Chapter 44 - His Unexpected Admittance

It was an unexpected admittance that Dareon was not able to control in the height of his passion. He did not want to let her know it yet but his emotions betrayed him.

Princess Shelyca was stunned and then overwhelmed with happiness when he heard Dareon’s pledge of love in the outburst of his passion when they were at the peak of their lovemaking.

After such mind-blowing lovemaking, Dareon laid flat on his back, unable to look at his wife. He knew he said something that his wife might be laughing at now.

Shelyca on one hand glanced at her husband, whose right arm was put on top of his eyes as if the bright light dazzled him. She smiled mysteriously while looking at him unable to control her wolf within, who were jumping and wiggling her tail like a cocotte when Dareon muttered those “I love you” words.

She moved on her left side to face Dareon, who at this time remained with his previous position. She dreamily looked at him and put her arm across his chest. Still, he did not dare to move.

“Dareon,” she whispered, trying to get his attention.

“Hmmm, what?” he answered in a low almost growling tone.
“Ahmm, nothing; I just thought you just slept after getting me tired,” she said while smiling while caressing his chest playfully. She then nestled her head on top of his chest.

A warm smile filled Dareon’s lips secretly. He knew she heard him and he wished she would answer him. Although, she did not reply the way she called his name, caressed his chest, and nestled her head on him, seemed she wanted to convey what he is dying to hear from her. He then just assumed that she felt the same way.

“Wife?” he murmured.

“Hmm, yes?”

“Ahh, I just thought you just fell asleep after making me tired,” he said mimicking what she said a while ago. Shelyca giggled and laughed.

They both laughed heartily and then fell asleep thereafter. They woke up at mid noon already, almost time for lunch.

The food on the dining table was all set when they got out of their room and walked to the dining area.

“Perfect, I am definitely so hungry,” he said as he sat on the dining chair. Princess Shelyca sat beside him.

When their maid tried to serve food to Dareon, Shelyca stopped her. “Let me do it for my husband Matilda.”

Matilda nodded smiling as she put on the table again the bowl of soup that she was about to serve to her master. Dareon looked at his wife, smiling.

“What? Can’t I serve you?” she asked him, furrowing.

“I will absolutely love it, wife, seeing you serving me gladly,” he answered grinning. Truly his heart is full of happiness right now.

Matilda has been observing how their Chieftain ate with so much appetite, while his wife has been serving him and would even feed him with food from time to time. She had that smile while having that unbelievable thought that their hard and cold-blooded Chieftain could actually fell in love, head over heels.

The next day, the Thregonad people have been awakened when around five o’clock in the morning, they heard a sound of a helicopter rotor, whirling around, trying to find a suitable area to land. After a minute, the helicopter landed at the Thregonad’s training field.

“My Love, wake up, I guess the helicopter that just landed in our open field is familiar to me,” Dareon whispered to Shelyca that awakened her.

Still feeling hazy, Shelyca woke up and peeped in their window. Her eyes suddenly grew wide when she recognized, one of the palace’s jets of the Kingdom of Gold Valley.

“Dareon, we have visitors from our Kingdom,” she said, exclaiming

“My guess was right then. Come on let us freshen up and hurry to meet them.” Dareon said as he motioned to Shelyca to use the comfort room inside their bedroom and he will use the other one beside their kitchen.

They both moved like a flash that in few minutes, they were ready to face their visitors.

Holding hands, they got out of their big hovel and walked towards their training field where the Palace’s jet, just landed.

They waited for the visitors to come out from the aircraft. They do not actually know yet who came from the Kingdom of Gold Valley.

“Maybe one of our officials to give us the invitation for the upcoming wedding anniversary celebration of my parents? What do you think hubby?” Shelyca said smiling.

“I guess you are wrong my love. Look who is here,” Dareon said while his eyes were fixed on the two individuals getting out of the palace’s jet.

Shelyca was stunned as she saw who just arrived.
