Chapter 36 - Ready for the Second Wedding

Dareon put down his coffee and faced his wife who is now eagerly waiting for his answer; her eyes are excited and her total aura is something to behold.

“Wife, can I tell you about it tonight?” He tilted her chin, smiled handsomely, and then gave her a quick kiss.

Shelyca suddenly frowned and gave her husband a wide look; meaning, she does not buy his act of avoidance and getting away on the matter.

“Hmm, let’s talk about it while having a soothing dip in the warm seawater. Come on, let us have a swim.” Dareon persuaded his wife. He stood up and yanked, getting hold of her wrist.

“Hey, I have not changed yet to my swimsuit attire; you too.” Shelyca protested but Dareon just laughed at her.

“No need to change Sweety, we can dip and dive into the water… without clothes if you want,” he grinned.

She teasingly growled at him and ran ahead to the beach. Dareon followed her laughing out loud.

They enjoyed the beach and when the other Thregonad people saw the couple enjoying their swimming time; they one by one left to give them the privacy moment that they deserved.

“Dareon, when are we going back to our Palace? Remember what my parents told us?” Shelyca suddenly remembered the wedding based on the Lycan Customs that her parents wanted for them.

“When do you want? Hmm, you really wanted to marry me again and again?” he teased her and she blushed like a teenage girl.

“If you don’t like, well, then don’t. I won’t mind,” she retorted giving him a glowering glance.

Dareon laughed seeing her being pissed off. “We can fly tomorrow if you want. I can’t wait to marry you for the second time.” He winked at her while encircling his arms around her waist and kissed her neck.

Shelyca secretly giggled upon hearing his words.

The next day the spouses flew to the Kingdom of Gold Valley. But before that Dareon cast a spell all over the Thregonad Village. He put an invisible wall around it. Should there be intruders who would try to enter the village, they will just bounce back and a magical force will throw them into the sea.

Shelyca saw Dareon raised his hands and acted like embracing the whole Thregonad Village into his arms, so she asked, “What was that for, husband?”

Dareon smiled. “I made sure that our Village and our people will be safe while we are away,” he replied.

Shelyca understood what he wanted to imply and he gave him a tender embrace. She is too proud of her husband, who always thinks about the welfare of other people before himself. She could feel so much love now for him; not to mention that she and her wolf, Sheenei knew that Dareon is their mate. It’s just that she never want to let him know about it yet; she did not want to admit yet the love she has for him.

The next day, Dareon in his Dragon form, while carrying Shelyca at his back, flew into the sky and traversed a number of mountains before reaching the Kingdom of Gold Valley again.

They landed at the rooftop balcony of the Palace of the Kingdom of Gold Valley. The two guards assigned at the rooftop were shocked when they saw the big Dragon form of Dareon with their Princess at his back, flying down to their spot.

When Dareon transformed into his human form, the two guards were definitely in complete awe already. Dareon flicked his fingers and the two guards completely forgot about the dragon that they saw just a while ago.

When they entered the throne’s hall of the palace; the King and Queen were highly delighted to see them again.

The Queen immediately alighted from her throne and embraced her daughter with much joy and then kissed both of her cheeks.
“Dareon, welcome back to our Kingdom,” the King said as he and Dareon’s hands clasped for a handshake.

“So, can we conclude that you are here now because you are ready for your wedding under the Lycan’s customs?” The Queen asked the spouses with a wide smile.

Shelyca just looked at Dareon but did not reply. It was Dareon who nodded and in a teasing voice said, “Yes your highness; so that your daughter here can’t totally get away from me anymore.”

In reply, Shelyca gently pinched the arm of her husband while giggling. Dareon in return encircled his arm around her shoulders and kissed her forehead gently.

Both the King and Queen smiled widely while observing the happy couple in front of them.

“Well then, we need to start preparing everything about your wedding starting tomorrow.” The Queen excitedly said.

Suddenly, they heard a voice nearby, “Of whose wedding your highness?”
