Chapter 20 - The Visit to the Kingdom of Gold Valley

When the night started to make its way the next day, the reddish mighty Dragon with a woman in her all-black outfit from head to toe, riding on its back, glided its strong and big wings into the sky.

Dareon and Shelyca are on their way now to the Kingdom of Gold Valley. Through their minds, they are exchanging some thoughts.
“Do you think wife, we are in the right direction?” Dareon asked Shelyca through his mind as he flipped his wings more.

“I think so husband; hmmm, I know you can use some magic so that we can find our way, am I right?” Shelyca is teasing her husband.

Both laughing, Dareon glided his wings fast after warning her wife to hold on to his back tighter.

It was bliss for Shelyca as she can see sights to behold around while riding at the back of her mighty Dragon husband. She could see sprinkled lights down while shining stars and bright moon in the sky. Traveling like this is indeed an overwhelmingly exciting experience to remember.

They traveled for two hours, passing more lights, breathtaking sights and just a while ago, an airplane even passed them by. Out of naughtiness, Shelyca even waived her hand to the airplane to the amazement of some passengers who were looking outside the aircraft’s window.

Shelyca laughed. “How lucky I could get; I do not need an airplane to travel by air; I do not even need to line up in the airport to reach another destination. All I need is to ride at the back of my husband.” She merrily thought.

Dareon is secretly laughing as he can hear his wife’s thoughts. Her childish ways and hidden naughtiness made him drawn to her even more.

A few moments later, Shelyca noticed that the place below them is already familiar to her. “Husband, I believe we are near in our palace now,” she said shouting, excitement could be felt in her voice.

Dareon suddenly felt excited too that he flipped his wings faster.

“Hey, hey husband flies slower, too fast made me dizzy,” Shelyca shouted again laughing.

Dareon laughed too and made his wings flipped at a slower pace.

“That’s it hubby, excellent!” Shelyca felt so bubbly because of happiness.

Dareon felt so light seeing his wife this bubbly.

“Husband, we are here, please fly down slower.” She shouted once more, her excitement is uncontrollable.

As the mighty Dragon landed into the open field of the palace, Dareon suddenly felt a little thud inside his dragon heart.

Shelyca alighted from her mighty dragon’s back and gladly caressed the dragon’s head.

“Thank you, husband. It is time for you to shift now,” she whispered to the dragon.

With that, a ray of light rounded the dragon and as it disappeared, Dareon in his human form came out.

“Wife, how do I look? Am I presentable enough to face your King and Queen Parents?” he asked as if not too confident this time.

Shelyca wanted to laugh seeing the mighty and brave Chieftain and Dragon Master, losing his full confidence now.

“Husband, you are absolutely presentable; hmmm, I mean more than presentable because you are so gorgeous,” she said smiling.

Dareon smiled widely, “Uhhmm really? Let’s go then, wife?” he winked at her and then put his right hand around her shoulders.

As they entered the palace, the guards were shocked to see Princess Shelyca. The Royal Head Guard ran towards the throne’s hall to inform the Lycan King and Queen of the Kingdom of Gold Valley.

“Your Majesty, we saw Princess Shelyca entered the palace.” The Royal head guard announced catching his breath.

Upon hearing the news of the Royal head guard, the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Gold Valley immediately got up from their thrones and speedily walked towards the palace’s entrance.

Trisha, the Second Princess, who was walking down the corridor on the second floor, noticed the commotion inside the palace. She hurriedly went down and asked the guard that she passed by. “Guard, what is happening?”

“Princess Trisha, your sister, Princess Shelyca is alive, she is here now.” The guard exclaimed happily after vowing his head to the Second Princess.

The Second Princess suddenly stiffened. “What?” she asked in an exclamatory tone.

“The First Princess is alive, Princess Trisha.” The guard repeated.

Could not be able to believe what she heard, the Second Princess ran going to the entrance of the palace. Before she could reach the entrance of the palace, however, she saw the King and the Queen embracing a woman who is clad in an all-black outfit and beside them is a tall, handsome, and well-built man whose personality emits that surge of power that the Second Princess could strongly feel.

“Who is this man?” Princess Trisha murmured as she observed the man from a few distances.

Then suddenly, Princess Trisha heard the woman in a black outfit introduced the man.

“Father, Mother, the man beside me is Dareon, my husband.” Princess Shelyca introduced Dareon to her parents who were both so stunned by such introduction.

Princess Trisha who was so eager to know him was also shocked upon hearing the introduction made by the woman in a black outfit, who she recognized now as the First Princess, Princess Shelyca.

Princess Trisha briskly walked to approach and greet the First Princess of the Kingdom of Gold Valley.

“Goodness Sister, you are indeed alive!” Princess Trisha ran and hugged Princess Shelyca.

“Oh, Princess Trisha, yes, with Moon Godess’ grace, she saved me and of course this mighty man here, who found and helped me.” Princess Shelyca hugged her back.

Then Princess Trisha faced Dareon as she broke her embrace from Princess Shelyca. “And may I know, who is this dazzling man beside you sister?” she asked while giving Dareon a quizzical look.

“Oh, Princess Trish, he is Dareon, my husband. Dareon, this is Princess Trisha, my sister.” Princess Shelyca’s introduction in reply to her adopted sister’s query.

“Husband? You are always that fast Princess Shelyca. Nice meeting you brother in law.” Princess Trisha said while extending her hand to Dareon for a handshake.

Dareon accepted Princess Trisha’s offered hand. While having their handshake, Princess Trisha looked into the bluish eyes of Dareon, and then she felt as if a fire ran through her whole being burning down her soul.

At that moment, Dareon was already penetrating the mind of Princess Trisha.
