. “Second Princess Trisha, just moments ago Duke Simon came in unexpectedly. Did you meet while you were on your holiday trip?”

Princess Trisha’s heart tumbled as she heard the question of Queen Lusica. She simply nodded. “Yes, we did meet, my Queen Mother. It was coincidental. We were trying to book a suite at the Mambu Shine Beach Resort and Hotel when we suddenly saw Duke Simon.”

“What happened next Princess Trisha?” It was Queen Lusica again who asked.

Princess Trisha suddenly fell silent and moved her head down.

King Andreios cleared his throat first before speaking. “Princess Trisha, didn’t we tell you that dignity is very important?” It is what makes our Kingdom well respected.”

Princess Trisha felt her face burning with shame. She dared not to look at her adoptive parents.

“Duke Simon said something about what you did that I cannot take Princess Trisha. Let me remind you again, please do not bring shame to yourself; do not compromise your dignity not only because you are carrying the flagship of the Kingdom of Gold Valley but more so because you are a Princess reared to be one with grace and pride.” Queen Lusica’s every word was like a fire that brought more burning sensation to Second Princess Trisha’s face. She now realized how shameful she was then when she offered herself to the Duke without any commitment at all. She was like then a piece of rug, which was left aside after being used.

Princess Trisha’s anger against Princess Shelyca ignited more; believing that where if not for the First Princess’ action of abandoning the Duke of Sussex, she will not ever do what she did or if she did, the Duke of Sussex will not treat her the way he treated her.

When she excused herself from the King and the Queen of the Kingdom of Gold Valley after both of them gave her their sermons, which made her felt truly belittled; Princess Trisha swore to herself that Princess Shelyca will pay for every shame and every pain that she experienced since the time that she was adopted by the spouses, King Andreios and Queen Lusica.

After a few moments, King Andreios and Queen Lusica summoned Delta Gano and seriously spoke to him..

“Delta Gano, how come that Princess Trisha was able to do what she did with Duke Simon? You were there not only to accompany her but also to guard her every move.” King Andreios’ voice was full of dissatisfaction.

Delta Gano looked down and shook his head. “Apology my King, but I was not able to control the Second Princess, but I really tried so hard to control her. That was why I even made a way to book another suite with the help of Queen Lusica.”
“From now on, you will be with her every time Delta Gano. If you need to tie her so that she will be controlled, then do it.” King Andreios ordered his Delta warrior in his most firm voice.

Delta Gano nodded. Somehow, he felt happy with his new assignment. It means, he will always be beside Princess Trisha, without anyone in the palace suspecting his relationship with her. They are mates but Princess Trisha does not want anyone to know it.

“Your wish is my command, my King. Be rest assured that I will be on guard always and be on her side.” Delta Gano humbly replied with a secret smile forming his lips. His heart is jumping with joy. That Duke Simon cannot come near her Second Princess Trisha again, he swore.
